I really love this track! Last time we were here it was my second week on iRacing overall and it wa then when I found your channel. The track is quite a bit faster this time around. And I think I improved personally since as well. Last time I was almost 2 seconds off your time in my best quali at the very end of the week. This time I'm a second off of your time in just my second race this week which I managed to win. You've helped me improve with your videos, many thanks!
Last comment I promise , I’ve been following your ghost , you turn one is crazy good , I’ll beat you to the corner and exit before you , and about a second later you fly by , add that speed to turn 2 and you are 1/2 second ahead by turn three
So one thing to take into account following the last update is that the Tempest system is now in place and wind makes a big different on certain sections of the track (and the wind moves around during the practice session). I ran my testing for about 40 minutes and the wind did a full 180 during that time. Overall it nets off (ie my best six times were all within a tenth of each other even though the sector times were wildly different) but expect to be much fastest and/or slower in some corners from now on. On all my videos from now on I’ll be displaying the wind direction. I hadn’t previously as it didn’t move for the Vee prior to the latest update.
Thanks for putting these together. They have helped me become faster, I know this is your best lap, what's your average lap time? in a race, qualifying.
So I just checked my Garage61 for that test session and the laps I completed were a 1:26.207 (that was my fastest legal lap), a 1:26.222, a 1:26.279, a 1:26.331 and a 1:26.492. When I was just running public lobby practice before the first race I ran half a dozen laps ranbing between 1:26.312 and 1:26.777. A race will usually be slower if people are fighting but yeah I'd say my average would be around the 1:26.2 to 1:26.7 range. It's a fairly simple lap so much easier to put in repeatable times than somewhere like VIR with 18 corners.
@@Sambo_iRacing Thanks for the reply back, I'm stuck at 1.27.2. Watching one of your other videos, it might be cause I'm not using a clutch. (auto blip) It would be cool to see one of your laps with an auto clutch/blip.
Wouldn't know off the top of my head mate. It loads in at 67.3 I think so whatever 4 clicks back from that is. I have the brake bias keyed to my wheel and just click 4 times every time I get in the cockpit without actually looking.
Could someone plz help me?? I am a class D lisence with ~1500 irating and i cannot find any free formula vee/ formula 1600 lobbys like i could in season 1 or 2023. Could sb please tell me where to find these tracks?
What exactly do you mean? You need to go to "Official" tab on the left side of the new UI layout. Then make sure you haven't filtered Formula Vee out, if not then it should show up on the list, it will be higher up the closer it is to the race starting, with default settings at least.

That could be part of it but a 1.27.2 is fast mate. That’s great pace and the same time the VRS coach put in this week for their paid lap guides.
