I am about 300 hours into Valhalla and have restarted the game 3 times. These tips are ok if you are power 1 - 50 but later on most of the tips don’t work. Also the skill tree is the way you become more powerful by getting the +2 damage and stuff like that. In my opinion grit is a must have skill unless you like plying very passive. @Bruce Walker Cmon man. People travel to discover something new. Why do you think they do that? because they are curious! I do study in university and history. So I know a few things about it.
I did try stealth on a few raids and it's actually kinda fun, sneak in and take out a few archers and some of the easy guys who are all off alone, or some of the more difficult enemies with advanced assassination, then use your horn to call your vikings from your ship to come help you finish off the rest.
Play anyway you want man. Just enjoy. Easy is really too easy though. Around level 90 I put it on Berserker which made it fantasticly challenging and now I'm around 150 power level and I've raised it to Drengr.
Only reason I have it on easy just cuz my little cousins plays the game as well so I just set it at the beginning and haven’t bothered changing it to berserker
I started the game with the hardest difficulty, and at that level, just about everything can either one shot or two shot you. The best way for me was using Brush with Death and equip high speed two handed weapon. It's very forgiving and gives you a short window for high dps every successful dodge. Using this, I was able to defeat Zealots and complete raids at zones 100~200 above my level.
I personally like having less options for armor. I like the amount of armor and style of gear available in Odyssey which was the best game I've played until Valhalla, but I'd spend HOURS upon HOURS selling gear I didn't need since I was stuck with do much of it. I like the wolf gear but my favorite is the Raven clan gear which I just upgraded at the blacksmiths for the third time and it looks so badass. I should use some runes too on my gear. As far as weapons, I use his dads axe in my main hand and prefer a second bearded axe in the other so I can whip out rapid attack damage on the enemy. But yeah don't underestimate the power of blocking, and stripping your opponents defenses. That's how I was able to defeat one of those sickening witches things on the first map.

How you get the loot finder without using your bird? It did it around 1:50 when you scan the ground for items. How do you get that?!

2 pieces of Mentor, 2 pieces of Thane, Spartan Bow, Blacksmiths hammer (off hand), Fafnirs Fang (Main Hand), Attack and Crit runes. You're welcome.
Thank you!
You can stealth your way thru raids. And then once major enemies are defeated you can call in your crew for the raid… js
Very good information with a very pleasant speaking voice, but I would lose that played-out music.

You know what’s more confusing? People will ALWAYS complain that a game is either too short or too long. I can understand the frustration when a game is too short, but what exactly is the issue when a game is “too long”? Are they complaining that they actually got their moneys worth? lol 😂
From experience, I have kids and to be able to play a game like this and actually enjoy it, it's probably gonna take me 6 months or more. Now, I'm not complaining but I can see why some would
Oh British slang, you make everything better. "Say you don't like Daddy's axe and you want something a little bit nippier." All I'm going to think of every time I see that weapon now. "Hmm, Daddy's Axe or perhaps something a bit...nippier?"
Why no one says anything about Using Shield as primary weapon?
Cuz it's kinda stupid tbh. More like something you do if your just trying to be funny.
Great tips; thanks
Has anyone else found the Harry Potter reference?
So far it is quite easy. I'm building a warrior build quickly. Odyssey and origins are harder with not as motivating of a story.
Do enemies randomly respawn?
At forts, yes, I think so. Not the same amount that was there to start with, but stragglers definitely turned up after we thought we cleared everyone out.
PrO
Lol the word Pro is so casual used nowadays
Yeah... I fell for it... Jesus... You might as well be quick about it and say FARM YOU FOOL, vid over.
