I honestly didn't know about the Steve McQueen heritage of this watch. But I saw the Designated Survivor 60 Days (Korean version) in 2020. The president in that movie was using this watch. It looks really classy and the blue face really captivated me. Last week, I finally took the plunged and bought it at the Tag Heuer store. I wish I would have done that in 2022 as it was around $2000 cheaper. This has been in my bucket list for years. I can check that off now.
What I was surprised with is how well it wears in my wrist. Also, the the leather strap and clasp wears perfectly well on my wrist too. It's lighter than I expected and just need the right party to wear this watch.
One of our editors ownd (and loves!) this watch and it is a true icon. To us, the Steve McQueen edition is one of the very best iterations of the Monaco around. Glad you managed to finally get one for yourself, enjoy it in good health!
