This is actually perfect timing. I’m finishing up the engine bay on my 53 and considering a chop. My buddy chopped his 49 styleline four door himself and says we could knock mine out fairly simple so this will help a bunch! Great work!
Just caught up to this video to watch it. All I can say is WOW. You have done a sweet chop. This will be way better than the first one. Great job guys.
Great job Anthony! I've done two 53's. Just like any body work, 10 different Great Body Men will use 10 different methods to get the same Great results. 🤠👍
I’m excited to watch you do this project. And I think the classes are a AWESOME idea. You do such good work and I’m excited for others to see what you can do .
Ive taken the first step Sir, i just wanted to thank You and Give you all the credit. Thanks to Your videos. Im making surprisingly fair progress on my truck. Have a great day Sir and i love the chop
Yes! Ive always wanted to see you chop a top! I was screaming at my phone through Old Crow and Hookers and Blow builds to chop them lol! We are going to chop the rat rod build off truck 6 inches!! A bit extreme but thats what the colorado grown kid wants so I have to figure it out i guess lol. Car looks really cool!
I always forget to watch it the day of. Great video and the echo in the building disappeared. And haven’t heard any trains yet you must be timing it just right. The shop is looking great. And your office is getting there. Can’t wait For the Grand opening and car show Hint Hint 😅😊 Your taking this car to the next level. Oh Julie Happy Birthday 🎈🎁🎂
Just great as always. Curious on how you'll do the back window. But I guess I'll find out next video! This is going to be a sweet car. Too bad the other car became parts.. another one gone due to incapable persons.😢
When the time is right you may want to contact Karl Fisher. He’s a young guy who does fantastic work and does travel to put on classes for metal shaping
Hi enjoy your content, looking forward to the motor home conversation. Just a question could you take the bulging cab top off and install a more current flater type roof instead of doing a chop . The sceen and side windows dont look any taller than a modern sleek style car cheers from Oz
Love it Anthony great first episode and doing it the way people did before everyone thought you had to have a pulmax and such! When you start doing some class development, I would be interested in doing a paint class tools or something similar.
Hey Anthony, As I am not a big fan of chopping roofs I am glad it is you cutting up that car. I do see a couple spots that do not yet look completely lined up. Maybe you will stand back and see them as well, Or not. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
I am wondering about the slope of the rear screen, but I have every confidence... not entirely shared share by all judging by the sounds from behind the camera!
I addressed that in the video but bottom line is the cars and it's chassis are very solid. I knew from experience it would be fine . The doors opened and closed just as good with the top on as they did with it off

Nice! Yeah it's not a very hard one to do I say go for it!
Lookn good thanks for sharing. A chop class would be fun for sure.

Looks really good Anthony you make it look so easy

Thank you!
Very handy to have another car to scavenge pieces from! Lucky you!😊 Looking forward to seeing what you gonna do about a smaller curved windshield
Yeah that helps a bunch.
Sail panel looks pretty good was wondering if you were gonna have ta make a relief cut 👌👍✌️
It's nice to see someone not leaning the "B" pillar forward like everyone else.
I'm not much on doing what everyone else does!

Well done I enjoy you explaining everything that you’re doing you make it look too easy but it’s not. I appreciate what you’re doing. Good job.
Thank you sir!

Very interesting. I loved this!
Personally I like the wraparound rear window, but switching to the other style should make the chop easier. Good job!
Looking good.
Thanks 👍
Awesome video thank you for posting 👍🏼🇨🇦
Glad you enjoyed it
Great video thanks
Thank you for stopping by
Looking good gonna be a sweet ride
Thanks yeah we have some big plans for it!
So do you make a wooden or metal template of the quarter window opening so the other side will match?
You could I guess, but we just take a bunch of measurements
I like how you chop this
Thanks!
Looking good really agree on that back window and going away from the wraparound. Will look sick when you get it crushing cans!
Hell Yeah!
Awesome job thanks explaining
No problem! Thanks for watching!
It's look n good like it should on the hood of the 53 chev y
Haha
Nice

That's a great idea! I'd be down to come to a Karl Fisher class!
Karl would be a great addition to for sure.

I'm sure a guy could
like 4 !

Right on I'll cheap you posted!
Hey Anthony,
As I am not a big fan of chopping roofs I am glad it is you cutting up that car.

Julie said the camera was making something look off but it looks fine in person
I am wondering about the slope of the rear screen, but I have every confidence... not entirely shared share by all judging by the sounds from behind the camera!
I would really like to see a reverse chop. Add to the posts and make a cartoonish "big window" front.
Bring us a car and we can make your dreams come true!
Are you going to do anything about the weird V shape at the top of the rear window to the deck lid?
Oh yeah it will get all smoothed out!
Just Wondering. Why no bracing before you started choppin? Will there be alignment issue if the car flexes?
I addressed that in the video but bottom line is the cars and it's chassis are very solid. I knew from experience it would be fine . The doors opened and closed just as good with the top on as they did with it off
Yes I jumped the gun on that question. Hadn't got far enough in the video. Looking forward to the build I will be tuning in
It's all good
Do you cut the glass
@ericwilkes238 I haven't ever before but I might try it
And cut out some 63-64 Impala fender wells never mind I'm giving ya my ideas 😅
This is why you don't have your wife record 😂
Put a 59-60 dash in it
Like i said take a hair out a B pillar
Take a hair out B pillar
Tight work, although youre setting a bad example with using your "squint shield" eye protection 😅
I believe you screw yourself with the back window , you should have kept that back window frame in one piece ! Good luck with that back window
Didn't like the original back window, plan is to change it.
Hey STOP 🛑 you don't have bracing on inside of the car😮😮😮😮😮 w/o roof it u'll loose its shape
Somebody turn the woman's mic OFF!
for a chop top check out bellos
