That rim was built with the same specs as the stock rim. I welded the bracket to the neck of the bike to bolt the fairing onto it like on the road glides and I posted another video with a a couple little changes.
I didn't know how many different kinds of aftermarket mods you could do to this thing. I have an 07 C50 and everything is still stock on it, except for the pipes (technically). they're still the stock pipes but I just de-baffled them since the stock pipes are so damn quiet. It sounds a little bit better now but I'm really considering getting a set of Cobra or V&H pipes if I can find a good deal on one, as well as a similar style fairing. I like the batwing style fairings more, like the ones on the street glide bikes.
Finally getting back with you. My front fairing bolted directly to the stock windshield mounting bracket. Is that how yours mounted as well, or did you have to do some major mods to get it to bolt on nicely?

You don't have to do anything to the fairing to make it fit, at least I didn't have to to fit a 1980 Tour Glide fairing to my VL800 (same bike only carb'd) the stock TourGlide/RoadGlide mounts use the crash bar and a protrusion from the frame to secure the fairing. There are aftermarket delete kits which eliminate the crashbar mounts for those that have crashbars like his or no crashbars at all.

I do not still own the bike. That’s the stock front fender and custom from rim fat 50 made by ridewright and the back fender I cut and extended myself.
