तांदुळवाडी किल्ल्याचा दीड - दोन हजार वर्षांचा इतिहास १०० वर्षात नाहीसा झाला?

किल्ले तांदुळवाडी -
पालघर जिल्ह्यात, सफाळे गावापासून जवळ तांदुळवाडी किल्ला आहे. समुद्रसपाटी पासून १९०० फूट उंचीच्या या किल्ल्यावरचे सर्वात मोठे आकर्षण म्हणजे किल्ल्यावरील पाषाणात खोदलेली पाण्याची टाकी.
किल्ल्यावर भटकंती करताना हे किल्ल्यावरील अवशेष आपल्याशी काही बोलू पाहतात. जसं ही कातळात खोदलेली टाकी आपल्याला हे सांगतात, की या किल्ल्याचे अस्तित्व साधारण सातवाहनांच्या काळा पासून असावं.
म्हणजेच साधारण १८०० - २००० वर्षांचा इतिहास असू शकेल.
पण याची पुष्टी, आपल्याला आज कुठल्या कागद‌पत्रातून किंवा अजून कुठल्या ऐतिहासीक दाखल्यातून करता येत नाही.
तांदुळवाडी किल्ल्याचा इतिहासात उल्लेख आढळतो तो १३ व्या शतकात. १३व्या शतकात, राजा भिमदेव याचे राज्य पश्चिम किनाऱ्यावर आले आणि तांदुळवाडी किल्ला राजा भिमदेवच्या अखत्यारीत आला.
किल्ल्यावर जाणारी वाट ही गर्द रानातून जाते. विविध जातीची वृक्ष आपल्याला तांदुळवाडी किल्ल्यावर पाहायला मिळतात
