Be aware that the Devs have been very active in updating Enshrouded since I made this video and some of this information is no longer correct/relevant. Most of the tips will still be of value though! Hope you're all enjoying the Frozen Frontier update!
Most channels give up 5-10 useless tips and stretch it into a 20 minute video. You gave us 38 tips and the video is just under 10 minutes. Props to you
i watched this not expecting to learn anything new, since im already level 6 and a little bit into the game. however, almost every single tip took me by surprise, and i love how clear and concise each one was. amazing video.
Nice vid. Other tip videos I've watched say asinine things like "Eat food for buffs" (duh...) but watching this I actually learned valuable things that are not so obvious. Thanks a ton. :)
The barrows tip is a life saver for me. I also found that the smallest trees in the Revelwood forests give each 2 twigs. Using up an entire axe nets you roundabout 150 twigs.
You can also place a larger block IE: Foundation over large sections of an existing house. When you remove it you get your blocks plus any blocks inside. Same as removing dirt with blocks except it gives the new blocks.
This game is so good.. it really feels open world. I can mine stairs out of the earth when I get stuck.. you can take over a home as your base, the building is truly amazing. love it
Two pointers everyone should know if they didn't already: The Ring of Rapacity is stupid broken for mages and can be found in Willow Crush in the Revelwoods underneath one of the grinding mills. Makes mana costs null Second is that if you don't have quite enough height when gliding, you can actually spam the Updraft ability by using the aforementioned ring to regen the mana and mid-air cancelling and gliding again instead of touching the ground to have Updraft available. Make sure you don't have a shield/ward equipped when doing this though because it gives you a second or two before you can glide instead of instantly
Yup, The Ring of Rapacity is so broken. Late game become mages playtime, because they dont need consumes item like arrow (after got Eternal Spell). Ranger's arrow is pain in ass to get enough materials
These are some of the best tips I have heard for Enshrouded I only knew about 40% of them. One thing I would caution when playing co-op with friends and have a base close by to each other is NOT to use the magic chest! If one of you has a magic chest all other players will have access to and automatically use your items in that chest. So if you have any rare resources that you have worked very hard to farm, they can be gone in a flash without you knowing it just due to proximity. I have a base right next to my friends, and we make sure to evenly split all treasure and resources. He built a magic chest before I did and when I went to build something on the workbench it listed items available that I did not have on me. The same thing is true for crafting with an NPC.
@@beargrylls6135 Uh no. It has nothing to do with being cheap, we each separately bust our a$$ getting $hit, most of which is very hard to come by early game. Neither of us want to share our personal stash of rare items especially after we already split all the resources and loot while adventuring together. Neither my friend nor I want double dipping. It. is a problem that needs to be addressed by the devs. Also tombstones should have characters names over them so if a party is wiped each player knows which marker is theirs. That is another issue.
Fantastic video and great tips! I've learned a lot of this the hard way over the past few weeks, but taking over buildings with the flame altar isn't something I had thought of before. Thanks!
oh wow it was so frustrating to have to go back to my main base just to have to walk allllll the way back to where i was... thank you for making this video you are a lifesaver!!!!!!!
on the topic of blocking with a shield: im not sure if anyone noticed but with a shield and a wand you can hold rightclick to block and then just leftclick to attack, your character will just shortly drop the shield but immediatly raise it again, im not sure if ive just gotten incredibly lucky so far but i havent been hit by a single attack while doing this even with 3 or 4 enemies, (ofc this only applies to individual attacks not combo attacks, if you attack in the middle of a combo attack you will eat that combo)
Glad you liked it! Those Dex nodes are sneaky, it also means whilst the Beastmaster tree is kinda meh there is 4 Dex nodes tucked away in there - flat 20% is pretty nice.
Jars with lids have things in them. Jars without lids don't. So just break the lidded jars to get the goods. When traveling, use the flame at the center-top of towers to set a spawn point at that tower. You can also sit at that spot to get the rested bonus as well incase you died or to get your rested bonus back.
On the topic of taking over a building. So far the best place I've found to grab is Far Away Fray tavern in Bristlebush. It's comfort level is 45 or 46! The way I've got my character skilled up, they get a 56 minute rested buff!
I haven't actually dived into building heaps yet just made a function little base and left it at that - was too enthralled by exploring and fighting haha definitely on the to-do list
For #5: Use 4x4 foundations instead of the small square available in the first menu. I prefer rough wood foundations since they're so cheap. Simply build the foundation over a wall or floor and delete it. It'll pick up all the materials incuded in the chunk, so long as you know the recipe for the block type. Much faster than deleting 2-4 pieces at a time and allows you to completely deconstruct a building in minutes to use the blocks elsewhere, such as for a large build. Delete your altar when you're done and the building will respawn later for you to farm it again.
I went Beastmaster on my initial play and from what I could tell, the Stop Guarding / Start Guarding toggle was to tell the animals / Vukrah to not defend you (or at least, to not stop and stare at you constantly - but instead 'go about your business'). I haven't tested it beyond toggling it to 'Stop' and watching them seem to walk about as if I wasn't there.
When I activate start guarding they definitely follow me for a while. If I got too far too fast or glide around I'll lose them but at walking pace they follow for ages. Patching is a bit funky on them though
my biggest mistake on my first playthrough was "I haven't used this resource that's been sitting in my chest for the entire game, I'll just delete it to save space" only to find out I need a shit load of it later in the game, save yourself the pain and horde literally everything
Farming pro tips - turn on snapping for maximum space efficiency. Also, as soon as you get fertilized farm soil, you can use it as a building block to make a fertile, perfectly flat, open farming area. Wish I had known that a long time ago.
When you upgrade your magic chests take your obsolete small ones and stick them next to your crafting furniture. You can empty out the furniture without having to haul your materials all over your base. They are plenty big enough for the output of a few pieces of furniture.
Yeah same! Otherwise I think they've done a great job making combat feel really smooth and fluid - but occasionally I dodge and still get hit and think nahhh I shouldn't dodged that
@@WilstormGaming the trees regrow on restart of they aren't within a flame shrine. Just like all the other resources. Makes for the fastest twig farm ive seen to date. I just hope they introduce something like wood logs to twigs. Cause as it is, you spend 30 mins farming for twigs to get enough arrows for 2 or 3 points of interest until you need to farm again lol.
*_Question to tip #5_* After deconstructing existing buildings and removing the flame altar afterwards, will the constructions "respawn" or are those resources "limited"?
I get easily frustrated on my newbie toon, at least 3 mins in u have given me alot of great tips TY!!! Question about the flame alters. Are you saying they can be made as your own fast travel points?
I want to know how you blink away from enemies so fast. Do you use controller? I prefer the jump and glide method because blink is not actually a teleport and doesn't work when cornered/surrounded. Still looks cool though.
I'm surprised double jump isn't on this list. I just started playing the game about 2 weeks ago and almost quit because of the amount of impossible vertical terrain the glide trick does not work on. I saw the double jump skill and it completely changed the feel of the game and I rarely have issues climbing anything now. It's a very simple thing, but it made a huge impact on my gameplay.
In the south eastern most area of the map sits a glider that really lets you glide through the air. Too bad you can only get it late game or bypass the shroud and create your stairway to heaven.

Thanks! I tried to keep it short and sharp so I'm glad you appreciated that!

Sameeee great start to the game ty!
This is probably the only useful Enshrouded tip video that I’ve watched and I’ve watched dozens.
I have watched so many Enshrouded vids. There have been some great ones but this is BY FAR the most helpful one I have seen. Thank you.
Agreed. This is gold
I have to agree with everyone else, this vid is great for beginners and shows how much detail the game really has

Absolute game changer when I found out. Bulk make like 500+ arrows at a time.
On the note of twigs - animal dens give LOADS of twigs when you mine them out.
Best compilation of tips that are really not obvious. Great work!

Some awesome tips in this video! Still learning after nearly 100 hours!
Great tips, short video. Very much appreciated!
Glad you enjoyed it!
For Number 5: you only get the block when deconstructing it if you already knew how to make that block, otherwise you will just get stone.
Ahhh so if its a material you have unlocked yet you won't get the block, just stone? Makes sense I guess
You can also place a larger block IE: Foundation over large sections of an existing house. When you remove it you get your blocks plus any blocks inside. Same as removing dirt with blocks except it gives the new blocks.
