Nice video. I was able to follow all of the steps perfectly.
Unfortunately my fuel line is rusted on the bolt connecting to the filter. Do you have any tips? Or maybe the name of this fuel line?

      Try Freeze-Off by CRC

Thanks for the video. Any rust buster fluid works to help break loose the rust. I spray the rusted nuts and let it soak while I do an oil change... About a half hour. Also, I check the rubber O ring on the fuel line at the discharge end of the old filter. New filters come with new O rings most of the time. Old bad O ring will cause a leak. Also place a basin under the car to catch the leaking gas when changing the fuel filter.

Helpful video, would this probably be the same process for a 2010 model?

Does your impala have long shifts from 1st to 2nd gear

That’s what I was curious about mine does

@@BDDbeau Don't they all? My has been doing it for about 15 years even after multiple transmission filter changes. It is probably a solenoid as erratic and hard shifting can occur from a failed transmission pressure control solenoid. Even when repaired they tend to fail that is why I've just ignored mine for about 150,000 miles.

So at the 4:53 point where you press in other side and release...you did not prep/ disengage that prior with the special disconnect ring tool? So these Chevy's just push in and release ?

I knew it was fairly simple, just wanted to do it right... It's either the filter or fuel pump cause I got no pressure at the Schrader valve

Fuel catch pan for that gasoline. Lots of details over looked.

I'm surprised that you didn't prime up the fuel pump 3 times prior to starting the car. Good video, but lots of safety precautions were over looked.

Why did you do it Mizzou car not running right was it putt putt putt putt putt putt putt

  • @brewhammad1026

You need to unplug your fuel relay fuse and then run the car until it dies to relieve the extra pressure in the fuel line. and get a little better control of that wrench

That would come off alot easier if it was changed regularly like it should be.
