I don't have TikTok and this is my first time seeing these clips. I think I would put them in my hair when it was towel-dried and then allow it to continue to air dry. Maybe with some mousse? I'm worried about the Velcro causing tangles too, unless my hair was above shoulder length. I think there are other volumizing clips without Velcro that I'd try first. When I had short hair with a side part in the 90's, I would always put one clip right in the front of my hair to direct it up and over while air drying. I can't believe I washed my hair daily back then!

There will be hair in these, brush well before using curlers. Also, remove bottom curlers first working your way to top. For thicker looking hair, keep fine thin hair shoulder length or close to it. Hair weight will pull volumn down. For more volumn, use large plastic rollers and setting gel. Ask people from the 80s how they got volumn. I got it with hairspray and hot rollers. However, they changed ingredients of hair spray and it does not hold like it did then.

This process doesn't seem worth it. I feel like the little volume it gave you would fall out within a couple of hours. Have you tried the Sebastian Mousse for volume? That seemed to be the only thing that ever gave my hair volume. But's it's harder to find in stores now, probably have to get it online. I'd flip my wet hair upside down, rub the mouse in the roots, and then while blow drying I'd pull out the roots with my fingers while applying the heat. This actually gave my flat thin hair some volume.

After each section I keep it rolled up with a bobby pin in it until it cools down and spray some hairspray on it. When I take it all down it has tons of volume and looks very similar to a blowout. Thanks so much not worth spending the money. Agree hair doesn‘t look great and it gets kinked.

I think your hair is too fine and sparse for this to work on you. You might want to try those claw clips instead they don’t get snagged on your hair because they’re all plastic. Do I see a little male pattern thinning going on?

I think she said that her hair is very fine but she has LOTS of it.

NO it doesn’t look good and it pulls hair out! So, if you lose roughly 10 hairs per time, and you used it four times a week that’ll be roughly about 40 extra hairs you’re losing not to mention the kinks, it looked awfully kinky. It didn’t look voluminous and smooth at all It’s a no from me dawg! I know an absolute brilliant technique for getting tons of volume but I’m not sharing it because everybody copies everybody on social media and all it takes is one big wig a copy it and the original creator would never get the credit😂

Nope. I don’t even like using Velcro rollers.

You are cute. At least you background music doesn't have lyrics to a song I want to back out of . They are not that expensive so..........looks like of cute and easy so might try it anyway. Take some long clips and run each sprocket of the clip between small rollers and see if you get a better body to the root. So would be one clip with two small rollers. What do you have to lose...............

These are TRASH. i wish i saw this video before I bought a stupid pair of them at Ulta. I had no idea they were 'ViRaL'...I also have super fine hair, was a bit irritated they pulled out a few hairs when trying to remove. Will just tease.
