  • If your caught out in the elements like a BLIZZARD and need an Emergency Cold weather Primitive Shelter this video will teach you that in minutes. No Fire needed you can survive nights in below freezing temperatures.
Have you ever tried to make a shelter out of only primitive materials? its quite easy to do and fun as well, you just have to know which materials you need to utilize to keep the heat in.
Hope to see you on my survival adventures

Yes really. If you don't wear a good sweater, jackets, carry knife, sword to cut wood, lighter, plastic sheats and ofcourse some food stuffs to heat and eat, then death by freeze is inevitable!

We can see why bright colors on all your gear is so important.
Your backpack can be used to keep your feet warmer!
It's too bad you didn't spend the night there!
The very first rule of survival is AVOID dangerous situations. If you can't, think ahead and dress for the weather. Collect good basic gear, food and water and put it in a large pack [Army Duffle Bag?] Take it!
Sleep during the day because you won't sleep at night. Find a south facing rock face and take a sun bath. Warm up your core. Dry out your clothes.
    Keep the videos coming!

I think you demonstrated the basics in this video. Sooo much hate and backseat drivers who need to make their own channel since they are “experts”. Then the comparisons to other channels. Sooo many Karen’s in the thread 🤪
“Well at the other Restaurant… they offer olives on the side…”
I shake my head to see how humanity has no love. I understand the feedback. Perhaps some of these guys can make their own version, film it, edit it and post it.
Listen I am no expert. But I seen the basic science and the thinking behind that emergency shelter. Yes you could have maybe this, maybe that… but if folks are hungry. “Either eat the sandwich or don’t” This is a good reminder for me that no matter if you do your best… there will always be detractors. Well done Solider. Carry on. Looks like some other soldiers are just fighting with themselves.
Found the video well done. Not exhaustive… but the science is there in case of an emergency.

Thank you really appreciate it and have to agree 100% with what your saying, of course if I was really in this situation bet your ass I would build the walls and floor 3-5 times thicker with pine bows to insulate better and close it in well. Most people hate because they are disgusted with success and also with themselves, but make no effort for improvement which we all need in life. Thanks for watching and enjoyed your comment. dont forget valleys with no openings are super cold death traps ... because they trap the cold ... you want to be on the bottom 1/3rd of a mountain so youre not at the bottom and not near the top .... even valley's with openings are deadly because of this ... by telling people to camp at the bottom you are setting them up to die literally ... dont camp the top of a mountain and dont camp the valley's ... camp about 1/3rd the way up the hill side then you are in warmer air less likely to get flooded out and out of the majority of the wind and near dead standing firewood ....this is where your BEST chance of survival is ... this is what is taught for extreme survival in the military

A far better option would be to always be prepared for such a situation, especially by putting one of those 10' X 12' 2-3 mil drop cloths you can buy for a song at Dollar Store in your vehicle or backpack, as we do here in Wyoming, so that if we do have to build a shelter, we will have the bare necessities. Best is to stay with your vehicle, but if you're caught out in a white-out blizzard like we get here, that drop cloth could save your life, and could even suffice to shelter more than one person.

Whether Private or Federal land, would the government punish you for trying to save your life, especially in an emergency situation ?

people build camps and such on state and federal land all the time, just don't leave garbage or start a forest fire...Hell, San Francisco allows it on city streets....LOL...

One or two military surplus poncho's, a couple meters of para cord and you can have a wind/water/snow proof shelter in about a fifth of the time you can put together a shelter like this. And all those would of taken up the same space as the beaver pelt. Plus you don't have to chop down a bunch of small live tree's. This kind of bushcraft was all the rage 50 + years ago, but then we all became conscience of low impact camping, and started using modern tech to be safe and sheltered. Now it's turned around and everyone is chopping crap down and building rock/mud/wooden "forts" in the woods again. Sort of ironic and annoying all at the same time.

If it was a survival situation, it would not matter where u were. State, federal or private land. U can use any means necessary to survive

The green pine branches are not the best bedding because of the moisture in them. A layer of small dry twigs is a much better option.

Great shelter, just should stress for emergency use. I have seen areas that people have made these structures and destroyed full pine trees

exactly, these trees were fresh growth being removed a month later also, but again I would never do this unless in a true survival situation. thanks for watching

I am sure Bigfoots do this to survive as well. It would be funny doing something like this in the snow, then at night time finding out Bf's are staying '10 ft away from you under another tree.

The first thing might be to get off the top but the VERY first thing is not to work up a sweat....it will cause pretty much instant hypothermia if you are unable to make a fire....

Your cutting live pine trees. Killing trees isn't something I would do. Take lower branches from different trees or it will kill a young tree :'c(

  • @rob_eternal

Seems like a lot of unnecessary work. If you had an axe you could of just cut down those small pines and laid them up against the large tree and it would of worked much better.

    • @paparomesoutdoors711
      @paparomesoutdoors711  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

Not in a survival situation you do what you need to survive. I was on private land with permission to do this and these trees were a nuisance growth also from logging 5 year prior so they are not wanted in that land anyway only hard wood is what they want.
