Matthew, you intone so very well that it is a pleasure listening to you. Your descriptions and explanations are easy to understand and you really seem to know what you are doing! Would you please do a pepperpot recipe if you haven't done so already? You also do not use an excessive amount of herbs and spices, which I like. Keep up the great work!

Hi Mathew, love your cooking techniques. I just tried your recipe today for plait bread and the only thing I didn't have was crisco, so I used 2 tablespoons of "Kelapo Ghee". It came out so soft and the texture was just perfect! This recipe is definitely a keeper. Thank you so much!

      Hi again Chef Mathew!
I wanted to give an update to my first comment. I only had rapid rise yeast, so I mixed all the other ingredients, then added half a pack of the DRY rapid rise yeast (1 teaspoon) to the mix and this time I used 1 tablespoon of ghee instead of 2, and warm water to form dough. Then after kneeding just the same as before, I made my plait and let it sit for about an hour and baked for the same 25 mins at 350*. It came out perfect and no different than the first way. I read that you do not have to proof rapid rise yeast (only active dry) nor let rise two times which saved a little time for if you're in a rush. Thank you again!
