Because by the time she realized Caylee had died, there was no way of reviving her. Calling the cops would have done nothing but cause Casey to go to jail. If your daughter can't be saved then what's the point in bringing the cops in on it?
I honestly think it was manslaughter. She did something she wasn't supposed to do and inadvertantly killed Caylee.

I've always believed Casey is guilty, but I was still shocked by how quickly and effortlessly she twisted this show to be all about herself.
It's dismaying how often videos like this one cite utter incompetence on the part of law enforcement and/or CPS.

I can’t get over the fact that she called the police when a woman threw a drink at her in a bar, but not when her daughter went missing. Definitely shows where her priorities are, she is one of the worst humans alive.

Actually, I'm glad she agreed to this documentary. Like a lot of people, I believed she killed her daughter. But now, listening to her updated version of the story, I can get onboard with it. Her lies are so much more believable now. I would love to see her father charged. What a creep he turned out to be. Casey is a hero.

Casey Anthony may have been acquitted of murder, but the fact that she went partying after finding out that her daughter was dead, speaks volumes about the kind of human being she is.

The fact that she created a completely fictitious character to accuse of kidnapping the child, has only one reason behind it. She knew it would send people on a wild goose chase and waste time instead of finding her daughter. There is no other reason to do that, other than to deflect guilt.

I believe when she said "Zanny the nanny," she was telling the truth in a way. I believe that Casey dosed Caley with zanex so she would sleep while Casey left her alone (possibly in the trunk of her car) so that she could party. She went too far and overdosed Caley, and she panicked and threw her baby away like trash.
She knows she's guilty, she climbs out of her sewer every few years with another story, hoping one will stick and everyone will glorify her. The best way to make her go away is to forget her name.
She is guilty of something but it isn't premeditated murder.
Only ppl that could possibly fall for her BS is people that know basically nothing of the case.

This trial is a prime example of how "not guilty" is not the same as "innocent"
Yes, not proven beyond doubt does not mean not guilty, it means a catalogue of errors were made in trying to find the truth and achieve justice.
Her lawyers were happy to destroy her own father (and anyone else) to raise reasonable doubt. It was horrible to watch. I hope her life is at least as miserable as she made her family's life. It's hard for me to fathom such cruelty.
No one believed her then and no one believes her now. I couldn’t get out of bed when my dog died. Her child died and she was dancing on bars and partying. Even if it was accidental, it’s very hard to believe she just went on for a month like life was going great for her. All her lies, Zenaida, Universal Studios, not telling her parents she was failing and wasn’t going to graduate. Now she’s had 10 years to come up with even more ridiculous lies. Thanks for covering this Dr. G, bc I was not going to watch anything this person could profit from.

Sadly there are a large number who now believe she is innocent after the doco. How I dont know.
I always remember the taped visits of her parents visiting her in jail. They were anguished and also walked on eggshells. She was angry and defensive, but not worried like her parents were. She never grieved or acted upset. It's a travesty that she was not found guilty.
She was so manipulative during those visits. “I need to be out on the streets finding Caylee”… when her parents were asking her to be honest with the investigators.
She didn't even look like she missed her 8 hours of sleep.

I have a Facebook friend who reminds me of Casey, she abandoned her kid because she just couldn’t stop partying. After seeing the documentary she was all over Facebook talking about how Casey is innocent. It’s just funny how people will justify behaviors that they see reflected of them.

Florida’s a hell of a state…
First , we have to assume she was charged with child endangerment in the first place. Second, that charge would be added only to compound on the primary charge of murder, to ensure additional sentencing. The prosecution failed to prove she killed Caylee, and much like dominos the case for all the charges fell apart after that. It’s infuriating, but the truth is this should have been a slam dunk for the prosecution and they really blew it.

This to me is one of the top 5 cases that made me really despise and lose hope in the justice system. I have never in my life seen or been in a situation where everything was in front of me and I was still saying it was something else. She should not be walking around at all. And my whole family doesn't have Peacock due to this. Like there was no way I'm putting even a dollar into a company, a person, anything really that promotes, highlights, and pushes BS like this.
It still blows my mind that she got away with this. This woman deserves the absolute worst that life can offer.
She wasn't convicted due to the state's inferior case. They went too aggressive with the charges, with not enough evidence. It's a prosecution fail. They should've charged her with negligence. That was provable. The murder we all know happened, the state didn't have enough goods, and as such there was enough reasonable doubt by the jury. No matter how pissed and disgusted the jury is, if the smoking gun isn't there, they couldn't convict her on murder. The state, as Dr. Grande said, failed Caylee.
Well, it was in Floriduuuh the land of idiots, so I am not surprised she was acquitted.

That said, I'd hope if you were on a jury, and the state couldn't prove the case you'd acquit, too. It doesn't matter what you think happened, it's that did the state remove all possible doubt? The answer is a big no on that. The system did it's job.

We all have to remember that *Casey never made the missing person report.* It was the grandma Cindy who did it when she was confronting Casey for stealing her car, stealing thousands of dollars from the family, lying about having a job (3 different ones if I remember correctly), and refusing to let her and her husband (granpa) see Caylee while lying about her whereabouts (Cindy went to all the places Casey said throughout the month and of course she didn't find her granchild)
It was only then that Casey felt cornered enough to confess Caylee was "missing", and Cindy had to PRESSURE her to talk to the operators!!! If Casey was left alone, I'm sure she would have NEVER filed any report. She's a monster even in the miniscule possibility that she did not kill Caylee.
May she suffer an agonizing death!!

It seems that most people who lost a child to a horrible accident would have trouble every day trying to find the strength to go on. When you lose a child, part of your own self dies with them. It’s the most painful thing someone can go through. But there’s Casey, partying it up for a month and then worrying about nothing but keeping herself out of trouble.
Everyone deals with grief differently. My friend lost two of kids because her ex- hubby killed them. She was out and about within two weeks. She went to casinos and went on vacation. Everyone reacts differently.

One time my dog got out and chased a rabbit into the woods across the street. As we tried getting her back home, my mind was steps ahead in case she got lost, thinking I would have to call police/animal control etc. (luckily we got her in ourselves and the ordeal was about five minutes) I cannot imagine not reporting my dog, let alone child missing for 31 days. I think that says all we need to know about Casey

I’m happy you got your dog back. I had a beagle named Oscar who was an escape artist. He was such a curious and active little guy. So much happiness with him would be abruptly halted by sheer panic looking for him praying he got lucky enough to not get run over by a car.
Same when my cat went missing after I let him out and he didn’t return for more than an hour I completely lost it panicked I looked for him everywhere I eventually found him. That’s my cat tho, and it was after an hour.
But remember Sarah (according to Casey) she was with the babysitter…for 30 days…one she couldn’t remember her last name or had a phone number for, I mean perfectly normal right? Don’t you believe her? 🙄
She states that she always did all these extra things to keep her father away from her daughter and yet she though it was perfectly fine for him to have her for 31 days. My theory has always stayed the same, no matter how many lies she tells. I think she was using zanax (zanny the nanny) or even chloroform to knock Caylee out, and kept her in the trunk while she was partying. One time she used to much or too much tape to keep her quiet, and when she opened the trunk she found her dead. She went home and wrapped her in bags and threw her in the woods, then went about her partying with a new beautiful life tattoo. She stayed away from her family for those 31 days, until she ditched her car that was stinking from death., because once they found her car is when they started asking questions, otherwise she would have kept up the charade of her and Caylee being here or there, and her great job etc, etc. As soon as Cindy found her at her boyfriends house without Caylee (after they found her car) is when the kidnapping story all started. Just my theory of course.

100% what I've always thought and still believe. I think there's a tiny chance it may have been accidental like the pool drowning scenario and she just wasn't paying attention (but i dont believe george knew/was involved at all). But definitely had to be one of those 2 things that happened imo. And she will never admit to it at this point.
The roommate of her old boyfriend made up the whole “Xanny the Nanny” thing he even admits he made it up, never even saw Casey with Xanax. It was a rumor that somehow became a fact, I was surprised by that revelation.

I was dating a girl for a couple months. We watched this and she believed Casey. I literally walked out and never talked to her again.

I mean, we all know she did it. I wish the prosecution didn’t get such a hard on for a 1st degree conviction because that’s all they had their sights set on, according to the judge, and that’s all the jury saw, and this is the end result. They overcharged. Had they put 2nd degree and Manslaughter on the table, Casey would still be in jail today.
She had 10yrs to think up this whole My Dad Did It story, so no surprise there though. As far as her SA claim, she has lied and done so much, that even if that’s true, and it very well may be, because let’s be real, that shit is so common sadly, even with Casey Anthony’s, that, no one would care or believe her.
My 11 year old son went missing one evening. I called the police the minute I realized he was gone. I emphasized that he has a developmental disability, hoping that would expedite things.
Then my neighbor and I stood at the end of my driveway and cried.
It turned out another neighbor invited him to walk her dog, but to tell me first. He just yelled into the window and assumed I heard.
I was terrified. I wasn’t leaving that spot until he returned.
PS, the neighbor with the dog was horribly embarrassed.

@@ahmritroets2596 Respectfully, I disagree. There is nothing to indicate this was the case. It's very important that we do not light the match of our opinions on a case rife with tinder. Cindy and Casey shared a bond over Caylee, and had a system for caring for her.
George is the one that resented Caylee, Cindy was going to divorce him, so she wasn't too impressed with George. She was going to sign her home over to Casey, then she would have a place for the three of them, and not have to sell it due to the divorce.
People need to look at George, that baby was the center of attention for Cindy and Casey. He was expendable to them, as Cindy was the bread winner and George was just spending the money on women and gambling. Casey and her mother had Caylee to cater to and focus on. George was on his way out, until Caylee passed.
Still horrifying that she got acquitted and is out here making money with more lies

This case is devastating. The judge actually said that he believed Cayllee died as a result of an accident (although after this documentary perhaps he changed his mind). At the very least, she should have been convicted of criminal negligence and been barred from profiting off of this tragedy. Great analysis but I definitely won’t be watching the documentary. I can’t stomach this horrible woman. No good is coming out of this.

When somebody you love dies, all you have left are the things you remember. And being a human, those things are typically memories of your senses. Smell is such a strong sense that reminds us of memories. I don't think that sweat comment from George was weird, he's remembering Caylee the best he can, and from what I gather, those good memories are probably from days that she ran around with them outside, having fun, getting sweaty and red faced like toddlers do. Every person who has a child knows the smell he's talking about, that sweaty, outside smell that sticks on kids and they're not old enough to be stinky when they sweat. Casey grasping at straws to "prove" her father did this, yet again. She's disgusting.
The fact that she was so obviously relieved and happy that her daughter was missing and she was freed of her parental responsibility, regardless of whether she had anything to do with the girls death or not, means she was an unfit mother. This is a prime example that not everyone should have kids.

Since the trial I 100% believed the little girl died due to negligent parenting: she was sedated so her mother could go out and party - but then returned to a tragic scene. I believed at the time she was narcissistic and self-centered enough to deny reality, discard the remains, and pretend that the daughter didn’t exist to avoid being found out as a criminally negligent parent.
Now that I actually focus on Casey’s demeanor she positions herself as the ultimate victim of the story, not the deceased little girl. I now believe it must’ve been premeditated murder.
I was happy to see that this so called "documentary" had the exact opposite effect than it intended to have and instead of it making you think she was totally innocent you changed to thinking that instead of perhaps stupidly but accidentally killing Caylee, she did it deliberately. BTW, this was NOT a documentary. They should have called it "Our Attempt to Whitewash Casey Anthony" because that's what it was. I'm glad to see evidence that they failed spectacularly!

It could also be interpreted as an instrument used to cover the face so the remorseful negligent mother doesn’t have to see what she has done. Also due to the accidental evidence, tampering from the meter, reader and animal predation, we don’t know what the original configuration was. Meaning we don’t know if it was used to tape a blanket over her face.

There is a problem with the evidence, Caylee's body decomposed for a month or so, it was hard to tell if she died of natural causes or if she was murdered, there's also the issue of linking Casey's DNA to the murder, Casey herself was probably smart enough to cover her tracks.

Back when I was little when the trial happened I thought for sure she did it, and now after years later and having a child of my own I KNOW she did it. Dr. Grande's opinion about Casey has evolved over time. In his first video about her, when it comes to the question of if Dr. Grande thinks she is guilty, he says "I don't know". In this video, with the same question, he says, without hesitation "Yes, I think she's guilty." I mean, it's kind of unavoidable. Any logical person would come to the same conclusion.

That was a mistruth drummed up by Nancy Grace to put a sensational spin on things. Her friends said that Casey didn't like to party, was more of an introvert, and they had to cajole her away from Caylee to even get her to come out with them to the bars. I don't think Casey is innocent but there is a lot of misleading information out there surrounding this case.

It's actually not unusual for someone to miss the smell of a loved one. People express that sentiment all the time. I miss the smell of my grandma who always smelled like woodsmoke and coffee. George expressed it very awkwardly and weirdly, but the sentiment is not out of the ordinary
When my brother died I packed up a bunch of his clothes, but the plastic totes I put it in totally changed the smell of it and it was completely devastating. So yeah, I totally get that. Mmm woodsmoke and coffee. Those are such good smells 💚💜

I remembered the case. I'm through the 2nd episode. And I'm astonished as to how she prioritized things when questioned. To my untrained eye she was only concerned about her life, her mother's day, her life. Which all still carries on to this day.

There is story about a woman who was driving around for a year, with the bodies of two of her sisters children she un-alived. Reviewing her facebook, you’d think she was pretty normal. People are nuts. The will look you in your face, play victim, when they are really nuts.

Where Casey lies? That would depend on where she is at any given moment. I don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. She killed her daughter & she freely walks the streets. I think it's just despicable.
The whole pool thing caught my attention due to Casey mentioning that she (Casey) couldn't even get in the pool without the ladder in place. Why would that even matter when discussing how it would be impossible for Caylee to get into that pool on her own? Just saying the pool was too tall for a toddler to climb in unassisted would have sufficed just fine. Stating that she (Casey) couldn't even get in without the ladder in place inadvertently implicates her.
There was also the point where she was talking about the corpse smell in her car. One minute, she said it never smelled that way/wouldn't know what one smelled like, then claimed there was a smell, but it was just rotting garbage she forgot about in her backseat, the next she says she never smelled anything/never wants to smell that scent ever again (referring to the smell of a decomposing body).
All this docuseries managed to do was prove this disgusting excuse for a human being can't tell a convincing lie to save her miserable life.
How does stating she could not get in the pool inadvertently implicate her? She was just painting a picture. Her point was, no ladder, no drowning.
Also, about the smell, it was Cindy that said it was garbage in the car, AFTER Cindy said it was a body.
Casey's comments on the smell in the car were that she thought an animal died, this is what she told her friends.
Have you ever smelled a dead body? You would never forget it if you did. But if you had never smelled human decomposition, you might think it was an animal. Casey would never had said it smelled like an animal, if she knew it was a body. She would have said nothing!
So Casey is not the one that threw Caylee away. If she had, she would know what human decomposition smelled like. This is a valid argument and I would like to hear your respond to it.
I don't think every avenue was looked into. Casey's father is very suspicious imo. And what he said at the baby's funeral was borderline creepy. Smelling her sweet sweat. Giving her "special" hugs. Who talks like that about their granddaughter. There's just as much evidence he killed Caylee as there is Casey killed her.

They also found caylees hair in the trunk and determined it had shed after decomposition. Casey abandoned the car, and texted all her friends that she ran over a skunk. She 100 percent was covering her tracks.
She Just doesn't stop.
The Zenaida thing, and the Universal Studios debacle, and the decomposition smell even the dogs caught, then the discovery of her daughter should have sent her away for life.
The part of the documentary where Casey was going over details of her own past abuse and trauma with her old man lawyer, in that living room, was very telling to me. He was asking questions (in front of the camera, mind you) and she was detailing allegations where he then said “you never told me that part before”….to me, it showed his tactile lawyer way of how he thought of her and communicates with her. He seems to see her as a “case” that he can always win. Maybe he wants to believe her for his own morality, but the way he spoke to her was like building a defense right in front of the cameras, and she used the opportunity to come up with more lies. I assume it’s how they always talk to each other. It’s a business transaction. When she ate lunch and prayed with him and his wife, it looked so cold and free from real human emotion or connection. I’m guessing his wife hates her. She probably acts like a spoiled little party girl brat around them constantly. They are the new mommy and daddy. I wonder how many times she’s had her car taken away.

One time when my little sister was a toddler probably close to Kayleigh age she followed her friend one street over without telling anyone....My mom was so frantic and distraught screaming her name within 2-5 minutes she was allready on the phone with the police and banged on every single door on or street we had a search party maybe 20 people looking for her this was just in a few minutes of course my sister was fine and came right back she didn't even no she was missing

According to a jury of her peers the state did not prove her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt in their minds.. contrary to the title of this video the American legal system is the reverse.. it is not on the accused to prove innocence it is on the charging parties to prove guilt..
Her father - if he didn’t do anything to her, has been destroyed by this. I think it’s like Casey always says “a little truth in everything” - she probably took one thing & twisted it into a story, there’s just too many pieces of evidence of HER. This is what is wrong in society: people are so incapable of admitting they are wrong they would rather bring down everyone around them.
And this is exactly her psychological profile. She knows he didn’t do it, it’s why she won’t go right out & say it. She can just hint at things and let US draw the conclusion. She murdered her child, regardless of what happened to her.
My theory on what happened. Casey wanted to go out with her friends and party, her mom told her she wouldn't babysit because she wanted Casey to be more responsible and be a MOM to little Caylee. Casey got mad and drugged Caylee with Zanax or cough syrup and put her in the trunk of the car to sleep (so no one in the bar parking lot would see a toddler sleeping in the backseat). Caylee ran out of oxygen in that trunk and suffocated. Casey panicked and threw her into the pool then went to bed. Casey's Dad found the toddlers body and knew they would be in trouble for the kid getting in the pool on her own. I hate to think one of them dumped that little girl's body into that swamp and left her there, but they had to of. Her Dad probably told her to go act like nothing was wrong and they would just all play dumb and say they had no idea what happened. I think the grandmother was a complete victim in all this. She obviously had no idea of what happened to that little girl. You can hear the panic and outright fear in her voice on that 911 tape. Casey kept living it up and George did what he needed to do to keep the grandmother calm and not freak out trying to find Casey and Caylee. Then SH*T hit the fan when that car was found. And decomp from Caylee was still very prevalent in that trunk. George knew, but I don't think he caused it. Because Casey would have ratted him out in a heartbeat. She did it on accident during a negligent action.

THANK YOU! I was disgusted by how many people had changed their minds due to this documentary on Twitter. How are people so gullible or how are they so susceptible to manipulation. Casey is neither a good liar nor a good manipulator, but somehow she has a large number of people believing this outlandish story that only started to develop during the trial. None of the made up story makes sense. Her father supported her and loved his grandchild; Casey is despicable.
Thinking people have known how easily the public can be swayed since atleast the floyd case.
Because it’s exclusivity one-sided.
@@6611 Exactly, and if Casey and her father were both involved but neither of them tell the complete truth, the story of what really happened will never see the light of day. Maybe on either of these two's deathbeds we'll get a truthful confession but I'm certainly not holding my breath.

@@sachmo8 trained police officer was behind the brilliant idea to dump a child’s body practically at his own doorstep, and then instructed his daughter to party it up and then eventually lie her ass off poorly about it, bringing way more suspicion down on Casey? Does, uh, does that sound right to you? A father who repeatedly assaulted his daughter walks in with his granddaughter’s lifeless body, says he’ll take care of it and everything will be ok, and Casey just goes oh cool, everything is gonna be fine? She talks about how this was a man she needed to protect her daughter from, and she allowed her daughter who is clearly in bad shape to be looked after by this man? She’s a stone cold liar and a bad one. If you believe a word that comes out of her mouth you’re just another victim of her manipulation
I am beyond disbelief that she got away with murdering her own child. 😢 I’m disgusted by her defense counsel, and I still can’t believe that beautiful child died without any justice for her. I knew this B was guilty the minute when I found out she was partying after her child had been missing for a couple of days. I can’t believe that any mother would do that other than an evil B who killed her own child 🤷🏻♀️
The documentary threw softball questions at Casey. Nancy Grace said she was asked to participate but turned it down because she would not be allowed to ask Casey the questions she wanted to ask.
I’d like to say she is going to have to live with this for rest of her life, but I think she is incapable of feeling anything for any other life form except herself, here’s hoping Karma gets her!!!!!😢
