You could have one for every year the show has been on TH-cam! If you like the idea I want 1st printing of volume 1! LOL Signed by the whole gang! That would be incredible! Love the show! Honda XL600R - Fun fact, it has dual carbs on a single cylinder. One carb only has a main jet and is used for top end performance. Honda found that the smaller bore carb gave better control, atomizing for low end and the second carb made it run good on the big end.

I sure do miss my 1997 F350! Bought it from my brother for $7000. That was 15 years ago. Ruby had the Superchip and a big wide dually ass end. She was not 4-wheel drive, but would pull your house of it's foundation and halfway down the street! My wife drove her to work one day, some 14 year old kid was joy riding in mom's car and T-boned her just in front of the rear dually. Bent the frame and the rear-end. Ruby was totaled. I still regret not buying her back from the insurance company!! That 7.3 litre Powersrtoke is a BEAST!!! Beautiful truck you fellas just bought!!! Thanks for taking us with you!!!

This is a great truck! I have this exact model stock, no mods. It was actually my dads truck. We worked construction and put this truck through every test in Montana and still use it for towing tool trailers and skidsteers (also smaller front end loaders). Went to get a new battery for it and the owner offered to buy it on the spot from me. I could actually sell it right now for more than what my dad had paid for it brand new. I get offers on it all the time but I'll never sell it! Hauls, tows, and just runs like a beast with proper maintenance. Also, no fancy computers and easy to work on. The hood has a decent amount of space to get into without cutting up your hands, manual locking hubs, stick-shift for setting into 4 wheel drive, and fun to drive.
Another great truck - mid 2000's Nissan Titans - easy to grab knobs and controls for everything, especially if your hands or greasy or sweaty. Runs like a champ, wide tires, powerful, easy to work on, all around great truck that I prefer over Chevy/Ram/Ford/Toyota.

Dennis, loved that episode! Those aren't 1/2M mile trucks, they're MILLION MILE trucks. I've got a buddy that lives in Chesapeake, he's a diesel mechanic & he said he's seen those 7.3 DI Navstar motors (Ford Powerstroke) come in the shop, many of them: (his words,) with over a million miles on them with their original transmissions, never rebuilt. True story.
The 7.3 Powerstroke trucks are million mile trucks. My brother's '96 has 370k on it. My '01 has 218k on it. I'm running the 175 injectors w/the Hydra chip, Banks Turbo, Borla exhaust: the truck puts out 420 HP and can pass a Camaro SS !!!
Love the show. Thanks for honoring Ken Block btw, such a loss to the at large community 😔 God bless!
PS - Show factoid idea: I think as an inclusion to your content you should mention the market value on the vehicles you buy. You know these markets. KBB, Hagerty, etc.; you can't trust their valuations. Hearing your take on valuations, whether OEM, restomod, current condition, what have you, would help us amateur Joe's out here know what our stuff's really worth & would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the content brother. Keep it coming 😃 👍

I sold my 1997 F350 crew cab 7.3 long bed srw in 2022. 101k original miles barn kept. All stock, beautiful truck. Confession; I have never been happier to be rid of a truck than that 97. The maintenance was non stop. Fuel pumps, water pumps, sensors, 2 transmissions and constant fluid leaks. I say fluids because it was not just oil. About every 6 months I would take big blue to the shop to get all the fluid leaks fixed, $500 and 3 days later it would be leak free. WITHIN 3 MONTHS THEY WERE ALL BACK. this went on for the entire life of the truck. I love fords and love the 7.3 but I was burned to a crisp. Not knocking the truck in this video or any Ford loving American, I’m one too, but it is a pleasure to drive something that starts every time and has no monthly r+m.

THAT exact truck, or maybe even the dark green version… that would be the only Ford vehicle that I would ever buy.. of all the vehicles they ever made… THAT truck. Crew cab, 350 with that diesel, and long bed. I think they came lifted like that ..

I have the same I identical truck with a tan interior. From what I’ve seen the info you were giving could be wrong. Most of them came with 4:10 most of them came with Alcoa forged wheels most of them came with those exact mirrors and so on. All of them came with duel fuel tanks. Matter of fact most of the xlt trucks came with those exact same options. Just wanted to give u a heads up.

Great truck! I have a 1997 F250 regular cab with 292,000 miles 7.3 Powerstroke that I bought new, it is completely original, and has never had any work done on it. It has always been garage kept, almost looks new. Really like your video's.

I guessed yesterday that Dennis was picking up a Shelby today 👎
Ends up this 97 truck brings back loads of great memories of one I had.
Mine was a 97 F-250 4x4 supercab with a 460 / auto short bed , plow package front-end and heavy duty rear suspension. White with blue cloth interior and loaded with options.
That was one bad ass truck that would roast the tires ! 🔥

What’s up bud. I have a 89 dually single cab with a 460. Bought it with a bad transmission. It’s getting a rebuilt one rn. Are 460s dope bro? Don’t know what to expect when it’s going

@Alex absolutely 😀...but, they love gas ⛽️. I had mine from 1997-2001, so gas prices weren't crazy. I only had a 3.55 gears, If you have 4.10...ouch with the mileage.
      Goodluck with her my friend

I had 3 of these trucks, bought one brand new in 97. A standard cab 350 4x4 7.3 auto and two used 96 CC 7.3 350s, the last one being a 5spd. Never should’ve sold the brand new one, that truck never gave me a lick of trouble and despite the new owner beating the holy bejeezus out of it, the damn thing always ran for him too. The 5spd truck was as clean as could be. Never restored, just taken care of. Got it from a guy in Atonement FL. Had 300k on it but under 70k on the dealer rebuilt engine. I upgraded to flywheel to a one piece, new turbo impeller, better downpipe and 4” exhaust, put a better air box on it too. Those trucks cleared 35s with a leveling kit so it got that as well. White truck, tan interior which really grew on me. Had the small mirrors, 4.10s, helper leafs so I guess that meant camper package, power everything. These trucks were pretty commonplace here in SE WI and they all had dual tanks and all the diesels had factory block heaters so I’m unsure about his comments on those two things. I sold the truck for 2 reasons, one affecting the other. It developed a weird problem to where it wouldn’t charge the batteries once it got below 40 degrees, good luck diagnosing that problem and I tried. But I also started to miss the modern conveniences and creature comforts of the newer trucks. So the charging issue only fueled the fire to get something newer. They’re great trucks and I kinda wish I still had it

My moms 71 crew cab had those mirrors. She had the truck over 25 years. This white one is a very fine example. I dont mind the burgundy interior if the truck has a similar color there sexy the grey is nice too my cuz had 97 with a 351 long box white on blue auto it was roll up window s. But it went like stink and was fun to drive got alot of looks was sharp looking like this one.

I own a 1996 F-250 Powerstroke not a 4 door but has the super cab with less than 190,000 original miles, Oxford white, the big mirrors, dual fuel tanks, factory 16” aluminum wheels, long bed, xlt, automatic with automatic locking hubs, 3:55 rears, dark red cloth interior, only mods are straight pipes out the back, air cleaner and did away with the cobra head down pipe. I’ve had the truck since July of 2004 and it looks and runs perfect.
