I can’t believe you don’t have more views! What a master class in metal working. You’re only missing the most important PPE. Take care of those lungs. The matrix material in cutoff discs is going to hurt you sooner or later. I owe my life yo a customer who begged me to wear my mask every day in my woodworking shop. She was on her deathbed due to mesothelioma.
So you've convinced me to go ahead and turn my 39' Plymouth coup into a 3 window. I wasn't sure if I could pull that one off as a possed to just chopping the 5 window. Your tutorial has convinced me thank you very much, and I think you do excellent work and should be up there in the customizing upper echelon. Thanks Mark
He gets lost in a play ground like that LOL the old boom wrecker was cool I can imagine what Chad would do to something like that he see things in them we don't see till he in the middle of a build and what route he is going with it that's when others start fussing I wait to see I have not seen a bad one yet I love everything yaw have and would enjoy all of them I watch the show every time before dinner if I'm late for dinner because of Chad LOL
That's a cool car. It looks like it's going 100 miles an hour just sitting there. I like that little trick with the English wheel to giving it a spin and then put the metal in
Glad I stumbled across your channel, I just finished EP1 and am still chuckling in OSHA. I am enjoying the build, and your subtle humor. Cheers from Texas.
Your pretty dang good at this. I have been watching Brent on his 35 Dodge/etc., and its quite a art to make a panel say something. Your making this panel more than just a plain patch!
It's looking good, thanks for sharing your pip anval 👍🏽 I like that stile small that don't take up much room. Ima have to copie off it but maybe not exactly not the same. Keep on keeping on. My work space is way smaller so I understand the work space untalise what little space I have.

This is great . Thanks for sharing. I'm sure you know that just a few years before this car was made , ( About 34) Metallurgy changed and that allowed car makers to stamp out large body parts without cracking... so this body isn't just a cool car.. its a impressive piece of technology. You are doing some very impressive work here. Will you have to support the fillers with some sort of stringers?
Your opening comment speaks volumes (been sitting here or about an hour looking at roof) Taking your time getting it right and thinking and checking before cutting or welding . You ever considered getting bad chad to give you a hand 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 He could bring you some quality coat hangers to weld roof on .
@The Old Iron Workshop yes your probably right 😊😊 I watch many of his videos and read the comments they love him . I get so frustrated at the crap he tells people and when I try to add a helpful comment they want to put a rope over a tree for me . Can't understand how tv can brainwash millions of people same all reality TV I suppose
Great Job...i never got any credit for mine either...but made a fair amount of $$ way back in the 60's to early 90's...mainly bikes and vettes. please keep up all the hard work and great video content. new to your channel...sub'd, like on each vid, will occasionally comment. very best to you and yours. walt+mrs.
Brent over at Halfass Kustoms cuts at an inward angle when he cuts panels to do a butt weld, it gives a combination of a butt and overlap joint. Nice for aligning and clamping to get a smooth joint to weld. 😃👍
Hello I enjoy looking at your work and explanations. Could you please tell me what grade of steel do you use for body panels? Is it sold in ordinary stores or is it special steel?
Just found your channel and am very excited to see more. The details of your pipe anvil bending cart are much appreciated. I’ve been meaning to build one for years and your design is very compact. Does it have locking casters to minimize the moving around while using it? 👍😎👍
I get the not getting credit for your work things. I used to paint cars for a living and never got credit for mine hard work . it was always the owner of the shop that got told he did a good job. no matter how many hours and days you put into something. But the car is looking Awesome good job.
No kidding. Listening to the car owners talk about how they built their car. Sometimes is nauseating knowing damn well they didn’t do anything except write a check.
I enjoy watching your videos. Awesome work. You may want to change the name of the video to whatever the content is. Having the date as the name may not help people find this valuable info.
I’m pretty sure most people don’t realize how stupid hard this is to do. You better have a shit ton of experience and be pretty freaking good at math. It’s nowhere near as easy as this guy makes it look.
Super impressed!! You are def very skilled and talented. My brother picked the right guy to chop his Nash. Can't wait to see the end results! 😊
Thanks so much!!
As soon as I saw you were tig welding the A pillar I hit subscribe. Good stuff.
That car is gonna be BADASS when finished & is already looking that way!! Love that style!!
Pretty talented fella. You make it look easy as hell. I also watch bellos customs and he’s seems to have the same taste.
For somebody who doesn't know what he's doing, your doing a great job , looks fantastic from what l can see 😀 👍
Thanks 👍

Honestly, I’m a little surprised too. Perhaps it’s my lack of fundamental knowledge on how to properly TH-cam market.
Really enjoying your videos, I'm glad I found your channel, Cheers from Melbourne Australia.
OMG !!!!! That’s beautiful. BRO!!!!! 👍🏻✌🏻🤘🏻
Thanks!!
Nice job! looking forward to more videos.
Very Nice job Looks Excellent
Always glad to see more Kustom content videos. Thanks for sharing how you think through the process and put your ideas to work.
Typically I lie awake in bed at night thinking about how to do things of course when I wake up in the morning, I forgot most of it.
Lookin' good! Thanks for sharing your skilled, hard work.👍👍❤
Thanks 👍
Nice work!!!! I learned a lot watching you!!!!
This chop is so good nice and laid out, beautiful job!
Looks great! Nice lines 🏁
looking good lots of work
Thanks 👍
And your humor knows no bounds, naming an English wheel, Grace ha ha ha!
It’s actually named after the chopper in pulp fiction
I like the attitude, thanks for sharing your time, efforts and talents.
I appreciate that!

@@pauljeglum9786 it’s just metal. What could go wrong. I say go for it. I’m trying to convince myself to chop my 40

Thank you. The interesting thing is the humor is not even intentional. I go back to edit the video and I’m like oh I said that”
Love your work man. Keep em coming. 👍 👌👌
Thanks, will do!

Thank you I did not know that about the steel. No it’s a pretty solid body. Most of the wood inside was just for interior parts.
Nice resr fenders on that car and the teardrop tail lights.
Yes they are!

@@alanhicks3361 well, it really depends on what people are trying to get out of it I guess. I’ve never much understood television. I don’t watch it.
@The Old Iron Workshop yes I watch you tube when I am in my house in Thailand,
But in uk 🇬🇧 I don't watch either to busy building stuff 😊

Awesome build! Would love to hear how you made the bead roller and your process in using it. Thanks, Carl

18g. I would prefer 19g but it’s not available where I am

I wonder what the top off of an early '50's Mopar three window would look like with a '30's or '40's coupe?👋
It would look rad

Not at the moment. But I think I’m gonna do a tutorial on building on. I’ve had so many inquiries about it.
@@Theoldironworkshop Thank you. I really hope you do a tutorial of all the forming options it provides.

Bad Chad must make you itch!
It’s definitely interesting to watch
Is there a complete build video on this car?…very kool.
No. It’s not my car. I’m just chopping it. The other work was done in California
Such beautiful lines on this car. I almost clicked off on the video at about the 19:22 mark.
Ha. I think perhaps I was supposed to edit that portion out.
Subscribed just for the dry ass senses of humor.
You should hear the stuff I edit out.
What’s your shop rate??? Nice shop 👍👍👍
$75
@@Theoldironworkshop Thanks for the info. Great $$$. Wish you were closer to south Florida.
just noticed the te shirt i bought Danny Trejo's cook book and made the tacos were great.
Is the rear window wanting to moved down toward the trunk or something else .....no !?
It needs to be cut down. Owner likes the way it looks so it stayed as is.
