This format (one big idea for each corner) is both useful and easy enough to recall. I also like that it assumes you have some familiarity with the circuit and you want to "master it", not learn it for the first time. Please have Emily do more.
As an Aussie I really enjoy driving Bathurst on ACC, it currently sits second on my list of most driven tracks, Nords is slightly ahead. Both great tracks, really rewarding when you get either of them right. I will have to watch this again to improve my lap times. Great video.
Yay for Aussie rep! :) love this track, but getting the margins right on every corner and using all available space is so hard to learn. Prepare to wreck, lots. Haha
Excellent video. Thank you. Have you a set up page for V8 supercars? I’m new to sim. 2013 super car I can only manage 2:12 times. I need your help…From a fellow Australian
It's not that I don't like this track. It's the track that doesn't like me ... Thank for the advice, I'll try to apply next time I'll find the guts to drive on this one !
Honestly, for years I've absolutely avoided learning this track, because the few times I've driven around it have absolutely terrified me to the point of questioning why anyone would ever be stupid enough to have an actual race here. It would be safer and less painful to just put a loaded gun to your head and bounce around. I can't even imagine racing here on a wet track. But, I've decided it's finally time for me to learn it, but definitely never driving it in those supercars. I can't even drive around Watkins Glenn on the straight without losing the ass end every time I breathe on the throttle with the wheel turned slightly, so I'd have to be completely out of my mind to drive it around here.
I don't know whether it is laser scanned or not, but I reckon that the ams2 version of bathurst is well done too... Great video and thanks for the advices
I was winning the Nürburgring Endurance LFM race yesterday in the GT4 class (rF2) and IMO Bathurst is more difficult not to suck, at least in sim racing. Nordschleife has more corners, so takes a while to learn, but once you mastered it, it's almost easy. What makes if difficult in real life is the weather. I'm living just a couple of kilometres away from it, but in a far more pleasant climate zone, at least 3° C warmer and mostly dry. At the Nürburgring it's raining about 235 days per year and often just on parts of the track. But the high track temps at Bathurst are also challenging with even less room for errors in many corners. Driving one lap is not the problem, but handling the tyre wear. Nordschleife is quite tyre friendly even in hot weather.
@@Leynad778 I live near Koblenz and I was on the track myself a couple times and I saw the crashes on Carfriday. And you can easily even drift Bathurst trough on gt Sport, so it's not that difficult.
@@cheddar_6614 I agree with Anthony. The Nordschliefe is a challenge, but there is a lot of run off. Mt Panorama is essentially 60% street track with 40% where there is a bit of run off. The top of the mountain is "balls to the wall" driving at its best. It separates the men from the boys and women from the girls.
@@fullsendmotorsports77 As I said, the Nordschleife is way longer, and therefore harder to remember, you can crash any minute because you forgot about 1 corner, and since the runoff is so short, you will most likely hit something, I am not saying that Mount Panorama isnt hard, but Nordschleife is definately the hardest tracks of all
I'm very committed. I hit every wall.
One of the best tracks to meet Barry R.
Scot Chegg agrees

Emily's dry humour at a Top Gun reference was... priceless. Good one mate.
It's a bloody great track and I love driving round it in everything from the Skippy to the Radical. It suits so many car types.
People say that the Nordschleife is the place to test cars. For me, it’s always Bathurst. Thanks for the tips! 👍🏻
Seeing Emily on screen just makes my day a lot better.
Super video, really appreciate the amount of detail and research you put in when putting this all together.
What an outstanding presentation. Emily, you have nailed it perfectly for Bathurst. Thank you.
Bathurst, the ozzie Nordschleife! Emily you've provided an awesome guide here
What about the AMS 2 version?
Very useful video. Probably the hardest track I know of and enjoy racing around.
This is a good guide. I like all the little details.
Thanks Emree! Love the pro tip rally jump.... but seriously good tips.
Thanks, Emily! I'll definitely refer to this when I'm next running The Mountain.
I’m Australian too I know the track with my brother really good on forza Motorsport 6
Like the ring, once you gel with it you have the best time. A great guide, cheers Em and Overtake.
I always enjoy your videos. ❤
Well done. and thank you

Not aware of a setup, but you could ask our community in the overtake.gg forums or on Discord! -Michel
really liked this one my suggestion for the next one would be Laguna Seca

Thanks Emily. Great track guide. I will be using this information for the upcoming LFM GT3 race.
AMS2 is great!! Thats the best version
love the supercar focus. training for B'hurst 1000 next month and this was super useful 💯
Great job Emily!
One of my favourite tracks!
Have you tried the ams2 version? Brilliant tips BTW
Ogs will always love the realistic project cars bathurst

There is an ACC version of the track imported to Assetto Corsa

Agreed, I manage a 2:02 in ams2 which ended up getting me a 2:03 in acc so pretty close if u ask me for track comparison.
Pretty shure it isn't, Project Cars 2 only had UK tracks and Fuji scanned iirc
What about AMS2? What are your thoughts on that version?
hows the version in project cars 2?
Both rf2 and AC versions are conversions from ACC
Its my favourite track and cars, forgot I'm a Ford guy
One of the best tracks in the world i wish ther was a v8 supercar game best class there is
hi there , can you tell me how to download and install bathurst on acc , please im having trouble finding the easiest way
Best track ever😁❤️ like the girl
i hate last corner, lot of this track version in other game don't have the number board next to the track
those 3 tall lamp poles is my friends
first 12h race of my life was bathurst and i fucked it up in the last stint in murrays 2 times from p7 to p14.......
OK, but how do you mention Grand Turismo, but not Project Cars 2 or Automobilista 2!?
Because she's talking about laserscans I presume
You mean the Nordschleife?😂
You mean macou?
@@BetterThanSparksYT15 You mean Rainbow Road?
Whaaaa what about AMS2!
You can't drive a V8 supercar in ACC but can you ?
Nordschleife is way more difficult. Maybe we should ask the Legend Niki Lauda if this is more difficult than Nordschleife
Mfs dead, what you gonna do 💀
Ask Jack Brahbam

Forza 7 has a pretty good version....I'd say 8/10
And raceroom version is not even mentioned..
Ams2
One doesn’t master the mountain.. It only masters you
Nordschleife is harder
Nordschleife has run off
@@anthonymoon7746 barely anywhere, Nordschleife is a very long, and tight track, with many blind corners, nothing can compete woth it

Is it just me or does Emily look baked in this vid? Settle the on-camera nerves!👍
