most schools in korea have a jjang. Jjang is the title for the best fighter in the school. the best fighters will challenge each other to see whos the jjang. sometimes the jjang or their underlings will do the bullying. which you will see in other kdramas. the kind of people that do bullying they will call iljin.

Indeed, the subtitles seem to have missed a zero. 300,000 Korean Won is roughly equivalent to 300 US Dollars.
