A little less overlooked now. I still can't believe it's getting a remaster. I was floored. I've always loved this game. It's so fun in co-op especially.
This is one of my favorite games ever! It's one I played when I was little like 8 or 9 just because my cousin had it and I liked the art, and then I rediscovered as an adult with a fuller appreciation for why it was so special in my memory. The art alone is top notch, but the characters, the weird bits of gameplay (there's a level where you have to like translate rodent language), the design of chance and choice, and the personality in all the characters and monsters just... Everything I want and more from a game. If they do remake it, I will have no choice but to purchase it immediately, which I almost never do on release dates. Thanks for showcasing it, I got excited seeing the notification!
This game has one of the best presentations I've seen from a game. There's much to criticise it for, but the art style, visual design, audio design, music and sprite-work are fantastic. Right up there with Vagrant Story.
At the time it was released on PS1, playing this game was an absolute blast, but telling anyone about it was like trying to describe a collection of fairy tales no one had ever heard of. Finding fans of this game ended up being as much of a treasured gem as the Jumi were in this game. :)
Thankfully I have it on my collection :) The Mana series is up there for me with Zelda and Dragon Quest, im trying to collect and play all the games and this one looks just so full of charm
I used a guide for my most recent play through only to ensure that I see everything. It sucks cause you can totally miss events if you don’t do something on a specific day.
When I played it years ago, I expected it to be like Secret of mana, I was very disappointed. I belive this thought kept me from enjoying the game. I would really like to play it again and finally enjoy it for what it is.

I adore this game. I probably go back to this game every year or so and it is still as wonderful as the day I first played it on my PlayStation
Artistic masterpiece. Unique and wonderful. One of my favorites by far.

I’d somehow never heard of this game before, great video. Have a new sub
It would've been awesome if they put the cut content In for the remaster. An auction house in Geo sounds amazing.

I remember this game. It's so strange compared to the other Mana games.
Definitely! I love it haha
It took me a long time to realize the ending to this game can be found in the Main theme of the game.
The Square masterpiece
Agreed
My favorite game! So many pets and so much to do
So many pets! lol
I have this game but never finished playing it.
Does hearing the music make you want to finish?
@@NoisyPixelNews Yes, definitely though I'd have to play it from the start since I haven't played since it came out lol 😂.

I can see that being like a wtf moment. Let me know if you do return to it
I prefer LoM and Chrono Cross to the rest of the series.
Sometimes spinoffs of series have unique charm
