I am, currently struggling in this thing i so desperately wanna make kurfurst work because i am a big fan of german battleships and most importantly the high tier ones where you can go full secondary ham on the enemy ships. i got so much info on how to play this thing.. My advice: leave it. Just go and play another line. BBs are in a bad spot general and German BBs are particularly shafted in this regard. Just leave it, knowing that you have another tier X ship and be done with it. You cannot go close range because you'll be focused down, you cannot spam from afar because of spread and your deck is so HUGE it basically has TWO post codes. You'll be HE'd to death. If you want to push -> russian BBs If you want kite -> UK BBs Yamato gun sound? -> use the Yamato (duh), and not the 420's

It's not quite a Montana not just because of the sigma, but the special USN dispersion module. So if you're driving KM BB without the normal dispersion module the difference will be quite. You can't get the big dispersion bonus of USN but you can get a normal one. So taking 20% secondary range over it something I'll never understand. A secondary Kurfurst might work because of the pen value, however take your average game, see how much dmg secondaries did, then take out how much you did with them between 9.something and max range - that's what the module enabled. On the other hand if you had dispersion mod, you'd have at least one troll volley less in the game, and that's some real damage. Just one pen is worth 4k.
Shotgun main battery that means you need to get in close but you can spot it from the goddam moon. Nothing like taking 15k through your superstructure and deck when you can't hit shit when its broadside at 15km. The utility of turtleback is completely overblown these days

My GK has been out twice in the last year. Until they give the Germans even half the credit they deserve when it comes to building firearms, taking it out is hopeless. It's only purpose is to hold down Tier 10 until the new new Tier 10 comes out.
It would be more historically accurate for Germans to have something meta worthy that is superior to others given that most of the German technology at the time was cutting edge and lethal compared to other nations gripped by the great depression etc.
And i see you are using the legendary module on the kurfurst is i treally useful? because alreay th e main battery firing range is lackluster on the kurfurst

It bothers me that the chance of fire is dictated by the shell... not fuel lines, magazines, or any material the ship is made of. The shell dictates it, kinda stupid imo
U can use instead concealment AFT and Fire Prevention so u have good sec range and fire protection this 2 kilometers is not important because u have to be at the front

Do you consider yourself a fair player even if you use mods? Because, being a fair player also means making sure that everyone has the same possibility of winning, and there can't be a fair game if people are using mods or hacks. The match is no longer pure anymore. It was a sincere question. I want to know what you have to say.
secondaries may not do a lot of dps, but the psycological effect of it is good. People back off, when they are hit constantly.
CV's and HE Spam is killing this game.. .added to the relentless torpedoes.

the thing is even thought it says it have same fire resistance as other T10 BBs, it feels Gk catches fire more often

DD's and light cruisers can just melt BB's with ease.

@@chris8878 also for instance the Tirpitz/Bismarck were far superior in terms of quality than the Yamato

Actually, in this video you are using the range mod (not the legendary) with the 406's given the range on your map and the reload.

Kurfurst needs 4 x quad 8km torps
U can use instead concealment AFT and Fire Prevention so u have good sec range and fire protection this 2 kilometers is not important because u have to be at the front
