Ok just stick the whole avocado skin and all on the freezer! Easy peasy! You can out it in a bag if you want to help keep air out, but I have done it both ways. Stays green and consistency is a little more mushy than fresh, otherwise great. The thing is not to wait until they are getting over ripe. Buy a heap and when ready to eat but still firm freeze the surplus

I tried freezing avocado's sliced and drizzled with lemon juice. Took out air from the ziploc. Was brown after 2 weeks in the freezer. Looks like freezing unopened avocados is the way to go.

It seems to me that if you store cut avocado in fridge with seed in it that it spoils quicker. Have never frozen avocados but if I did would remove seed.
