- Hey all, I’ve had lots of requests to do a walk around of my 1996 F-250 that is built up as an “overland” truck.
I picked this truck up a couple years back as a bone-stock, 7 lug hubcap wearing, horse hauler and started its transformation. We as a family have taken it out on many adventures and it’s performed flawlessly.
Here’s some of the parts/mods that have been done.

Thats one bad truck one of the best simple set ups i have seen!
Thanks! It’s a great truck that just does what it should and does it well!
Narrow tires are better off road because there is more psi per square inch of tire therefore more traction. Bad ass rig man I want that suspension for my 95
The suspension is so freaking nice, thanks for the compliment!
Awesome build brother!
Thanks man! Highly considered your 05+ swap before deciding to keep my TTB. Your work is awesome!
2:01 Honestly this has to be my favorite part on the truck. The round lights make the look.
3:28 I think the only reason I run a 12.5 wide tire is availability. Harder to get my hands on a 10.5 when I needed tires. I've come to the opinion that these trucks don't need a 12.5 wide tire. OBSs are reliability lite as trucks go and the 10.5 gives a better pounds per sq in on the traction end of things.
7:15 I want that kit for my truck :D Looks so cool.
Yeah I totally agree on the tire size and lights, just might want a change to the lights.
The suspension is the best thing you can do!
Looks sick man
Thank you!
Awesome truck, I’m looking at doing a lot of very similar stuff to what you have done to my 89 F250. I’m having trouble finding your light bracket on the front of your truck. Do you know if he is still selling those brackets?
He is, you have to message him on Instagram, he’s very hard to get a hold of. I’m working with another fabricator as so many are asking and unable to get through to him.
Can you tell me more about your axles and suspension? I have a 2002 F250 SD and I want to upgrade to a cool over setup, and either airbags or a Carli Racing rear suspension solution. What did you do to replace the twin I beam axel?
I didn’t replace the TTB, it’s still TTB Dana 50 but beams have been cut and turned by Solo Motorsports and then swapped in coil springs and buckets to replace the leaf springs.
Awesome build man, getting offered a deal on one of these thats no where near in this condition but for dirt cheap gerting insoired to send jt and byild something like yours
That’s awesome to hear! These are such great trucks
Is there a website to order that front light bar mount? I tried looking up Baja Racing Shop and couldn't find anything.
If you’re on Instagram you’ll have to reach out to him there: instagram.com/alexmurillo.bajaracingshop?igsh=YjlnZ3dwbjR3eG8z
Did you install the suspension yourself?
Yeah, installed it with a friend over a weekend in my garage with nothing more than floor jacks
@@mo_bronco thanks for the reply!! I’m definitely interested in this kit, I like the idea of the TTB suspension. Maybe I can shoot a video of mine if I get it installed haha
@Jbren323 it’s an amazing kit
How much is this truck worth? $$
I’m not sure to be honest, I never really considered selling it.
what mpg do you get?
I get about 17mpg. This is with 4.10’s
I'm lucky to get 12miles per gallon.
@nathankoroush7918 that’s rough, what spec is your truck?
@@mo_bronco 1997, 4 door long bed, 4x4, 7.3, auto, 4:10, 33"tires
@nathankoroush7918 4.10’s and 35’s is the perfect combo for RPM. I also don’t run mine much past 70 😂
what model joying is that
It’s their 8.8, they may have discontinued it!
@@mo_bronco is that double din or single
@USA01930 it’s a single din
