That actually does sound good, and I’ve never tried to Make a green smoothie, but I’ve had a couple different ones from different healthy drink places… I’ll try to make this one, hopefully I make it correctly… I really appreciate it, and u
Hi Emily, Here is one of my favorite recipes. My mom gave this to me and I have been making it seemingly forever. Broccoli (and I add Cauliflower) Cheese casserole. 1/2 heads of brocc and cauli, just the top, not the stems), Steam until just crunchy and drain (15 or 20 minutes I think?). Cut 1/2 lb of velveeta cheese into small cubes. Put the veggies into a buttered casserole dish, spread the velveeta cheese cubes over top. In a pan melt 1 or 2 tbspns of butter, add 1/2 cup bread crumbs until they are all coated. Sprinkle over top of the veggies and cheese. Bake @ 350° until the crumbs are browned and the velveeta is melted. We used to have this with steaks, fried taters and salad for Sunday meals somethimes. Hpe you like it, Joe.
I'm worried about it not being sweet enough for my liking, could I add a date? Also, if I make the full recipe and save half for the next day, does it separate or get watery/weird in the fridge?
It’ll separate but you can mix it back together. I would recommend using it within 2 days of making it. You could always add additional fruit to sweeten it
You can just get the frozen green smoothie from the frozen section . And a small can of coconut water not the then you dont have to mess with so much ingredients which is hit or miss. You can add some chia seeds . There was no lemon peel in it
Yes, you could always make an entirely different recipe or use frozen if you want something different. There was no lemon peel included in this recipe. The lemon was peeled.
I’d like to maybe see what grilling recipes for a whole meal on the grill you can come up with… And meat’s not the only thing that can be grilled for the main course either if you don’t prefer to try to cook something else… I’ve actually been able to grill about 4 or 5 different dishes at the same time and I don’t have a side-burner on my grill either… but it’s got a Searer part though… That really comes in handy…
@@InTheKitchenWithEmily Cool!!! But try to get use to each part of the grill and how each part heats differently. I found out with my first gas grill that even though it’s supposed to heat the same way on each burner section that it doesn’t always. Sometimes the front heats better than the back and vice versa. And it also depends on the outside temperature too of how fast the grill heats up and how well it can cook a lot of the time. I’m kind of a flip griller so I try to watch the food closely so it can come out close to what someone wants it to be cooked to.
If you watch her original recipe video, she says that you can add things in if you like such as almond butter or protein powder, but those are optional. I chose to stick with just the basic recipe.
VERY high in fiber!!! That's the recipe I use...but I add a dash of sea salt and leave out the pear to cut down on the carbs...
Yeah, I don’t always use all the fruit in it but wanted to stick to the original recipe for this
Love that cutting board!!
Thanks!

This is Kimberley Snyder’s recipe. Reese Witherspoon made it popular after Kerrie Washington told her about it but it’s Kimberly’s recipe.

does it matter what kind of pear you use?
I don’t think it matters
Another great video. Keep growing your empire. Look out Martha Stewart.
Thanks!

The Grove Juicery is opening a second location, just FYI 😀
Nice!
Hi, you forgot to add the almond butter to the recipe

Makes Sense, Reese kinda looks like you
Haha, thanks!

Do you have a black cat? I think a black cat is really cute.
I do! She is very cute
You remind me of Reese
Thanks!
Love your videos and recipes but I'm gonna pass on this one. I'm still a big fan.
Haha no worries!
It would of been better tasting with the coconut water
Tastes the same
Jax is not an apple fan lol.
Nope!
