Oh my goodness! Yes! I LOVE this book! I've listened to it at least three times! It helps me not be so hard on myself when I narrow down on my habits and start small.
My Girlfriend is an avid follower of Pick up Limes. She will definitely come to comments section. Please like this so she reads this be surprised. "Hi Abhi!" Day 2! She did see this!!!!!! Mission Successful fellow well-wishers! Everyone of you is a beautiful human being. This was totally unexpected. And it worked like a charm. Thank you everyone, you guys gave us a memory to cherish our whole lives. You all deserve to know, she immediately called me up and couldn't help smiling/laughing and she couldn't believe this happened, 900 people said 'Hi' to her. Sadia, hence, your channel attracts people who are full of positivity. P.S. Humans are amazing.
Hey, just wanted to tell you that I have been following your channel for the past 6 months. Being a college student, I realized I needed to get my life together, and your videos have helped me a lot. Thank you and I look forward to more of your content!
While I was listening to this during breakfast the idea randomly popped into my head that I would love a podcast spoken by you! I always just listen to your videos while doing something else anyways and they are so incredibly motivating and de-stressing. Have you considered recording a podcast?
🌱Come in with a cluttered and chaotic mind, leave feeling calm and collected. 🌿🌿Thank you so much for your stunning videos!:) I absolutely love the value your channel adds to youtube❤️
Sadly for me it's an obstacle to regain this habit. After I reach my goal I tend to over indulge on praising myself and then I relax. When I have to work on a new project I have to remotivate myself all over again
Hi Sadia! Thank you for providing me comfort, support, and compassion. When I need it, I think of you and find myself here. I’ve watched and listened to many of your videos multiple times and you’ve lifted me up the past 2 years. You’ve been there for me through anxiety, panic attacks, depression - even bus rides, dish washing, blending hummus and more! My best friend just found your channel, and I can’t wait for her to feel hugged and uplifted through you. Thank you for existing, Sadia. So much love and respect for you ❤️
What you said about linking habits together is one of the most valuable techniques I ever learned from my therapist. It's called habit stacking, and is actually a much more sustainable method than carving out a totally new space/time frame for a new habit. This is the biggest thing I wish more people knew about creating new habits!
I don't know how to express this ... It's been a blessings for us to be able to have someone like You talk such patiently things we desperately want to do, but don't do ( yes, procrastination is the key) Maybe it's all about push than just the doing and creators like you define why TH-cam is still allowed as a default goto place. Love from depressed person way from India Also : if you can make a video of how to overcome Depression when there is no one to feel comfortable enough to talk to, atleast I have zero in my life.
I'm currently reading the book 'Feeling good The new mood therapy' by David Burns and it has some really helpful stuff. I currently don't have the means to get professional help and in my research this book was recommended quite often as helpful. I haven't read everything yet, but it does seem helpful and gives you a lot of practices to help you overcome depression/anxiety. It's kinda a cognitive therapy in book form. There is a printed version, but if you look for the pdf online you can get it really cheap (even for free). It's definitely worth a try.😊
Hi all, appreciate all the replys. Thank you. @Jay , found the book online for ebook read as I can't get the book from online. Not a Book reader, but this reading has started.
"I get to cook", "I get to study", "I get to buy things",... I think your tips on mindset are changing my life. I feel less bitter and frustrated, more easily calmed down, not in a hurry to buy *new* stuff. I'm glad I listened to you. Thank you!
I've been following PUL since it's initial days here on TH-cam. I accidentally came across it while looking out for some specific content. I can't believe that this channel ended up being my favorite. I know for sure, along with the content it is Sadia's way of delivering her content and her personality that gets us hooked. She's a marvel and my source of motivation of being a better person among a few people I adore which includes Michelle Obama. Lots of love to you Sadia ♥️
From the beginning of ramadan, I've been working out everyday for 2 minutes only " before praying taraweeh" Now, It's become a habit and I workout everyday other day for 20-30 minutes.I built the habit at lasssst, that too getting inspired from another video of Sadia. I.love.you girl❤❤❤❤
Omg I am so early! I just wanted to say I am an 18 year old and that you really inspired to learn to cook and eat in a healthy manner. I find cooking fun and and eating healthy food even more fun. Because of this I am able to concentrate on my school work so much more and having more time and energy to do things that I enjoy. I am going to be going into engineering next year and I honestly believe that me getting to where I am right now is because of the lessons I have learned from your channel! I just want to thank you for your work and I hope that you gain more and more happiness in your life :)
Wow, I'm super grateful to read all this, Ayan. It would have been easier for you to appreciate the content while keeping it to yourself. It means a lot that you took the time to share. Wishing you all the best with your studies and beyond, and thanks so much for being here
Sadia, thank you so much for this. I am facing a productivity slump and this is exactly what I needed to remind myself what I'm passionate about and reframing the narrative from "I have to draw" ... to "I get to draw because I'm working from home and have all this spare time - how lucky am I?!" Love all your videos xxx
Love the video Sadia! Especially changing the “have to’s” to “get to’s”. I’ve been practicing this and connecting it with gratitude. At the end of the day, rather than saying “I have to make dinner”, I try to say “I get to make dinner for my family now”. Or “ I have to walk the dog” becomes “I get to spend some time playing and walking the dog”. This switch helps me see how blessed I am and all the abundances and joy life has afforded me. It certainly is a small but important switch to change “have to” to “get to”. xoxo
Sadia, I know this may sound crazy but whenever I feel anxious and a bit lost you remind me that there is so much more to life. Your positive nature and way of living is so soothing. You are incredible and a beautiful human.
Right on time! Working on my doctoral dissertation during the quarantine. I'm getting so stressed and anxious about it, got tunnel vision. So I've been trying to build healthy habits like home cooking, working out and meditating. But it can be so hard. Thanks for the tips, definitely gonna work on them.
Good luck. Wrapping up stuff is both exciting and intimidating. I remember day when my grad committee called in and called me a doc. It was one of best moments in life.. and u r doing it in middle of quarantine. Keep going..
Sadia, you probably won't read this, but nevertheless I want to tell you that you made a huge difference in my life this year. I have always admired your calm confident demeanour and what's more, I trust that you have good intentions towards your viewers. So when you recommended bullet journalling at the beginning of this year, I didn't dismiss the idea immediately. Because it was you and because you made it look like it was easy to do even for someone with zero artistic talent - I tried it. And I love it. It has given me so much more structure. My mind tends to be very scattered lately and my memory is getting worse with the years, so the journal helps a lot to remember and plan things. It feels so freeing to be able to just do your own thing and not have it be perfect. OK, so this is much longer than I wanted it to be. Just felt reminded after seeing your journal in this video and wanted to say THANKS! :-)
I'm reading 'Atomic Habits' by James Clear currently, and yes it's amazing! Especially the part about the plateau of latent potential, focussing on systems not goals, and identity. Thank you so much for the wonderful tips you've added ❤ and yes, environment has a huge effect on shaping our habits, that's so important to consider! Thanks for the pdf and everything you do ❣
this is the perfect time to think about the people we want to become and what habits would support us on the journey to becoming that version of our self. today is the new moon, the energy is that of planting seeds of our intentions so they can bloom over time. thank you for this practical guide to help facilitate the conversation i've been putting off with myself of the person i want to become. peace and love!
Your voice and the way you explain things are just calming. Love watching your videos cause you make me feel so calm and that, things are not that hard to do. Instead of the usual push push hustle hustle kinda vibe, you make things achievable, motivating but most importantly, the calm feeling. Oh and I love the outtakes at the end. Cause it shows that you too have those moments, just made it feel real. I'm planning on starting my youtube channel but still feel insecure to speak in front of camera, but your videos have been really inspiring and give me the motivation to keep going. Thank you so much. I'm blessed to have found this channel, to have found you :)
I read this book as well and loved it. I got to say watching the bloopers at the end makes me feel connected to you Sadia because it shows me that my favorite TH-camr is also a human being who can stumble and lose track of the thought as I do often! LOL Thak you!!
I got familiar with your channel when I was looking for a haircut tutorial on TH-cam. I got attracted to your lifestyle and started watching all your most-viewed videos (e.g. minimalism, Making good habits, bullet journal, time management and...). Your videos have changed the quality of my life... I tried to apply most of your tips/hacks in my daily life and now I feel more relieved, happy and hopeful than before... I don’t know how to thank you!❤️(I’m a 29-year-old engineering PhD student from 🇨🇦)
I have to say, I've been following for quite some times now, and the "new bloopers section" at the end always make my day! You are so adorable, hahaha Also, coincidence ? I JUST started listening to "Atomic Habits" two days ago (O_o) And I do agree, this is a fantastic audiobook!
Everything about your videos from your soothing voice, calm and natural surroundings, and genuine information makes the videos sink in so much better than other videos I’ve watched. Thanks for the amazing content! Much love!
Sadia, love this video. That part about making way huge goals is so much like me. I liked your suggestion of focusing on desired identity instead, definitely going to try it.
Came to this video 5 days ago, my life a mess. Got Atomic Habits on audible and started the habit of working out, eating right, and sleeping well. The rest of the day i did whatever i wanted. I kid you not, i feel like a changed person. Thank you Sadia
I have decided to watch/hear you speak daily...your voice has such a calming effect...feels like Yoga...wants me to calm down....relax & be a better person....you are gifted ♥️
Sadia, I am a huge fan of yours! Just wanted to pop on here to make some suggestions of how to grow your business. 1. A paperback cookbook with all of your fabulous recipes. 2. A wellness paperback daily journal with your beautifully constructed lists. Thank you!
PLEASE make more of these videos. I know there are tons of TH-camr who does these kinds of videos but there's something about her voice that just makes things stick to my brain. I discovered this channel few years ago in my second year of uni. I swear my grades improved just by watching couple of videos. I'm enjoying the recipe videos but misses productivity/motivational videos
"Consistency is better than perfection" and "you can't improve a habit if ot doesn't exist" are two quotes from the book that reasonated with me and have helped me immensely! Such a good read!!
I am such a big fan of you and all you do, Sadia. I started my own channel all about Afghan food inspired by you and it gives me so much joy. 🤗🤗 Any other Afghans here? Say hi 🙋♀️
@@ivacukic it really is! If you have never had it, you are in for a ride. Let me know what you think, when you get around to trying one of the many dishes. And thank you for subscribing, that means a lot to me. :-)
This is quickly becoming my favorite channel on TH-cam; and I just discover you guys yesterday. I feel calm and inspired after I watched one of your wonderfully positive videos and I'm exited to implement some great ideas you have given me. Thank you so so much💕
Thank you a lot for this eye-opener I didn’t know I was looking for! I am law student in the final semester before the exams and somehow lost my focus over the past few months... Studying law isn’t very rewarding so I kind of started to feel depressive more and more. So what I did to shift my mindset was to start doing exercises and yet I still struggle a lot to do it on a regular basis. I will try my very best to reward myself more often (as my current situation is not rewarding at all) by cooking a nice meal after a run for example. Also I told myself many times to read a book but I always did the mistakes you mentioned: I read a book most of the time while I am lying on the bed. At the same time this is also my favorite spot to watch TV. So instead of reading a book I always go for the remote control. Also I regularly leave my desk very untidy after a learning session. And looking at the mess always makes me feel uncomfortable. That’s also a reason why I started to skip learning sessions. I knew that some things are going wrong in my life, but I didnt know the reasons that made me feel like this until now! You literally changed my view on myself. I mean I just started to follow you a few weeks ago to perform better in the kitchen and to eat cleaner. I would never expect from a “Cooking Channel” on TH-cam to open my eyes and change my mind in so many ways in such a short period of time! Words can’t describe how thankful I am that our paths have crossed on this platform (and that I clicked the subscribe button). You are gifted young Lady. You have the gift to inspire people. You are a beautiful and kind human being and I wish you and your husband only the very very best. Best wishes from Germany keep up the great work! 😊
I love the way you edit your videos! Also you and Robin are adorable. There is something about seeing the way you two interact in videos... can’t describe it but it makes me smile. You seem so lovely and kind. Thank you for making a TH-cam channel and website that we can access. PUL is truly amazing!
To be honest, I'm tired of all this productivity pressure. "Wake up earlier", "be productive", "spend each moment of your life on doing something productive...". I definitely prefer to go with the flow, do what I need to do and not to think the way as if my day were a list of tasks to complete. And during my walks I prefer to listen to the birds rather than another audiobook about self development. No ofense Sadia, I love your work, blog and vlogs and I think you're a charming person, just this topic makes me feel sick 😘
"I have to" --> "I GET TO" 👍🏾 Having good habits in place really does free up mental energy that helps us to be effective in other areas of our lives. 💜💜
I have made some new habits during lockdown in India 🇮🇳, which I wanted to do from past few years , some of them are planting seeds and saplings 🌱 , doing 30-45 minutes workout 💪at home, and listening podcasts. Thank you sadia for let me know " How to propagate 🌱..... 🙂
I watched your bullet journal video because I was trying to begin bullet journaling and after that video definitely subscribed, and I came to this one. Your voice is so soothing that I can literally listen and watch your videos all day without doing anything. You are so gorgeous and amazing content, I wish I will be like you when I grow up!!! Every single time I watch your video it just seems to make my world less chaotic and toxic. I love you so so much and will be always supporting starting from now. FYI: I feel like you should also make a study tube, I love all your bujo and how to stay organize and time management videos!
Your book recommendations are very helpful, especially 'The Big Magic' by Elizabeth Gilbert. It helped me to gain a new perspective on my work. Can't wait to try 'Atomic Habits'! Thank you so much!
I've never come across such a channel before 💞😍 When I got here through recommendations I tried to just pass the video but watching it was my best decision, she's so much positive and happy that I felt that connection so both me and my love(fiance) both subscribed to the channel And atleast we don't regret it and neither will u dear reader Love from India ❤️
Thank you Sadia, what a great coincidence, I was actually scripting for a video all about wellbeing tips, and creating good healthy habits was one of the tips. Making self care and self love as part of our daily routine can really help clear our mind, which will in turn help clear our skin. Lots of love to you and Robin. Take care guys x
I must say that you are one of my favorite channels. You completely changed how I view food and health and all that. I learnt so much from you. I'm no vegan but you're the first person I've considered buying their e-book ( my mum was so gobsmacked when I told her I want to buy a book of recipes but yours is totally worth it ) , you made me learn how to cook, eat and live a productive and healthy life the way I've always dreamt of it, and most importantly enjoying it ( I used to find it hard if not impossible sometimes) Thank you so much. May God bless you. You're such a huge inspiration. Tons of love and gratefulness from Algeria 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I like the idea of " I get to..." instead of having to. I have started a yoga workout during this quarantine, funny how we are able to do more now, while being at home, I think its a great positive, and I look forward to it everyday. I love the bloopers at the end, you should do that more often. Thanks for the post.
"I have to" should be converted to "I want to" and not "I get to". Wanting to do something is far more better. This should come from within and not just by saying a few positive words. Anyway like your videos very much. Just watching your videos every time you post is a good habit. I get to listen to you.
My girlfriend is obsessed with this channel......I can see why. I just binge watched like 5 videos in a row. Really love the content. She'd be thrilled if I show her a reply from you :)
i've been watching your videos since the very beginning, and have always found you and your channel to be a huge inspiration. i love motivational / decluttering videos from you and it's great to see more!
You are the best.I can watch you all day every day. I just love you so much.I am been watching for you a long while. You bring positivity in every viewer's life even in these hard times.
Thank you for the tips! :) Will try to implement them as I tend to go to the extremes when it comes to creating new ones 😅 And was that just you and Robin working on this video?! I noticed absolutely zero decline in quality, everything is top-notch, as always. Good job, guys! P.S. I love your eye make up, it looks amazing! I am in a permanent state of silent bewilderment by people who are actually able to apply eye shadow properly 🤣
I like your recipe and cooking videos too but the videos where you talk about habits and mindful lifestyle are my favorite! they are sooo soothing and motivating ❤️
We had a baby a few months ago and it's been difficult to be as productive or establish new good habits as before, so this has been a perfect video for us, thank you Sadia! xx
My partner and I had just discussed trying to be even more healthy whilst we're both home full time at the moment and this video pops up in my feed. A super motivation boost. Thank you Sadia!!
Love this video! Thank you so much Sadia, for everything, really. I don’t know how my life would be without you, from cooking, eating healthy, journaling and now, healthy habits. Thank you for helping me become a better person.

Your voice is so relaxing and calming.

The most rewarding feeling is when your work becomes a habit. You just feel so fulfilled within yourself.
So so true!!!:) I finally have some everyday “tasks” that have turned into habits and it’s so much easier!!!:)

I read this book as well and loved it. I got to say watching the bloopers at the end makes me feel connected to you Sadia because it shows me that my favorite TH-camr is also a human being who can stumble and lose track of the thought as I do often! LOL
Thak you!!
You are so adorable, hahaha
Also, coincidence ? I JUST started listening to "Atomic Habits" two days ago (O_o) And I do agree, this is a fantastic audiobook!
Hehe, glad you're enjoying them :P
Everything about your videos from your soothing voice, calm and natural surroundings, and genuine information makes the videos sink in so much better than other videos I’ve watched. Thanks for the amazing content! Much love!
Sadia, love this video. That part about making way huge goals is so much like me. I liked your suggestion of focusing on desired identity instead, definitely going to try it.
So glad you enjoyed it, Amrita, thank you :)
Your voice, your smile, your clear eyes make me feel so calm, peacefull. I can hear you all day. You are inspire
I like this kind of videos more... Specially when there is Robin in it 😄
Me too ;)
Hope to see this kind of self improvement videos more in the future.. With Robin in it 😇😊
I like this kind of girl like you 🤔
😊❤️
Came to this video 5 days ago, my life a mess. Got Atomic Habits on audible and started the habit of working out, eating right, and sleeping well. The rest of the day i did whatever i wanted. I kid you not, i feel like a changed person. Thank you Sadia
I was just looking at your channel a few hours ago, wondering when you will upload and tadaaa!
Thank you!
Awesome ideas!
Love these ideas, especially #2!
@@HanneloreHaubentaucher I
I'd totally buy both
PLEASE make more of these videos.
I was just wishing today that PUL would release a video on something related to lifestyle and living better and here it is! 😁😍
I just always love the way you present these things in a simpler way
Omg i been procrastinating this whole day and this video is so needed right now!! I am about to watch it right now
"Consistency is better than perfection" and "you can't improve a habit if ot doesn't exist" are two quotes from the book that reasonated with me and have helped me immensely! Such a good read!!
I am such a big fan of you and all you do, Sadia. I started my own channel all about Afghan food inspired by you and it gives me so much joy. 🤗🤗 Any other Afghans here? Say hi 🙋♀️
Oooh, Afghan food sounds delicious, subscribed!
100% "I have to..." No lad, you *want* to.
100% "I need to..." No love, you're *choosing* to.
Agree. It’s the corporatation of life. Must be busy at all times.
Thanks for the posstive vibes Sadia.
Your words are really calming and soothing.
Love u loads... ❤
"I have to" --> "I GET TO" 👍🏾
Having good habits in place really does free up mental energy that helps us to be effective in other areas of our lives.
Ooooh such a good book! So glad you enjoyed that one :D
I also really loved “tiny habits” book. I read both in a week (audio books😊)
I’ve heard great things about big magic! I think that’s my next audio book! I just finished soulful simplicity and I LOVED it so much!
Heyy Sadia ur videos are so relaxing. It is like a soft warm sunshine after heavy rainfall.
I've never come across such a channel before 💞😍
When I got here through recommendations I tried to just pass the video but watching it was my best decision, she's so much positive and happy that I felt that connection so both me and my love(fiance) both subscribed to the channel
And atleast we don't regret it and neither will u dear reader
Love from India ❤️
I love your bloopers it makes me feel your contents seem more genuine. Thanks for sharing tips!😃
Another awesome video, Sadie! Mindset is key! Now I “get” to edit my videos!
I love your content!
thanks so much for keeping my spirits up :)
girl 3 minutes of your videos soothe my soul and remind me that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
super early!! love from Northern Ireland. you're helping motivate me through my doctoral dissertation :)
Ooooh all the best to you! :D
@@PickUpLimes Thank you!
Wow I like you baby
U
You radiates positivity, good spirit and pureness.
Oh my god, I needed this.
For the first time listening to these kind of advice, i actually feel motivated and like i could actually do this. Thank you so much 💛
I like the idea of " I get to..." instead of having to.
Hi girlfriend! :D
@@PickUpLimes OMG OMG OMG!!!!! .......Thank you soo much!!! She'll be thrilled!!❤️❤️❤️❤️

You are truly my inspiration in vegan food and productivity. Your recipes keep me healthy until now, especially during this covid-19
Never been so early here. Love your content, Sadia.😁
Same here. Such a nice quote about the habits. 😘
Me neither. 😂 I feel honored.
Both of you are literally couple goals ❤ the way you guys make each others life easier and lift each othet up is truly amazing

You are the best.I can watch you all day every day. I just love you so much.I am been watching for you a long while. You bring positivity in every viewer's life even in these hard times.
i just want her to have a podcast already :(
This is 100% my favourite channel to watch. When I need some motivation this is where I go!!
Thank you for the tips! :) Will try to implement them as I tend to go to the extremes when it comes to creating new ones 😅
And was that just you and Robin working on this video?! I noticed absolutely zero decline in quality, everything is top-notch, as always. Good job, guys!
P.S. I love your eye make up, it looks amazing! I am in a permanent state of silent bewilderment by people who are actually able to apply eye shadow properly 🤣
Your comment about applying eye makeup correctly cracked me up, I too am no good at that😂
Yup, it was the first video we've ever worked together on from start to finish! It was a shift for sure, we learned lots, but good fun :P
@@BecauseitMatters All I can say after years of trying is YUP 😂
I like your recipe and cooking videos too but the videos where you talk about habits and mindful lifestyle are my favorite! they are sooo soothing and motivating ❤️
I enjoy your content so much, totally inspired by you 😍🍑❤️
Me too!!!
Yay! Finally something more than just “drink your water, set alarms, write things down”. I love this approach to building good habits!
I love your channel so much and how you treat health and wellbeing as really multi-faceted.
Your smile in all your videos is really a source of inspiration and motivation :)
We had a baby a few months ago and it's been difficult to be as productive or establish new good habits as before, so this has been a perfect video for us, thank you Sadia! xx
CONGRATULATIONS
Love everything about Pick Up Limes! Thanks for all the hard work and information you share!!
I am the one who waits for new videos. And you are the person who makes me productive. Thanks.....
It’s amazing how I was having a lazy day that made me feel guilty and this video basically got me out of bed and on my feet! 🙏🏼
