My first day was yesterday! I made ten trips. I did everything you instructed. I provided water, candy, mints, and tissue. Checked smells and temperature. made $100 and I checked my rating. It's 5 Star bro. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Waze is great but always good to learn your city or town. Waze has let me down several times because they are late to update traffic. The best way to make more money with rideshare is to upgrade your vehicle, and most importantly, keep it clean! I upgraded my vehicle 6 months ago and have been making $2,000 more per month. Safe driving people, good luck
Don’t listen to the critics here about the way you present the material, like too long whatever. Be the way you are now because you are an expert at being you and what draws me to your channel is your personality. If you try to be different you won’t do it as well and be second guessing yourself. You talk fast so you get a lot more information packed into the video even if you repeat some things and by repeating some things it helps you to pull all the information out of your brain that you want to get across. People will be patient to hear everything you have to say when they realize you have and are giving away very valuable info! However, I don’t need patient to listen to you, because you are a joy to listen to. Keep up the good work! I am interested in getting started as an Uber driver. I am retired and am up all night, so I would probably start there, which maybe slower in generating money, but that’s ok, as long as I am learning all the technology and how to use it, which will be great when I’m doing the rush hours. I am a driver. I’ve always been a driver and I might as well make money doing it. I know all the traffic laws, and how to bend them. I take advantage of every driver who fails to take the right away - if they going to give it away, I’ll take it!
I love Waze! Especially as a Uber driver. I was notified of a major accident with standstill traffic. I was then able to pull up alternate routes, discuss with my riders and then continue on. They had a flight to catch and I certainly did not want them stuck in traffic! I received a 5 star review and a badge. 😎
Thank You ! Calvin you saved my ratings and helped my income. I been driving for two weeks and made alot of mistakes which affected my ratings. Today I used your advise, I double my income and drove with confidence using Waze. Once again thank you !
nope you just have to be in the right place at the right time which is working well in a way, theres a difference in a educated fool and a professional driver
I just got approved to be a driver for Uber and your videos have inspired me. Had no clue what or how to do this driving thing, now I know I'm driving with a purpose. Thank you sooooo much for your great advice. Will binge watch all your videos❤️❤️❤️
Why do these rideshare companies allow customers to force drivers to be "perfect" on every pickup for a lousy $10 or even less per hour. Do McDonald's customers get to rate their servers? Do taxi companies make customers rate their drivers? No, they don't cause I drove a cab for 5 years in LA county. Uber should completely scrap this stupid rating system. Either that or use a realistic system. In a standard bell curve setup, 3 would be average, 4 above average and 5 superior. In reality, a 5 star rating should be very rare. And why should a customer expect a free bottle of water for a $6 ride? That's positively insane. We're not driving limos, we driving normal everyday vehicles for very little money. And by the way, limos charge for their amenities. Uber may want their drivers to act like private chauffeurs to the rich, but in reality, they are nothing more than private taxis and expectations shouldn't be any different than taking a taxi, especially because it is cheaper. It's not reasonable to expect better treatment when you pay less. If I get the customer to his destination safely in a reasonable amount of time, that is ALL he/she should expect, and all the company should expect. You want more raise the freakin' prices!!
Thanks for your comment, but you have been doing UBER wrong I'm afraid. I recommend watching my Ultimate Uber Income video to elevate your mind. There is a TON of money out here. Here is the link - th-cam.com/video/hPh8nSHMo5M/w-d-xo.html
yeah. the ratings system is broken. also, the fact that taxis in my city cost more than a clean, nice vehicle with water and candy and shit, and theoretically a "peer" driving me, is silly. Shouldn't a "Private" car cost a little more than a standard taxi?
The world is changing. McDonalds may ask for ratings in the future if competition takes their market share. Uber is doing over 6 billion in annual revenue, taking market share from traditional cab drivers by adding a social element and technology to the equation and people don't have to become cab drivers to enter the game. And from a passenger perspective, people wanted to be treated with dignity and respect and have some say in the situation.
And that's why you're broke. I just started my first week of Lyft driving, and I make $28 hourly on a bad day (profits after buying can't and water that nobody takes). eliminate cheapness, laziness and your negative ass attitude and you'll make money at any job you take.
Man Calvin I tell you what I just signed up to become an Uber driver here in Wilmington, NC and your videos have been very influential and informative. I've watched some others and at first glance they can really turn you off from even wanting to leap out on faith with Uber. THANK YOU FOR THE BLESSING of all the inside scoop my brother. May God continue to bless you with your businesses!
I am on my second year with Uber. Because of your video I am going to try Waze and how you use it. I never liked Waze because I thought the "bubble with wheels" seemed childish and it was for teenagers of today.
Calvin, I have watched a few of your videos and I have got to say that you are an amazing, insightful teacher. You have literally made me money before I even started driving. Plus, I like the way you deliver your posts. You've got conviction, great knowledge and you don't talk to people like they are novices. So thank you brother for all of your videos....
I am brand new the Uber driver business. All the information you have provided in what few videos I have watched has been so very eye opening and very helpful for me when I get myself up and running. Thank you so much for making these videos Calvin.
i just want to say do your thang bro, you are by far on top of your game and your willingness to share is awesome, pay no mind to the haters, you know how there is always gonna be 3 kind of people its the nature of the beast, i love your style and delivery, keep doing what you do ,dont change a single thing
today was my first day, drove 239 miles, 5 fairs and 1 spoof wild goose chase.I an going to watch ALL your videos on this subject. Thank you.Fix, oh VA
using waze but there are couple issues with that app in Chicago. 1st most common issue ...it will take you to the alley behind the street you are suppose to pick up pax 50% of the time. With lots of one way streets in the city ...that's an issue. 2 ...it will drag you through every speed bump/stop sign infested little street because it calculated that it is maybe one minute faster than main road .....but it's not considering crawl pace you are moving from one speed bump to another ....not even sure if it is aware of stop signs ....3 issue, related to 2nd. Data is delayed and it often sees heavy traffic where clearly there is non ....
Drogos79 , THIS! Waze does NOT care about your brakes stopping for every stop sign at each little block, or the gas wasted getting back to speed. It saves you 30 seconds, by wasting all that gas, brake wear, and the annoyance of stop signs vs a slightly slower but smoother ride.
thank you at first I was scared to go out and drive but with your comment you'll become a better business person and a better driver encouraged me to go out thanks again
Just stumbled on your videos and wanted to thank you. Lost my job a few weeks ago here in Atlanta and Uber has saved me. Switching to Waze finally today now because of this great selling point. Appreciate you!
Calvin, thanks for providing the most sensible and best tips for Uber drivers that I have seen so far on TH-cam. You have a new subscriber. I'm looking forward to many more useful tips that I expect you will provide.
I've been using the Wayz app for two years and I agree it is an excellent, money making and time saving app! Thanks Calvin for the the tips. I haven't driven for Uber in over an year. Yesterday, I started driving again and made the unfortunate decision to use Uber's GPS and it literally sucked! Today, I'll use Wayz, so I can maximize my potential.
Tremendous value on your channel. The info about using the favorites was my most useful take-away. This information transfers easily for me doing LYFT in the NC Triangle & Triad Markets. Thanks Bro!
i always had qualms about waze but u explained it perfectly. thinking of being an uber driver & this is definitely the gps i would use. one question though how do i switch over from my uber info to waze?
That was really good info.. In your video i was able to : 1. Change my uber app to open waze on regular rides and pool 2. I was able to add favorite places ( genious) 3. Use the drop down waze to see what the next stop is. etc. Thanks ur the man!
Calvin, this Alvin in Nashville, TN.. Bruh you just changed my Uber life. I have been driving using the Uber navigation 👎🏾 thinking I had no other alternative. This video has given me priceless information that I will put to work immediately. Thank you
Thomas Bonn I'm starting in Boston soon. you have to ride the waves. start early in the morning for the commuters into the city then hang in the city then follow the wave of people back out. plus bar times, and any events would be great
I have a quick question do you keep on the sound of the navigation or just follow the instructions on screen with no sound?? cause when Bluetooth music is on it interrupts the music and not sure if people wanna hear that
I've used this app mostly for traveling to Texas for personal use but I used it yesterday I used it to help me get a passenger to the airport on time. It was a great tool to know about and my passenger appreciated my efforts with a generous tip.
I started driving Uber last week and watched this video last night. By the time the video was over, I was convinced and installed Waze last night. I used it for my first trip tonight and had to cancel the pick up because Waze was driving me in circles. I have never cancelled a pick up before and was disappointed to have to do it tonight. The second ride of the night Waze 'kinda' got me there, but thank God my passenger was going home and was able to navigate me there. It has been wrong on 3.5 out of 4 trips!! Uninstalling immediately!!
Thank you so much for this! I’ve been using WAZE for about 2 years now. I update, report, and all. And now since I’ve just signed up for Uber this is gold. We live near Newark airport NJ. One of the busiest airports in the country. And to top that i know my way a little around Newark. I’ll be heading there later! Thanks brother!!
I switched to Waze to tonight working in Washington DC. I don't even know why I started to use Uber one first Lol.Awesome Tips. Love your first video man treat it like a business. My first week driving like any business I started off mistakes but I'm getting hang of it now. I am I the only one? UBER would get more out are Partnership with more information before getting started.
YES. I only go no more then 3 to 5 minutes between ride request after dropping off a passenger. DC market is good especially suburbs Alexandria,Arlington Va / Bethesda Rockville Actually all over. Inbox for more details if interested. I will give pros and cons for DC area driving. Im starting a TH-cam channel for Uber/Lyft driving as well. UBER/LYFT DMV

As a new driver that doesn't have a lot of time, I appreciate the information that can save me time, build professionalism as well as maximize income. Thanks for doing what you do.
you're a natural in front of the camera, not easy to do, you also have some of the best info I have seen yet. Thank you for all you are doing. You have saved me hours and months of learning.
Thank you Calvin! You have offered more important information on how to make additional money than any other Uber driver!! I am considering this and will continue to watch your videos!!
UberEats driver here. I love your tip about saving favourites destinations, but Google Maps has all the features you mentioned, including real-time traffic information. Right?
Thanks for your knowledge. I am a new Uber driver while I am looking for a job. I was doing the complete opposite of what you teach in your videos. You are on point and very honest and generous for sharing valuable info.
Not to sound snide, but are you looking at the sidebar? I'm seeing about 10 other drivers with packed channels. Most of them lack some relevance, because they are (mostly) drivers from L.A., which obviously has its own challenges that are exclusive to L.A..
To simple driver: Google maps also gives you the distance and eta towards your destination, plus it recalculates fastest route automatically and shows the driver. These have been in place before waze was even created. Granted, you don't have the social function but Google maps shows you traffic jams through the color of the route...dark red means heavy jam. Google maps also show you route preview and is available in all countries. Google maps also has home and work plus favourites icons. Even though waze has the social function, it's not practical for drivers to be texting while driving, plus most of the time, their phones are attached to the car mount so it's not going to be easy to text with two hands or take pictures. The best extra that waze has over goggle maps is that it shows traffic cameras which is essential for all drivers. Thanks for doing this video dude!
Dude, I'm just about to start driving for Uber in August or so and I just found your channel and I gotta say this is some QUALITY information. Boss level. Can't wait to watch the rest of your stuff
Genius 👍 Why would anybody thumbs down this? Oh, because they are too lazy to watch it the entire way through… Thank you for taking the time.. Not having ads.. And being downright genius🙏👌🤗🤩 Good job and thank you again for sharing👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That was excellent! And, its not about playing with the app. Its about being ready, prepared when you hit the street! Thank you so much for this video!
Key word...water hole. I got it! I'm going to check my surrounding counties and locate the shopping plazas, concert arenas, & airports. I'm in Northern VA. Thank you!
GutterPup Adventures why does uber fight over their trips here in Springfield mo the drivers play taxis get cash for fare if the card is 50 the drive tells them if they got cash they do it for 40dollars right on uber
This is definitely the best navigation system to use! All these social updates do help you advert traffic and keep your clients very, very happy. Always receive a high rating when this saves my client time!

While waze's social function is cool, I find the app less stable than Google maps. Sometimes the loading of the app can have glitches. Getting passengers to wait even half a minute is not going to get you five stars mates.
Once again. YOU CANNOT make an extra $600 a week using Google Maps. WAZE is just okay when it comes to navigation, but it's superior in the other things that make Uber drivers MONEY. You can use Google and I'll keep taking in Crazy money from WAZE. You now have a REAL choice.
I'm confused why u don't use Google Maps. That basically has the same features as this Waze app. Favorites, route preview, etc. Or does iPhones not have Google maps?
Google Maps does NOT have the REAL features from WAZE that make money. If you didn't get that from this video you just totally missed it. More money for those that get it everyday though.
The Simple Driver You didn't mention the Gas Station feature that gives you different prices that also save you money when you need to fill up. Then you can save in your favorites and go there and check along the route to see if there are any lower gas prices.
Waze basically has a live feed with social interactions. I do like how the app does come with real live time with traffic movement. You can see a lot of spotting of police, accidents, police, traffic flow, the app apprehends the traffic ahead and can deter you to take the next shortest route. Google Maps is usually my go to with traveling in general but it does not have the great live features of Waze. I have tried to use the default Maps and that's just horrible. Waze brings you more a connection with a community who watches the road and reports and comments whatever is happening around the area you are in. It really is a life saver sometimes.
Agreed, the social integration (calendar & FB Events) is a goldmine. Skip to the end of the video @chrissie Pie, that's where the real tips exclusive to Waze tips are.
The biggest feature I love about Waze is that when it directs you, it would take in the consideration the certain times on specific streets that you can't turn and so it would take you on the closest permitted turn to avoid getting a violation and it would save you time as well. I don't know if google maps could do that, can anybody confirm? Thanks
Great tips!! Thank you so much, I'm guilty of driving around aimlessly after a drop off, well not anymore now that I know how to save locations to my favorites!!
I have been using waze for a while, it is the best. I have just started with uber and I am happy to view your video to get some inside tips on earing money. I have subscribe to your channel and I will be viewing your video often. You have given me some great tips to do. I am new in the state of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have visited Vegas for many years the strip and downtown, but the rest of the town, I don't know well. So your tips are really good for me to follow. Keep up the good work and you are a five star with me.
Bro you're so smart, it hurts me that you do this for a living.. thanks for the video, though.. I'm about to do uber&bolt driver as a side hustle to support my family. All the best, dude!
Thanks for your comment Miracle. You can't build a proper connection with flyby information. I teach and engage my viewers so they can digest the information. Sometimes that requires repeating the information in a slightly different way.
I will start by saying I am only an Uber driver on the side but I definitely think all the information you are providing is amazingly helpful and insightful. Super cool to see you that are willing to share the success you have figured out with your Ubering.
I just move to Austell GA from Virginia and just signed up for uber earlier this week. I'm still waiting for it to get approved so I can start. I'm hoping atl make good money
Awesome vid man. Something to add - while the Waze app might be the best for predicting traffic patterns and saving you precious time, I don't like how it doesn't automatically show your saved favorites on the map. For example, if I just dropped someone off and am unfamiliar with the part of town I'm in (I drive in Philly), there's a good chance that one of my "favorites" could be just a few blocks away from me and I might not even know it. What I do is take all my favorites and save them in Waze AND google maps, because google maps is the only navigation app I know of that permanently displays your "saved" (favorited) locations as gold stars on the map - even when you're not navigating to them. So when I drop someone off I can just quickly open the google maps app and see the closest gold star (favorite) next to me, and then navigate to it in waze.
ralph gibbons Using a Bluetooth audio earpiece will help with audio cues. Preview the route also whenever there is a brief stop in traffic or before the ride to anticipate how many turns you will make. Also practice navigating with audio only whenever you are done or not taking any trips at the time. I always turn the screen off audio only, whenever I do not have a passenger. That way as you navigate to hotspots you learn the routes without looking at the navigation. So whenever you do have a passenger, screen off the whole ride, only back on to end the ride, you are a 5 star driver. That will take a little time to develop, unless you are or used to be a cabbie.
Great video! I downloaded Waze but couldn't figure out how to use it fully. I definitely have a better understanding now. When you take a passenger from the airport to their destination, do you stay online? Or wait until you get back to the airport before going online?
Depends, I call that dead heading back to the Airport if you go offline. It has advantages and disadvantages. If you want GUARANTEED airport money you will have to go offline otherwise you will get a call on your way back 8 out of 10 times.
I just downloaded the Uber app today and thought I would check out some do's and don'ts before I started. I have not even started driving yet and I feel that your videos have saved me a lot of wasted future time. I will definitely be planning my routes before going out. "Drive with a purpose". Still waiting on Ubers approval!!!
Al there is a reason that my Channel has 13K Subs in a couple of months. There is a difference between TEACHING and TELLING. I speak to the majority and not a subset of people Channel hopping. Also, there is a major SEO play involved. In addition to this there is LSI. I just gave you some golden nuggets for creating a successful TH-cam Channel.
The Simple Driver My only issue is that I DONT like channel hopping I want to watch. You fill in the gap for fluency and sharing value knowledge, however I want to see so many of your vids and a few others that it would take so long! not to criticize you in fact I respect your enthusiasm so I can appreciate the time it takes to digest the most useful bits and pieces.
Your information is cool but you take so long to make a point. Plus you say the same thing for 5 minutes before even explaining what you're trying to get to.
Teaching is a VERY different thing from telling. If you have ever lectured or coached anyone you know this is the only method you can use to TEACH. Otherwise you are just telling and that doesn't help anyone.
The Simple Driver Yes, from a family of mostly teachers and business owners you are 100% correct . Keep on track and enjoy the pleasant approach in communicating . Dax
First video of yours I saw. It was the most informative video I have ever saw on TH-cam. You did not just scratch the surface you went in depth you had scenarios great job keep up the good work as soon as I hit send on this message I am going to subscribe
Sir, you are wasting your time with this, you have both the drive and the ability to be your own business owner.... may i suggest starting a local taxi company? you already know the area better than anyone, you can suggest places for a good time too. Or you could have an app, or maybe a website may be better. for your local area made that helps people decide where to go, based on your research, with ads being your revenue source, ( subtle header and footer ads, no popups)
I NEVER waste time Sean. It's obvious that you have NOT watched all my videos. I own 3 businesses outside of Uber. As far as websites I have those too. You may want to watch the following videos. 1. th-cam.com/video/hPh8nSHMo5M/w-d-xo.html (6 Ways to Get Paid) 2. th-cam.com/video/b5TLhPGfoZc/w-d-xo.html (Why Websites are worth $10's of thousands)
Terrible comment. Let me help you out. You totally missed it. This is NOT a turn by turn comparison video. I literally showed you how to increase your income by $800 a month in this video using WAZE. ***UPDATE*** This technique has now increased to $600 a week, YEAH, $2,400 a month. I DARE you not to WATCH the video showing you how WAZE does that | th-cam.com/video/XEDDPXyeDck/w-d-xo.html You are WELCOME!
Great Video!!! Prep work for my first week in Orlando now includes add the following to WAZE as favorites: Best Rated - Downtown hotels, Disney Hotels, International drive eateries, Convention Center etc...
damn you are a hustla!! I applaud you! Came over from your 10 things a Uber driver needs. Thank you for inspiring me to think outside the box and take my Ridesharing experience to a whole another level! Making youtube videos like this and helping other drivers while making money is super intelligent. Good for you man!!
Thanks for the great vid again, I've just uploaded waze with the madea voice and im loving it. Now to sync it with the uber emails. Great advice thanks. I've been doing this for a while and never thought about it quite that way.
Uber Lady Baltimore Great for getting to Boost and areas where you anticipate good surge. Try Stubhub (an Uber partner, which gives free Uber rides to event goers) and Eventbrite, using Waze trip planning along with it to never miss a big event. Surges are almost guaranteed at the end of events advertised on StubHub, at least in my city. Usually always X rides. Within 20 miles going to and 10-20 miles coming back during a surge. Planned drives is a huge money making feature with Waze.
Excellent info.!! My first night was yesterday and I was trying to use the ridiculous Uber navigation. If it hadn't been for my car navigation I would have been lost most of the night.. I am going to try Waze.. Thank you!!
I had a 5 star rating my first week. But I believe because of missed turns because of the navigation app I'm now 4.85 . Thank you for Waze. I hope to get back to at least 4.95 rating
My first day was yesterday! I made ten trips. I did everything you instructed. I provided water, candy, mints, and tissue. Checked smells and temperature. made $100 and I checked my rating. It's 5 Star bro. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
no need for all that extra. still make money
Where do you live? I'm curious if you need to live in a high-traffic area to make good money with Uber or Lyft
dcedws.
LA. I'm not spending extra money on water gum etc. I'm not a store.
His tips are great but I'm not buying water and gum
Waze is great but always good to learn your city or town. Waze has let me down several times because they are late to update traffic. The best way to make more money with rideshare is to upgrade your vehicle, and most importantly, keep it clean!

I can't believe you don't have more views, but than again I am so glad only 43,000 other drivers have this information! Thanx
I don't care how long vids is.... ALOT of GOOD INFO
Dude that app is the same as Google's
Calvin, I have watched a few of your videos and I have got to say that you are an amazing, insightful teacher. You have literally made me money before I even started driving. Plus, I like the way you deliver your posts. You've got conviction, great knowledge and you don't talk to people like they are novices. So thank you brother for all of your videos....
Thanks for the compliment Richard.
I rather use Google maps it's better for me
I am brand new the Uber driver business.
1st
most common issue ...it will take you to the alley behind the street you
are suppose to pick up pax 50% of the time. With lots of one way
streets in the city ...that's an issue. 2 ...it will drag you through
every speed bump/stop sign infested little street because it calculated
that it is maybe one minute faster than main road .....but it's not
considering crawl pace you are moving from one speed bump to another
....not even sure if it is aware of stop signs ....3 issue, related to
2nd. Data is delayed and it often sees heavy traffic where clearly there
is non ....
This man here is dailed in x 5 with the caring and sharing to boost your Uber driving everyone. This is goal for you !
Thank you for being generous enough to post all this valuable information.
thank you at first I was scared to go out and drive but with your comment you'll become a better business person and a better driver encouraged me to go out thanks again
Calvin thanks a lot ...just started doing Uber and your videos are in the money. Keep it up bro.
Just stumbled on your videos and wanted to thank you. Lost my job a few weeks ago here in Atlanta and Uber has saved me. Switching to Waze finally today now because of this great selling point. Appreciate you!
Glad I could help Mark.
Hi Calvin, I love how passionately you articulate the WAZE app and it's benefits for Uber drivers. Thank you for the info!
No Problem. Glad you got what you needed out of it.
About to start driving here soon. I had no idea what to do. This man just helped me so much. I’m glad I watched the whole 21 minutes holy shit
Thanks Bro!
I downloaded Waze this morning and I'm using it now. It works great and I get a compliment on it from a rider. Thanks for the videos!
i always had qualms about waze but u explained it perfectly. thinking of being an uber driver & this is definitely the gps i would use. one question though how do i switch over from my uber info to waze?
That was really good info.. In your video i was able to : 1. Change my uber app to open waze on regular rides and pool 2. I was able to add favorite places ( genious) 3. Use the drop down waze to see what the next stop is. etc. Thanks ur the man!
I have no interest in being an Uber driver but stumbled across your video. So engaging and great tips! Smart guy, you'll do well!
Calvin, this Alvin in Nashville, TN.. Bruh you just changed my Uber life. I have been driving using the Uber navigation 👎🏾 thinking I had no other alternative. This video has given me priceless information that I will put to work immediately. Thank you
I'm averaging 32/hr here in Boston...the uber navi is just useless, I use waze 100% of the time
J Thomas I'm also in Boston and just started, do you have any tips for a Boston driver? should always do in city or outside cities
Thomas Bonn I'm starting in Boston soon. you have to ride the waves. start early in the morning for the commuters into the city then hang in the city then follow the wave of people back out. plus bar times, and any events would be great
Thomas Bonn get up early and I mean early I get up at 3 am get couple rides to airport and hustle on the morning commute hours
just started last week and been doing good. I do it part time because also have a full time job but been averaging 25-34 an hour.
I have had the same problems with waze,I have a iphone?
The first night I used it took me through an alley to the back of somebodys home not a ideal expereince
I agree. Though most of my driving is in Washington DC; Red light and speed cameras everywhere. Why Iuse Waze
Is DC a good market or are there too many cabs?
YES. I only go no more then 3 to 5 minutes between ride request after dropping off a passenger. DC market is good especially suburbs Alexandria,Arlington Va / Bethesda Rockville
Actually all over. Use my lyft Promo code ERIK927514 or Uber code ERIKL553UE
If you live in Va make sure to get a TNC registration its free. Its just a requirement VA has for share drivers.

Solid. Absolutely solid. Some of the best advice I've ever seen. Thanks for making this video man.
Literally just starting Uber. Haven’t even drove yet cause I’m doing my research. Bro...this is dope! I will retain & use this knowledge!!! 🙏🙏🙏
I knew about some of waze, but thank you! Another Uber driver. =)
you're a natural in front of the camera, not easy to do, you also have some of the best info I have seen yet. Thank you for all you are doing. You have saved me hours and months of learning.
Thanks. Glad I could help.
Thanks for the Tips! I really enjoy your videos. Is there a way to not accept uber pool rides without getting a bad rating?
Thank you Calvin! You have offered more important information on how to make additional money than any other Uber driver!! I am considering this and will continue to watch your videos!!
UberEats driver here. I love your tip about saving favourites destinations, but Google Maps has all the features you mentioned, including real-time traffic information. Right?
Thanks for your knowledge. I am a new Uber driver while I am looking for a job. I was doing the complete opposite of what you teach in your videos. You are on point and very honest and generous for sharing valuable info.
damn very helpful brother. keep up the vids. not many uber drivers give away their tips and tricks for free.
The best advice ever! =)
+Rusty Wallace
"U momma?" You don't know how to talk right Rusty? Looks like your mother failed you 😂 Wow what a idiot
Dude, I'm just about to start driving for Uber in August or so and I just found your channel and I gotta say this is some QUALITY information. Boss level. Can't wait to watch the rest of your stuff
Drekavac X this is all basic information
Fantastic video with some great info.
Genius 👍
Why would anybody thumbs down this?
Oh, because they are too lazy to watch it the entire way through…
Thank you for taking the time..
Not having ads..
And being downright genius🙏👌🤗🤩
Good job and thank you again for sharing👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Just signed up on UBER using your referral. Hope you get your bonus
The info starting around the 18-minute mark to navigate out of neighborhoods is very valuable. Thank you.
Great ideas thank you
I don't even drive for Uber but I watch your videos! Great content and very entrepreneurial centered!
you are generous man
That was excellent! And, its not about playing with the app. Its about being ready, prepared when you hit the street! Thank you so much for this video!
Nothing better than Google Map @GoogleMap only will be always become first choice
Key word...water hole. I got it! I'm going to check my surrounding counties and locate the shopping plazas, concert arenas, & airports. I'm in Northern VA. Thank you!
I love your channel!
NaTasha C me2! LOL
@ TheSimple Driver
Awesome video, I love all your tips and techniques! When are you going to post some more??😃
Thanks.
Thank you man! You are fantastic, serious about what you do and entertaining!

Everything from 14 minutes on is gold! Big ups!
thanks a bunch.....awesome info
It's my FIRST time on your page... I'm a oklahoma City Uber driver... Just want to say thanks for sharing your knowledge to help others
I'm trying Waze out... I find the iPhone map (via Siri) guides me pretty well. Granted doesn't have the social features.
This guy sounds smart...he seems like a man that enjoys his craft whatever it is at that time, perfects it, he's taking ownership..I like it.
Thank you, your video was very helpful
I have been using waze for a while, it is the best. I have just started with uber and I am happy to view your video to get some inside tips on earing money. I have subscribe to your channel and I will be viewing your video often. You have given me some great tips to do. I am new in the state of Nevada, Las Vegas. I have visited Vegas for many years the strip and downtown, but the rest of the town, I don't know well. So your tips are really good for me to follow.
Keep up the good work and you are a five star with me.
where do you get that Uber shirt? Looks nice!
Ebay :-)
The Simple Driver You can make extra money by referral to Ebay with that particular product, right?
Thomas Owusu-Abayie u
I just started..is it true that we cant see where the drop off location is before we pick up the customer??
xcprodigycx
That is true you can't see the drop off until you accept the ride. it kinda sucks at times.
Bro you're so smart, it hurts me that you do this for a living.. thanks for the video, though.. I'm about to do uber&bolt driver as a side hustle to support my family. All the best, dude!
thanks for the tutorial, but I wish you would have gotten to the point z little sooner. ijs
Thanks for your comment Miracle.
You can't build a proper connection with flyby information. I teach and engage my viewers so they can digest the information. Sometimes that requires repeating the information in a slightly different way.
TheSimple Driver what's the best way to find multiple spots in each city?
Right on!
I will start by saying I am only an Uber driver on the side but I definitely think all the information you are providing is amazingly helpful and insightful. Super cool to see you that are willing to share the success you have figured out with your Ubering.
Oh and I must say that drop down preview menu on Waze saved my ass so much. Especially when you can expect to merge quickly between turns.
I just move to Austell GA from Virginia and just signed up for uber earlier this week. I'm still waiting for it to get approved so I can start. I'm hoping atl make good money
Hell yeah it makes good money lol. Heard the drivers in ATL pretty crazy though
I understand WAZE is good, I just think it is to distracting while driving. How safe is it really trying to drive and seeing all the updates?
ralph gibbons Using a Bluetooth audio earpiece will help with audio cues.
This was an ad for Waze. This vid also doesn't work in 2019.
I just downloaded the Uber app today and thought I would check out some do's and don'ts before I started. I have not even started driving yet and I feel that your videos have saved me a lot of wasted future time. I will definitely be planning my routes before going out. "Drive with a purpose". Still waiting on Ubers approval!!!
waze is so buggy for me. It is always like 10 seconds behind my actual location.
Sorry to hear that. Works like a charm for me. Could be a service provider issue, data plan or cellphone operating system issue. I use an iPhone.
when the app works well ,it's good. but sometimes it's go crazy....don't know what is the issue, I use Samsung s7
kenny see Samsung have crap GPS, it's common knowledge.
thanks Calvin great information I live in vegas and I am going to do uber soon you just helped me get better before I even start
you could have handled this in much less time. People tend to look at Videos that are high in content but much shorter.
Al Sadler I totally agree
The Simple Driver My only issue is that I DONT like channel hopping I want to watch. You fill in the gap for fluency and sharing value knowledge, however I want to see so many of your vids and a few others that it would take so long! not to criticize you in fact I respect your enthusiasm so I can appreciate the time it takes to digest the most useful bits and pieces.
In the video settings you all can find playback control. That’s what I use to cut the video time almost in half
If you don't have the time to learn and be patient - don't watch. I watched and playlisted. He is a good teacher.
Dax
The Simple Driver plus repetition is the mother of all learning. Love your videos Calvin
Uber driver in Hawaii
Myoung Kim what island do you live on? I used to live on Oahu
1. th-cam.com/video/hPh8nSHMo5M/w-d-xo.html (6 Ways to Get Paid)
2. th-cam.com/video/b5TLhPGfoZc/w-d-xo.html (Why Websites are worth $10's of thousands)
Sorry about that! No i have not seen your other videos, Glad to see you're making the most out of your abilities.
The Simple Driver
Thanks, Calvin! New to driving for Uber and this make me feel better! You're wise and generous. Keep makin' that money ☆☆☆☆☆
non of things you said will make you Xtra. you can use Google map and getting better result. Your video is just waste of time
Terrible comment. Let me help you out. You totally missed it. This is NOT a turn by turn comparison video. I literally showed you how to increase your income by $800 a month in this video using WAZE. ***UPDATE*** This technique has now increased to $600 a week, YEAH, $2,400 a month. I DARE you not to WATCH the video showing you how WAZE does that | th-cam.com/video/XEDDPXyeDck/w-d-xo.html
You are WELCOME!
*at least 10-20 miles
Excellent info.!! My first night was yesterday and I was trying to use the ridiculous Uber navigation. If it hadn't been for my car navigation I would have been lost most of the night.. I am going to try Waze.. Thank you!!
I had a 5 star rating my first week. But I believe because of missed turns because of the navigation app I'm now 4.85 . Thank you for Waze. I hope to get back to at least 4.95 rating
