Hi Jehan, can you please give a break down how to make a double recipe, to make a bigger Doug.. I try doubling the recipe by adding double the amount of yeast and other dry ingredients along with the wet, but the bread failed.. It did not rise and it came out very hard.. I also had to add additional water when I kneading the dough because even tho I double the wet ingredients, it wasn't enough, so I had to add additional water to kneed it.. Please advise.. Tks very much.. P. S I Try the tennis roll recipe and it came out amazing.. Tks
Saveeta, I rarely double recipes. Believe it or not, not all recipes can simply be doubled...I've had both success and failures when doing so, so I usually don't double recipes. I make small batches instead.

I made this twice. The first time I put too much yeast (3 packets). The second time, it was perfect! I used 1 pack of the Fleischmanns active dry yeast and followed the recipe and the bread came out nice and soft. Thank you!!! This was great with pepperpot for Christmas.
