I’m blown away. Best track guides I’ve seen yet. Hopefully this’ll help me with learning all the tracks in the game. I’m still rather new at sim racing and brands hatch is the only track i can drive for now.
Great vid, awesome track guide and lap analysis. Really appreciated you pointing out all of your braking points each time, I have been braking way too early at the cutting
Great guide again. Loving the way you stop the video, explain it then go back and replay each bit of the track in stages. Really well put together and you explain it all really well (although you do sound a bit like Ricky Gervais at times). These are really helping me learn the tracks. Thank you!!
@Zermatt. Fantastic guide. I watch over and over. As you were saying full throttle up the mountain. That is my challenge. I’m in the Porsche GT3 and trying stay in full throttle and I have to lift. I’ll keep trying early turning in apex. However I believe my setup might not be quite correct.
Thanks! Yeah there's certainly a confidence boost if you go through there as well, key corner for me is the left hand hairpin before the main mountain section as it determins your momentum all the way up the hill. Then keeping that through the two fast lefts, a lot of people turn in too late / stay too wide there.
Erm good question. Hope and the force? Hopefully all of them aren’t going but I’m sure there’s some minor tire markings on the ground. Sorry can’t be more specific think it becomes more like feel then!
I run almost similar line, similar gear and similar braking point in the same car but 5 seconds slower. The only thing is that i lift a tiny bit in the place where you go full throttle.
I would say there's probably a difference in apex speed and how early getting to full power is MASSIVE on ACC and also how clean that power is, how straight your steering is....
@@Zermatt1 are you referring to how early on power AFTER apex? Because i notice that if i am already on power before apex, that already indicates too early braking and too slow entry speed. Is that right?
Without watching i would guess that that means you are not letting the car rotate enough on the apex, and when you apply the power... you can't apply it 100% becuase you'll understeer wide, I'd suggest maybe slightly later braking, not much, and being more patient on the apex.
Great video! Thank you for those tips, hope to beat my record (2:01) with those knowledge. Don’t you mind if I will use it as guide on my stream and translate it to Russian, during the stream? (Just cause mostly my viewers do not understand English so good enough). In any case - thank you ;)
Hey Luke, I’ll be releasing the setup after the 12hr Bathurst RCI on Oct 17th on Setsbase.com - if you haven’t had a look there I’ll be adding more and more over the next few weeks!
@@luke_rr4474 Totally forgot to upload it didn't I.... just done it now, it needs to be approved so should be on there in the next 2/3 days. Sorry for the delay!
Start with one section or even one corner and don't worry about the rest, trust the process, don't be afraid to go backwards (not on the track..) to go forwards... all that good stuff I bang on about the whole time :)

Hey man thanks for the kind words - lots of stuff to get your teeth into!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for the kind words..!

Nothing wrong with a bit of Ricky! Cheers
Well done!!!
Helpful, yes. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!

very good video and explanation,It is perfectly clear that you made an effort, thank you!!.
Great guide, as always! The top of the mountain is like Sector 1 at Suzuka; almost all your time is lost or gained there.

Well done. Tough track! I can't quite nail it but I'm enjoying trying
You can do it!
Great Video. Thank you. Helps me to find some tens 😀👍
Glad to help! Let me know if you catch any of the other guides and some of the on-track improvements you get! always keen to hear.
@@Zermatt1 thank you 😀
OMG I'm doing a 2.20 around here, I guess I have allot to learn. It would be nice if setting up the car was not so difficult.
Great guide. If the boards are gone in the chase where´s your braking point ? Thank you.

@@Zermatt1 That´s true. i use the distance to the tree and billboard but it´s not very precise. thanks.
Great guide! Got yourself a sub
Welcome aboard!

Oh snap its PpR
This was helpful in letting me know how terrible I am 🙂🙃🙂 Awesome lap
Hopefully some areas where you can improve too 👍
@@Zermatt1 The whole circuit area lol. I'm gonna get on tonight and try to get in the 3's for the first time 🙂

I need gt3 kyalami track guide. Plz
Will work on it!
@Emrys Kim it's up if you haven't seen it for GT3 and a GT4 one coming this Friday as well!
Those bumps seem to be random, they do not relate to the real track which I have driven.
