I hope to do it eventually. I'm stuck in a Storm at Sea made with my 12" Qube that I need to finish. I sorted my scraps last fall so I know I have enough.
I'm still working on 2 quilts I started when I was pregnant. My daughter is 4 now! They aren't forgotten about, I'm just taking a detour. I will be an avid follower of the quilt along, I will just quilt it vicariously through you and your followers. Looking forward to it.
Love your new business model offering both methods to suit everyones needs/preferences and happy to see you not overextending yourself. You are an inspiration (and definitely a fiber artist).
I had just finished saying "i need to go to the fabric store" when you told me I was not to do that, but was to shop my own stash. Dug thru the stash. Found perfect scraps. Thank you for saving me $ and for helping me use up some scraps.
I have quilting commitments this year that have nothing to do with scraps. But I am totally keeping this in mind for the future and I will be following along vicariously.
Well, this will be interesting for me. Most of my strips are REAL scrappy strips for want of a better term - that is to say they are all different widths and lengths. I have a few jelly roll strips I don’t know what to do with but I may have to build most of my strips. It may take me a year to do what you do in a month. I am determined to do more than watch. Wish me luck ❣️
OOOoooo I like the orange one and the 3 by 4 arrangement for main flat area of the top of the bed. Spaced out extras for the pillow cover. Lots of borders.... maybe even surround border of smaller same motifs. You've got my brain scheming ))) Never bought pre-cuts, but could cut from big bin of random bits per color. I've been scrolling for an orange one I really like. ))) Watching with delight.
Sorry it’s a quilty term - it means ‘looks white’ basically. So even though there is a print on the fabric and it isn’t all white it still reads white from a distance. Hope that makes sense!
Will you be quilting along?

@laurastratton8614 whenever you are ready it will be here!

@elaineforan4751 😂 yup babies/kiddos have that effect on other projects don’t they! Thanks for watching along! 💕
Such a fantastic pattern! Really thinking about this.
What a nice way to set log cabin blocks. And I love the tiger lamp behind you. What fun 😊
Thank you!
Oooh, I am excited to see how your quilts turn out! ❤❤❤

Oh fab! So glad you found good stuff in your stash!
Looking forward to the quilt along.
I have a lot of leftover low volume scraps from a previous project. This is perfect! I'll be participating. Thank you, Kristin.
Yeah!

Thanks for watching!! 💕
Sorry, I have about 8 projects in the works right now so I’m going to just watch. Great idea to use all of our scraps.
No worries! Thanks for watching along! 💕
Thank you. ♥♥♥
Looks great😊
Yes I will make something and follow along-maybe placemats and/or table runner
Pretty pattern
Thank you!

Yes you don’t need precuts that was just to give folk a ballpark - cutting from scraps is perfect!
I am excited to try the bargello block! It looks so pretty!
I love that one too!
Will try
I AM 🎉❤😊
Yeah!
What do you mean by, low volume fabric? Do u mean the weight of the fabric or something else? Thanks 😊

Ok, got it, thanks.😊
Can we make strips out of our scraps?
Absolutely!
That's my question too since I never use jelly rolls.
@laurastratton8614 yes - you don’t need that length -I was just using it to give an estimate for folk!
@@laurastratton8614 same
@@ScrapFabricLove Thanks. Going to be fun especially now we know your listening and answering. Again, Thanks.
Is it possible to make a smaller size ?
Yes of course! If you make fewer blocks you can size it down easily.
I think I will make placemats, or at least try it that way first.
Fab! That’ll be great! Glad you can sew along your own way!
