Thank you for this video! For someone BORN in 1999, "the war on lines" is something I had heard people mention countless times, without ever reslly going into WHAT it was. Just something people spouted off in passing as a sort of failed project. I'm glad to now know just the massive extent the park went to in a single year, and it is shocking just how many of the 27 rides are gone.
Some problems were due to staffing issues. Other issues were some of the rides were prototypes and had problems. Some of them would be relocated to other parks
This was a fantastic and extremely informative video! It’s also a great way to support greatadventurehistory with the unfortunate passing of one of its owners. It’s future is unknown at this point so a video like this is such a great way to keep the history alive!
I love Great Adventure is my home park I've been going there since 1985 when I first worked for them was when nitro was being built and I was one of the first operators for Nitro and quit 2009, and still go there to this day but I would have to say the video was great kudos to you and you should do a history video about that Park from beginning to end, Great work🎉
now they be like: we'll remove 50 rides for the next 50 years.
