My Son was in a car accident in March 2019. The car he was riding in went through a fence and a piece of that fence went into the right side of his scull. He has all of the issues that you describe and seems to be in denial about his TBI. Although he is doing remarkably well I wish he would agree to see a neuropsychologist . He says he doesn’t need a Doctor. Any advice would be appreciated. I loved your video, I will share with my husband and other two Sons to help them understand why there Brother asks the way he does.
Actually my sister age 25 had bike accident on April 8 2022. Till then she is recovering. However. She still can not be independent and need daily assistance. She has memory problems. She wants to go college. But she can’t remember what she learn just now. So anyway to help her. Thank you
Thank you for your reply. This is about 1.5 years after the injury. I would recommend cognitive exercises to stimulate thinking and thought processes, and compensatory strategies to assist with any deficits. Has she undergone formal neuropsychological testing? This is several hour long battery of tests given by a neuropsychologist, and it may help to determine which cognitive domains are most affected. Based upon this, cognitive therapy and rehabilitation may possibly be undertaken. I wish the very best for your sister, and for her improvement through this healing process… GK. @@lobsangnamgyal1207

My symptoms mirror Mr F. Gage
Which number did you call to schedule an appointment?
Thank you Sir well said, is there any treatment for it?
Thank you for your question. Are you referring to TBI in general, or any specific aspect of it?
