Pseudo 3D Textured Renderer in a GUI | Roblox

- In this video, I will be showing off my pseudo 3D renderer with orthographic projection. Now the cool thing about this thing is that it isn't 3D at all. It is just a top-down 2D grid of cells which is projected in a way to look 3D.
The drawing of skewed images and polygons were made with an older version of my latest module that I recently released:

This cool system was also built in a way that it can actually be used as a neat level editor tool for maps in raycaster engines.

@@CaptainIce69 i plan to make it a pretty big and detailed game. But its mostly taking awhile because i can hardly develop at all nowa days. There’s so much going on in life for me lately, but hopefully i start making progress soon.
I also plan to release the game for early access so hopefully it wont take long for that
@@Ethanthegrand I see what u mean lmao but wdym detailed like have someone model it in blender or take lesseons and make some detailed stuff in roblox? but yes that takes a while to make stuff even before 3am a little map but all the aniamtions and scripting can take a loooong time lol

Yo so I got bored so I played Before 3am and I noticed how annoying the sprint and light button where I suggest you should touch thisnup in after 3am it gets annoying stopping every time and holding down my sprint button I say keep the guitar and make it a hold sprint button instead of tap. Just letting u know
Are you referring to the mobile buttons? Cause that is planned to be changed somewhat in After 3 AM. Support for devices other than PC has been real finicky to work with and test.

Haha, could be, but nah. Just a custom 3D game engine thing i made in a GUI with heaps of frames representing pixels. There’s a lot more to it, such as the textures and shape calculations and all, but I dont wanna bore you with 2 hours worth of text lol
