- Today for the first time in my WoWS playing time, I was accused of cheating in the Shimakaze while running the F3 + legendary mod build ! New achievement unlocked, I didnt know this was possible!

You dont have to. You can use chat to ask someone to do or not to do something. Deliberately ramming someone is a rude move, even if you are a YT-er or streamer.
That hackusation shows how powerful RPF is when used properly.
Tbh I just switched to RPF on Shima and HOLY SHIT my winrate is now absurd. It's so good. Still not sure switching to 8km is better than 12km but... RPF for sure.
@@dzello 12KM is the best 8KM is to situasional it work when enemy charges at you.
@@dzello The 8 km torpedoes are ok, but the 12 km are just so much better, they give you so much more versatility.

Being accused of hacking is the finest achievement there is. WG should add a achievement for that. When you get a blind fire shot in or blind torps you should get the achievement hack accused.
An achievement for sinking an unspotted ship that wasn't spotted for over a minute would be nice.

i play legends, the other day i hit a gearing that had been sitting un spotted in smoke for over a minute with my yammy and killed him from 15km away, i’ve never been that excited in a game
Smart players: Lets not just jump straight into the cap when there are gun boats and radar cruisers.
Everybody else behind smart player: *Pretend to be a WW1 general trying to bayonet your ass into no mans land and get you killed*

Pompous and self-absorbed streamers: wtf, this player who's been maintaining a steady course for over a minute while I gradually turn into his path is clearly trying to push me into the cap! Doesn't he realise that I always have right of way?

True, however on lower tier DDs, or when there's no radar and you know you have a fast DD, I sometimes do exactly the opposite! Full power and engine boost right from the start, second one! Then letting the boat become the fastest in game very quickly and I choose the optimal capping course with min to no correction, so I don't lose speed. You cap first and you can deal with any possible DDs. I've even seen Flamu doing exactly this on another video. I guess it all depends...

This shows the benefits of unusual builds that seem too dumb to be true. The Gearing "knows" you can't possibly play that well AND be dumb enough to run F3/Legendary Shima, so your rapid torpedo reloads is suspicious. They were probably smart enough to calculate your normal torp reload times and plan accordingly. I think the Stalingrad at the end was sure your torps couldn't be up yet so he could safely yolo around the corner & kill you before they came up. But then (suspiciously!) your torps were already up! HAX CONFIRMED!!!

@@jc-hf1bk today was tone deaf Tuesday, where dmc music is played at the expense of viewer donos, so Flamu usually removes past streams from Tuesdays so he doesn't have to deal with dmc copyright claims against his twitch channel.
That mod also increases the chance of torpedo tube damage, knowing my luck that rush on the yamato could have ended very differently.
Saw this live. My thoughts then were the last carry this hard was done by Atlas.

I did that once on my shima. 6km torps that are like lasers.
It’s brutal to play because you have to yolo every torp run cause 6km is far too close 😬 400m to stealth fire with radar and cvs 😂😂
@@KimwPerks I convinced another streamer to do it once in a while back in a ranked game and he carried it with 100k+ damage and a devstrike on a Montana. This was before they added the torpedo upgrade in the slot so now it has something like 85knts with TA tho.
Message that dude back, “Get better. Learn what RPF and legendary mod does”
He did reply to him basically saying that he was very honored or some such, which Flamu translated to Russian using something like Google Translate so who knows what it actually said.

I was accused of having an aimbot in ranked this past weekend. I deleted a Smolensk in my Stalingrad when he ran aground. P.S. all these thumbs up for deleting a Smolensk!
how the hell aimbots work in this game anyway? its not like there is hitscan.
@@CesarinPillinGaming I don't know, my shot when he grounded went all around him. Left right short and over... he started to back up.. I aimed just over his rear turrets, accused me of cheating in-game chat.
I think there is an extra small box for you to hit accurately and that small box is always locked in the citadels. Pretty much useless cheat.
@@theposeidon6266 it is indeed, has shots have travel time in this game. The only useful would be with russian ships at close range. Like the Petrops.

I guess for all that Gearing's decent play he doesn't understand what RPF does. And even further, he can't read, because it says he's been located on his screen.
Not gonna lie, i kinda wish it was double edge sword, ya it shows you the way the closest enemy is, but all the enemy gets is a "located" white arrow which is about as useless as getting detected in a dd 90% of the time, kinda wish it gave you a VEGUE idea of where it was coming from, surely its not that hard to trace.
@@jaywerner8415 in a division, or even just by changing course and speed while looking at the indicator, you can often deduce where the enemy is.
That secondary dmg from the Yamato in the last hit was too much, probably was the CL secondary guns but I guess rng hated you there, you could have survived. (Maybe even secondary Yamato??)
Is secondary Yamato viable?
it was unfortunate but not unexpected, Yamato 155mm guns have IJN HE alpha which is very high, at that range dispersion is not that bad and he(flamu) was not moving making hitting him easier.
@@igoryst3049 Secondary spec Yamato was actually a thing a few years ago. They’re still decent guns. They’re just not viable because Yamato shouldn’t get that close at all.
@@Cailus3542 I dont know why Flamu wait with that salvo so long, that Yamato had 75k HP, 2x5x21k+ is over 210k potential dmg, even with Yama 55% torp dmg reduction he would still die, 5s earlier and Flamu would survive.
@@igoryst3049 Probably not, but it doesn't really matter. In reality people that try to really understand and master this game are a miniscule minority. I played a lot with a dude who used secondary builds on RN BB's, exclusively shot full AP broadside and always wondered why his shells were bouncing and enemies were getting pens/cits on him. Most people just want to see big ship go boom and honestly I can respect that, it's just a shame matchmaking mixes everyone together.
For the longest time I only used RPF on my gun boats, and now it’s a major must even for my torpedo boats, those preemptive torpedoes has caught so many DD’s or any ship for that fact. Even though this is an older replay, I really enjoyed it.

I just love the F3 Torps on the Shima. Without the Legendary mod I still get 84kn and 100sec reload. Even the German Hydro can't avoid all of them...

We've always has "suspicions" about you're "activities", Flamu. XD
I ran the F3 Legendary Mod combo in Shim for Ranked with pretty good effect. I think a lot of people ended up getting wise to it since the torp hits dropped off rapidly after the first week. But I was drunk with power for that first week.
Good video as always. love the content Flamu. Could you make a Yugumo video? I prefer it to the Shima because of the concealment, but I love to play both.
Now for something you'll hate me for. I choose not to use RPF because I never agreed with the skill. Yes, I know I'm handicapping myself. However I'm a DD main, specifically an IJN DD main and the skill never felt right to me. I guess I felt it took away from the stealth DD gameplay.

Every time someone complains about hacking in general or towards me it is always ALWAYS the most manchild sounding rants that basically proved they do not know the game.
I remember a shima game where dude said I was hacking because my det was so low... when pushing him he was a backlining Monty. But yeah I’m in a shima... like bruh.

The only thing changed from that time is that no longer you deal 0 damage to full saturated section but instead only 10%

So, I don't even have it yet, *and* I'm a staggeringly average player, but I've gotta ask: WTF was that enemy Halland thinking, putting itself so close to so much danger, so early in the game?
Like, it's got 15k torps with insane speed, but no smoke and almost no ability to disengage because of its terrible top speed, so why would it push straight into a cap, way out in the open?
Is there something I'm missing, here?

From the time the Stalin died to the the time you reached the bow of yamato the yamato had time to swap to HE had he done that he would of killed you in the one shot. Funny how even moments of greatness rely on misplays of your opponents.

The level of play you see these days has been rather questionable. These days?!!! For YEARS the majority of the player base has been time to go wheeeeeee and shoot things. They do not care about winning just getting huge damage hits like a junkie looking for a fix. And they play to get that rush as fast as possible even if they lose their ship and the game. As for being reported .. well you did keep figuring out where the enemy was. While that was just far better than most instincts on how people play, to others it looks like you are using a position hack as you seem to KNOW where the other ships are.
NIcely done, funny enough your gun damage alone is about the average total damage of a decent potato... Love the hackusation, used to get a lot of them in wot xbox myself and it always made me laugh.
What does Shima Leg Mod do?
25% boost to torpedo reload speed at the cost of -70% to torpedo tube traverse speed. It was -80% but WG just changed it a few months ago. Still pretty painful. It really puts an emphasis on Shima's 12km and 20km torpedoes, cuz that traverse speed nerf is just terrible for CQC lol. That's why it isn't practical for Flamu to be using it with F3's cuz they are only 8km which at Tier X isn't very good.

i play Shima with F3 and speed torps ...so 6,4 km + 85kn. very funny :P
Meanwhile Halland torpedoes are still 1 knot faster and have 8.6 kilometers more range, over twice the F3's with that build. Just a little bit of powercreep there :P

@@romanmelnik498 Nope, only annoyed on the fact that the Russian tech tree line was so OP when it came out all because of whining Russian players asking to buff the Russian ships. Well, they got what they wanted and still complained.
@@DonovanPotatoBowl I am russian player, and I have never asked WG to make something with the game. And I am thinking, if even I will ask, WG will ignore this... This is a stereotype that someone may take something from a company by "message on forums or emails". Everything is responcibility of WG game design team. You may notice that each new release Soviet tech tree is changing and there are nerfs and buffs. This means that someone did not make his work to make ships balanced enough. I wish you all the best, just tried to be "a voice" of another side ....

What is F3?
You can select three different kinds of Torpedos on the Shimakaze. One of which are called the "Type F3" Torpedos. Those are very fast (76 knots) Torpedos, but only have a small range (8 km until the run out).
