Medieval Geopolitics : How was Shivaji Maharaj's relations with Europeans?

Today, foreign policy, also known as external policy, is a country's strategies and actions that guide its relationships with other countries, international organizations, and unions. It's a combination of global issues, relationships with other countries, and domestic politics. But all this was relevant even in historical times and especially during the medieval period when the expansionist powers had set out to conquer more and more land.
