      They've suggested that gross margin should still be ~20%. But the answer is yes.
      At the moment, this doesn't matter. Tesla's current goal is maximising volume and bringing prices back down to normal levels.

      yes but too hard to calculate by how much. alot of cars delivered in Q4 were ordered on lower prices earlier in the year. alot of commodity deflation in Q1

      If you watch all of investment day, you know they got a lot of cost cutting in the works, 48 volts wiring, 1000 dollars drive train, 4800s batteries ramping, - each one once implemented will increase margins even with price cuts.

      True, but you have to account for the increase on thousands of orders that wouldn't had been placed if the price remained high (including mine).

      Profit per car drops but profits over all may rise.

    You should follow the Tesla stock in USD as it’s from that country, not in EUR.
