Oh my, there is nothing like a good snow storm going on outside, and your inside where its warm with a nice bowl of chili or some kind if soup to warm up your insides, along with a hot cup of tea, wrapped in your favorite blanket with soft music playing and your cat or dog laying along side you. Thank u this takes me back to when I was a young boy living on the farm we didn't have any heat up stairs in winter we had plenty of blankets this is exactly what sounded like when a winter storm would come under my blankets thinking of a innocent time.

I remember that too in the west of Ireland. You're in trouble and you need blankets when the Inside of the window is frozen ....brrrrrrrr.
My Mama used to tell us a similar story. She was reared in 🦊 Fox River, Wisconsin .
My father would cover the windows with heavy plastic and it helped a lot. The heavy quilts kept us warm and cozy.

I love being Canadian and having the long cold dark winter nights! These sounds remind me of the extraordinarily cold winters I experienced growing up in the 90s. Especially nights at my grandmothers. I will never forget the morning we woke after a storm to find her dark blue Nissan Sentra completely buried. She made me pea soup that day. Miss you Nonna♥️

Ellie I thought your question was a good one. The purpose of making a video about “howling winds” is on point. Don’t worry about the guy that is vane enough to need 4 names. It’s an obvious case of ‘small man syndrome’ where he can only feel better if he can make someone feel bad.
I'm hoping the little n big birds have migrated somewhere warmer . And all the animals in the trees n forests are safe n this passed quickly . Shiver just to think of them , as I love animals n all of Gods creation .

I often wonder where the little creatures take cover in storms like this. In winter I see the bird's nests in the stark trees withstand the terrible winds and marvel at the world. I pray they all find warmth in the shelter of the earth, tree trunks, and covered places.
I love this noise but hate the thought of animals being cold and struggling to find food in the winter.
Cuddled up with my husband and the kids when the older 2 were little ones in the front room. We'd make a pallet on the floor and watch through the patio doors. Another cherished memory. He recently passed...I miss him so 😢

This reminds me of when me and my sister was younger we lived with our grandpa for a little bit and he has a wood stove,the whole house would stay nice and warm as we could hear and see the wind blowing like crazy sometimes in the middle of the day we'd fall asleep listening to it 😴

The night train is the only means of travel in and out of the twilight zone. It is not so much a place as it is a time. For every passenger the experience is different. Tonight many will feel the need to sleep but before they do....the Night Train may have something special instore for it's passengers!

But imagine if you will a place where you can grow up again. A place where you can change your life as you know it. Anything is now possible if you step off but be warned..... there's no coming back. So if sleep is all you need then I suggest you close your eyes and by pass the next stop. It's a place that also exists in your dreams....or a Night Train going anywhere....in the twilight zone.
As long as I'm not homeless, I love this sound.

I love to hear winter winds. If I cant get away to sleep in an old cabin I built with my best friend back in the 80's in the worst of winter I will set up a shelter in my back yard on the worst of the winter nights where I live. There is something primeval about howling winter winds.

It was a beautiful sound in the winter. We had an old farm house and the windows were not tight upstairs so it was perfect for sleeping under those warm loving blankets my grandmother hand made for all us kids.....Love those days! So long ago...

This is amazing, one of my favourites. I close my eyes and imagine I am in an attic or mountaintop cave with heavy blankets. I live with someone who wants windows closed all the time and complains of the cold so this is a great way for me to fall asleep. I have my fan going and pretend it's the wind flying through my blanket. I sleep like a baby.

I live in the northernmost town of Iceland. This is the most authentic winter storm sounds on YT. The only thing lacking is the snow beating on the windows. Something like drizzling rice on glass .

It is the sound of the wind, the fierceness of my love,all consuming,that pours into her spirit..thus with my strength i gather the wind to me and i open my spirit to it and we become one and on the wind i ride faster and faster, a hurricane have i become, her spirit calls, it calls to me as mine calls to her, there is a pain deep inside me that grows sharper and sharper the longer im away from her, it is the pain of separation, i this hurricane hurtles towards her call..there on the horizon i see her..arms outstretched towards me, i enter her with the force of the hurricane i ride, down into the deepest parts of her being i hurtle,there i lose all consciousness and become a raging all consuming fire that is fed by her love for me and she too is fed by mine like pure oxygen to a flame we go up into the night sky two pillars of fire one spirit and the wind...lust has no part in this, it is love that feeds this fire unending everlasting self perpetuating.

It's Feb. 2nd, 2023 and NYC is going to get a winter vortex this weekend. It's already 38° but no snow this winter...yet. I can feel the cold air coming in my window (it's slightly open) and I love it! This video makes it even more cozy!

It’s December 29th in Oregon and it hasn’t snowed at all this fall or winter. I think it’s in the upper 40s. I hate global warming.
3:09am January 3rd 2024 we haven't had any snow here in New England then going on two years but it looks like this weekend we may have a couple of inches I really hope so I miss the snow so bad I love the still and calmness pp it brings with the peace and clarity

Im in Arizona, and never heard a storm like this. Its relaxing after I stopped being scared of it! Hearing this suddenly made my room cold!

How I love the winter! It’s still very cold where I am and there is a lot of snow on the ground. I’m chilled and I’ve turned on my electric blanket and I’m snuggling under the covers listening to this. Pure heaven.

I knew a guy that would put. A bunch of hay. Out for the deer and other animals that were hungey in the winter he was cool to do that
