Excellent effort. A few points: A Star Destroyer would be pumping out a lot more fire than that. The X-Wings move faster than that in the SW universe. More Ties would be despatched, not just a small handful. The transport's turret needs to be more active - we saw Leia's Blockade Runner actively trading shots with the Destroyer in the original SW movie, so there's no reason this one wouldn't be doing likewise, even with its X-Wing screen. Still, a great little movie at a good visual level, and the music score was one of the best fan made one I've heard on YT. Keep up the good work!
This is really good stuff! Your space lighting is great. If I could make one suggestion I would say animate the flight paths of the fighters a bit faster and add some movement to them in the graph editor and the tilt function.
It would be cool to see the tie fighters a bit more accurately depicted, their whole design revolves around how they are extremely mobile and very difficult targets to hit, not only would it be more accurate to the lore but it would also make the fight scene more intense, other than that its really great and especially the lightning you had on the ISD made it almost look photo real

Wow, the cinematography on this was amazing as well as the animation!!! This is beautiful. You made it feel like you had the film movie feel and it wasn't just a very flat ship moving through a black screen. Awesome job! I hope to get to this level one day!

I appreciate seeing the Corvette take a shot; most videos play them lame. However, the Shield Dome shot was maybe a touch overzealous. I also noticed the model tracking on the X-wing as the ships crossed over the star destroyer. Still a very excellent short!
My favourite touch is the "over exposure" of the ISD - Great realistic lighting, something we haven't seen in star wars before (everything's always "perfectly lit"). It reminds me of the lunar landing - even in shadow the astronauts were well lit due to light bouncing off the dark grey moon, which also looked extremely bright. Great stuff!
This looks amazing. The only thing that could've marginally improve it would be speeding up the action a little bit, as the fighters look a little sluggish.
Pro level graphics/models, truly outstanding! Just a little critique, movement of the ships and especially the laser fire is just a bit slow for pursuit. Also try to adjust travel paths of the fighters to not reflect orientation and speed alone, but accommodate for weight vs momentum. It should take a second for the ships to adjust their paths after heading changes. It all looks beautiful. Hopefully this will get noticed and lead to bigger and better things. I'm looking foreword to seeing more.
Minor nits... it feels like the shield generator on the star destroyer should be more durable than a couple of x-wing laser strikes and the shield lock on the tie-fighter seems to be missing that slight vibration when it locked onto the ship... but this looks pretty amazing.
Very well done! If I can scratch in two small notes: 1- the flight speed of the X-Wing and TIEs is a bit slow and 2- the scale of the fighters vs the Star Destroyer is a bit off... Both minor points though! This looks amazing! :P

Being picky speed of the star fighters is a bit slow and the destroyed shield generator could of trailed a bit of debris/smoke

This was even more one sided than your standard George Lucus film. This couldn't even happen in video games on easy mode.

nice... the biggest problem with the empire was they had no educated engineers for their designs. Vital hard points with minimal shields if any.
