Awhile back you guys did a "fog of war" deployment scenario where a large wall was placed between the two players, then both players deployed simultaneously without knowing what the other was doing. That was so cool and made so much sense. Wish that was the standard rule for all 40K starts. Is it just me or did the Overlord forget to use his Tachyon Arrow? Cuz I would have shot that on Turn 1 right into the Wraith Lord's face lol. For the Scarabs with no OC or abilities in Combat Patrol. I would have had them move up with the Warriors. Let them be up front and take the brunt of the attacks being the cannon fodder they are lol. The Doomstalker, tagged as a vehicle, could have still used their Doomsday Blaster while in close combat. It can't shoot it at his close combat target because it has blast, but he could still shot it other targets with a -1 to hit. However, I don't think there were any visible targets by the time this happened. One thing I couldn't figure out though was why was the Doomstalker was considered stuck? Is it because his base couldn't move around the building without it going out of bounds or past the Wraithlord without going over the Wraithlord's base? If so, maybe a Desperate Escape could have been worth it to get out of the corner? Could have maybe shot at the Eldar Warriors some more or the Wraithlord. Could have used the Scarabs to screen the Wraithlord in Combat maybe. Or taken the near by objective, beating the Wraithlord's OC3 to the Doomstalker's OC 4.

@PlayOnTabletop -- Hello Team, I love your content. I just can't get enough of the 40K action. Quick question for you. What is the material you use to outline your play area? I would like to do something similar to this for my own games.
What could have helped the crons was using the right overlord model because the data sheet has it equipped with a tachyon arrow which could have came in clutch to help pop off the wraith lord, by at minimum hit scoring at least 3 wounds, and up to 8 being D6+2 to damage.
The different toughness in a unit does not matter. Because the bodyguard unit was alive when that unit was targetted all rolls are made against the bodyguard toughness, even if they die halfway through the attacks. Also, I know it hasn't been updated in the combat patrol but I think that's a mess up from GW. It's now restricted to one fate dice per phase max.
Again, awesome video, thanks for the joy! I'm still learning since I started 40k this year and play on helps me getting into it. And I saw one thing at 11:20 when micheal began his charge. He said it's 8" and instantly talked about a 7 on the dice. Is this the regular way of charging? Having 1" in mind for the pile in move? Im still struggling with all that pile-in and consolidate moves
I may be getting this wrong but at the beginning of round 2 I think elder were holding 2 objectives and necrons were holding one. Eldar scored 5pts for holding one or more, another 5pts for holding more than the opponent, and then another 10pts for razing an objective. But as far as I am reading the rules the objective has to be razed at the beginning of the command phase and then scoring happens at the end of the command phase. Shouldn’t this mean that if an objective was razed the eldar player no longer holds more objectives than their opponent when it comes to scoring, which would result in 15pts? I’m interested in clarification for my own play :)
I'm still trying to learn, but at 19:01, when the Destroyers wanted to charge into the bikes, why did the Aeldari player chose to use Overwatch at the beginning of the charge move (which would grant the Necron player cover) instead of the at the end of the charge move (no cover)? My understanding is that you can overwatch at the start or end of a Normal, Advance, Fall back or Charge move.

Hey! The blue is a sotek green base coat, I normally will have to do two thin coats to get a consistent finish. After that it is a overbrush of skink blue, followed by a much more selective dry brush of ushabti bone. Try to hit just the raised areas and or just the corner panels with the ushabti bone. Finally I will normally do two glazes of a watered-down seraphim sepia, the first one being all over, the second one being concentrated in the grooves and Shadow areas. Hope that helps! Tag my Instagram if you use the recipe!
So 2 things guys, its not technically RAW in combat patrol but pretty sure thats an oversight and its meant to apply there as well as to the main aeldari index, Strands of fate is rstricted to one use per phase now. Secondly on at least a couple of occasions the Necrons were controlling objectives with scababs, which are OC 0 and thus cant control objectives (you can do it using one of their stratagems but dont believe they did this ever so was just a flat mistake (in practice they could have just measn the necrons would have had to spend a couple cp they didnt)
Please keep doing Patrol games! Its such a different way to play. And quick! Each roll, each CP spent has so much more riding on it, so much more meaning.

WHO DID PAINT THESE NECRONS ? I wanna have his recipe 👀
Can at least someone tell me how to achieve that blue/turquoise on their armor plates ? 🙏👀
@@michaelbuckthorp977 thank you SO MUCH 🙏 will be some time till i try it out, but will let you know !
Is SoF once per phase PER unit, or just once per phase?
Example: if I have five Attack 1 rolls (so five 1d6), can I SoF all five dice, or just one?
I wish to get those explosion things. Where do we get them or did you make it from scratch?
i think votann vs aldari will be a great video next
The Magnet Baron: You WILL be disappointed 🤣🤣🤣
Epic intro
Wraithlord doesn't get Strands of Fate in Combat Patrol
Nick in the background at 16:35 😂
So who’s gonna tell ‘em you can fire out of combat w/blast weapons?
So 2 things guys, its not technically RAW in combat patrol but pretty sure thats an oversight and its meant to apply there as well as to the main aeldari index, Strands of fate is rstricted to one use per phase now. Secondly on at least a couple of occasions the Necrons were controlling objectives with scababs, which are OC 0 and thus cant control objectives (you can do it using one of their stratagems but dont believe they did this ever so was just a flat mistake (in practice they could have just measn the necrons would have had to spend a couple cp they didnt)
So if I see someone playing Aeldari I should shake their hand and say have a nice day. Got it. Lol
Best Episode ever
Those damage rolls hurt my soul
That necron overlord isn't the one used for combat patrol though
man his gf pulled the "My will be done", his name is Robo
i feel like you should do an episode where it's narrated like golf instead of sports commentary
Please keep doing Patrol games! Its such a different way to play. And quick! Each roll, each CP spent has so much more riding on it, so much more meaning.
great battle
At 10:54, which models was the Aeldari player trying to save with is 3x3 fate dice?
Guardian defenders. They have a 4+ save down to a 3+ from the cover (the target gets to pick which of the models take the save).
@@lilaotearoa5399 But the 3 shots from the Necron player had -1AP, which cancels out the Cover Bonus. This means the Guardian Defenders would be saving on 4+ no?
Aren’t the eldar bikes supposed to be in one squad not split for Combat Patrol?
