I would also recommend always carrying bandages, specially one of each dressing, you never know when you gotta need one of those, and always cut the Quassia Amara tree when you see one, those cure you from fever, or if you are lucky enough, always carry some painkillers with you, they treat everything (-5 fever, -5 Food poisoning and -1 Venom)

Loud voices heart pounding, but finally after about an hour I figured it out and got better 😂 it was satisfying figuring it all out though
The drug lab and fishing dock have a calendar with a picture of a parrot or macaw on it on one of the walls. You can save your game here without having to rush to build a shelter to save. Not sure if you missed that or whether that wasn’t in the game when you recorded this.
When you get to the Dock 51 19 follow the coast & look out for turtles, the shells are basically tin pots, fit in collecters & fires & great for making meat & bone soup, so farm some to dish around your camps

For real? You know approaching a given location from opposite directions means one person's left is the other person's right! Use cardinal directions, that's LITERALLY what they're for! I know right, there's a All Blueprints Location video, he shows the coordinates for every blueprint EXECPT the weapon rack. For whatever reason he gives not coordinates for it and says "ReFeRenCE SpOt" like just say the coordinates and we won't need the reference spot
Good video, helped a lot, BUT the super speed parts make it difficult to see exactly which directions you're taking from point A. to B. etc. Maybe pause a second before you head off, show the watch so we see which direction you're heading? Just a thought. Great help btw

how do you have all those different options to build on day 1? also that passage isn't open until you drink the ayahuasca i first built a basic hut shelter where i started by the river until i got enough health, tools, supplies and coconuts. then i moved to that first abandoned camp and built a frame with banana roof so i could save at that location. basically each time i move to a new location i build a structure so i can save the game. when you open your notebook on day 1 you don't have a ton of things you can choose from to build so that's why i'm asking how you have all that stuff :) maybe this is possible after you've played the game for awhile and know how to do everything but for someone just starting this game there's no way in hell they could do this lol.
the game has updated. you will find gas in the jeep. use it in the generator to power the elevator and access the drug facility, so you can have access to the climbing hook

Is there a set respawn rate for trees/bamboo? I’m building at Drug Lab and I’m curious if I can expect to see things regrow or if I should get used to hauling ass a long ways away for building materials. Thanks.
Just recently started playing and had the same issue. Start out by setting up some coconut bowls and keeping them laid out in the open where they collect rain water, then setup two stone traps in the beginning area with the iron ore vain. The lizards frequent there and will get caught easily. Setup down by the river and spearfishing is easy, plus access to water source which can be heated at a fire. You will find enough carbs in mushrooms and bananas, the hardest part will be finding spawns for fat sources. Finding fats will take some regular exploring.
@@PIeasantPain Just drink dirty water and eat the orange and blue mushrooms lol, Fats are in hazel nuts and there's a spawn for them right where my base is, also unknown nuts have a bit of fat as well. Those pig things give a LOT of protine and fats as well I think I'm not sure. When hunting steady your aim with the bow and shoot them in the head it's an instant kill and you can get your arrow back. And small sticks and feathers are so abundant I actually have to have multiple mud furnaces to get rid of all my wood. Bird corpses spawn a lot where I live so feathers and meat aren't a problem. Hell I think the location I chose to build in could possibly be one of the most OP spots lol. (My base is on a little hill right next to the river at 48'W 26'S.) There's also a lot of snails there as well so that's protine. And being right next to the river just fill a bidon with water and cook it at a fire to make it clean. Also get the pottery table as quickly as you can too, not only can you use it to make molds for iron tools but you can make big bowls to catch larger amounts of rain water and make bottles which hold 100 water and are lighter than coconut bidons. Use water you catch in rain collectors to fill the bottles.
Installed GH again to check the progression of the game. Died 3 times before I got the hang of it again. Playing on normal difficulty. The game have come a long way already. But the centering mouse action all Unity game has is annoying. Wonder why no game developer see this as well. Same thing in No Man's Sky also, and a lot of other games made on the Unity engine..

Why developers don't get irritated and annoyed by this themself is something I never have understood. But hey, it never got fixed so they obviously don't see the issue. On another issues with unity is most EA games comes with keyboard mapping non existing. I have never used WASD. Those basic features should be in place before they launch to EA and platforms like Steam. But the gaming industry live their own life with no standards and no control so they don't give a F. Lol.
You can live in literally any spot on the map. Just clear an area of trees and cut the stumps so they don't grow back. If you can fit the things you need to survive you can live there. Hell if I remember correctly you could live like right on top of a river. oo and using mud to create roofs and walls you can build multiple story houses
I've always been very supportive of this channel, but I really do NOT recommend anyone who wants to start to play Green Hell to watch this video :( Too many spoilers and basically, starting the game as a fresh new player with this video, would ruin COMPLETELY the process of exploration. Basically, no point to play a survival game if someones gives you the best locations with coordinates and the best items in the first 5 minutes. However, yes it can be a good video for someone who did already a first playthrough in the past and wants to start again on a new save with a reminder of where are the important stuff.
The entire purpose of this video was to see how to get to these locations but you covered that up with a bunch of words which was stupid in my opinion. Its more important on how to get there not just showing us the coordinates. Some locations are not reachable early on

But for a fire it needs a roofed shelter. There are no calendars in SoA too.

Started in 2nd map but it still takes me like 4 days just to get the bidon and the pot.
King of the jungle really add more natives than normal though.
I was playing with a friend to finish the story and he had the pan and ended up dying and the pan disappeared, would there be no way to get it again?
The map 1 spawns at the Drug Facility now. So, by the grill, on the lawn chair. There is a map there now!

In story mode you have to make fire under the ritual bowl, but in survival the passage is open.
