I would absolutely love to ride it, but I am not sure on planning a trip that far to get there and have it closed for technical difficulties. While the rest of the park looks amazing, and there are many amazing sites to see within a reasonable commute such as Giza, its on my bucket list and maybe category. 3rd Quarter sounds reasonable for an opening date, I can see it dragging to 4th quarter as well. My biggest question is how reliable Falcons Flight will be, from the sheer number of lsms to how long it remains at high speed I question the wheels being able to tolerate the high heat, even though they are much bigger than the wheels on Formula Rosa in a similar climate, but at a much longer duration of speed. I think Intimin will figure it out but I would give it a couple of years till it has consistent reliable operations. If Intimin wasn't at the top for coaster manufactures this will surely put them there and a very difficult throne to retake.
You clearly don't know Saudi Arabia, it's freezing rn. The temperature in Riyadh reach 2 celsius degree. As a Saudi i assure you that it will be 100% reliable. Falcon flight is main attraction in Qiddiya theme park so of course it will run all year round to attract visitors. Saudi Arabia have unique location linking 3 continents Asia, Africa and Europe. 70% of world population can travel to saudi arabia within 8 hours.
Okay the Specs on this coaster are absolutely insane. I know and realize that these Theme Parks all are battling for having the biggest, the fastest, the wildest, craziest, and the most thrilling 🎢🎢Rollercoaster🎢🎢 ever made. That gives them their "catch" or their edge over the other parks. At some point however they could end up going too high? Pushing the limits of what is safe and going for what could be a world's record. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE Rollercoasters! The speed, the twists, the turns, the flips, loops, and stomach dropping G-Forces, but again when is enough enough? Also and I'm not trying to be funny about this or anything else like that, but building a Rollercoaster of this height, especially in the desert? The sand? The grit, getting into the ⚙⚙gears⚙⚙, the wheels, and the motor? This seems like a maintenance nightmare!!!!!
He finally is talking about speed, usually he hates taking about the absolute most important thing a coaster offers Speed. Absolutely loved Steel Dragon. I will be holding on. Wonder how long the wait will be?? Absolutely beat it beats the 4 hr wait for Ghost Rider on New Years Eve 2024.Absolutely Outstanding From Start To Finish // Absolutely Loved Every Second. PS R/T Airfare for Oct is a steal at $$800.00US
How expensive are the hotels? Also: They publicly behead prepubescent girls who are r@pe victims for the "capitol crime" of having sex out of wedlock. Coaster looks great but it'll likely have a lot of teething issues and down time.
It's such a shame. Just looked at flights from Orlando to Riyadh, and the cheapest is $1,100 before tax. Which isn't too bad in the scheme of things. However, it's over 18 hrs there and 25 hrs back. This was for mid-November. Average high is low 80's Fahrenheit. I'm not sure I could handle flying economy for that distance. I'm 6'2" and always fly first class if the flight is over 2.5 hrs. I need the extra room or I will go crazy. But to ride this coaster I would be willing to suffer if I was guaranteed to ride Falcons Flight several times. When I flew first class to Vegas in April it was just under 1k roundtrip. If you want business class get ready to spend 5k+ for round-trip. First class is 20k and up. Factor in 5 nights of accommodations, food, park tickets, additional entertainment, additional transportation (since you fly into Riyadh which is 45 min. to the park) and for an "economical" trip you are easily in for 4k to 5k per person. I'm sure you could go cheaper, but to travel at my normal standard, this is what it would take to make it happen in my world. That's if I took the cheapest flight there and back. Then, god forbid you fly to the other side of the world only to find out the coaster is down. It will be interesting to see how this park pans out over the next year. If they are able to keep this coaster up without a lot of downtime it will be a miracle in my humble opinion. Wish the coaster community could come together and arrange a group trip to the park. Would probably cut down on cost and be a lot safer traveling with a large group of people. If anyone knows of something like this, please reply.
Brandon, the elevation change of 639 feet is marketing hype...when you're on the cliff you're 639 feet higher than the lowest point of the circuit, but you're not 600 feet above the bottom of the cliff's edge. The drop is 519 feet and the airtime hill is 535 feet tall, those are both legit stats. FF isn't an EXA coaster, it's technically whatever classification they will call a 500-599 foot tall coaster (TERRA or whatever). By their logic you could build a hyper coaster that goes down 200 feet into a big ravine halfway through its' course, and claim it's a STRATA because the lift hill is 205 feet tall, it drops you 200 feet to level land and 30 seconds later you go down 200 feet into the ravine (405 foot elevation change), before climbing a second lift hill to get you back to the station. That wouldn't be a STRATA...it's height above the ground directly below that point or the drop...elevation change is a gimmick!
Idk if it’s gonna be that long tho. Just because there is more track doesn’t mean the duration is gonna be longer. This ride is gonna go so fast that it would probably be around the same time as some of the other rides we have seen maybe a bit longer
sucks to see and learn about a coaster i will never be able to ride but get to watch all the fortunate enthusiast ride it and im going to be jealous and sad
It will be down on the first day and many after. Riyadh gets hotter than hell in the summer, not to mention the sandstorms. I'll wait for a miracle to have something better come to the U.S. Not worth taking the chance to spend thousands just for a ride.
Six Flags Qiddiya City does look like an impressive park and I predict that Falcon's Flight will be a thrilling coaster for all to enjoy. I can't wait for this to open!! 😁😁😁🎡🎢🎠🏜️✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻✊🏻
It looks so amazing. Based on park progress and Six Flags presentations, the park may have a soft opening hopefully by the end of 2025, with full opening hopefully sometime in early to mid 2026. Never would have thought the Crown Prince would be interested in this type of attraction, which is pretty awesome. And hey, thanks, oil?
Don’t mind me It’s Commercial Motivation reminding everyone to watch a few commercials to support this great channel. When you watch this it’s very easy to see how much effort went into making this video! It’s easy to watch a few commercials to show your support. Let me see those hands up 🙌🏼 💚
I think i heard somewhere that the reason Kingda Ka was closed was because the presence of Falcons Flight made this coaster obsolete. Regardless of whether that was true or not, I completely disagree with that. Seeing it is about to break records that will (most likely) never be broken again, one can argue that all roller coasters will become obsolete once this opens regardless of their experience. As a result, one could argue in return that they might as well take down other record breakers like Formula Rossa and Steel Dragon 2000.
@raymondking2945 Exactly. All the more reason why Kingda Ka shouldn't go because it did attempt to break a record at one point succeeded. However, the main reason most people say it left was because of reliability issues. If that's true, then we can logically conclude that Top Thrill 2 will be next.
I believe that people better get there quickly when (or if) it opens bc with all those LSMs and those stats and desert winds (Sand) THERE WILL PROBLEMS and or delays! I wouldn't wanna be the guinea pig on this one! lol
Unpopular opinion: Falcon's Flight won't be the "most insane" coaster ever. The turns on this thing are HUGE, and the hills are profiled for floater airtime, not ejector. It's going to contrast well against Formula Rossa. That means this will ride a LOT more like Millie than Pantherian. Doesn't make it a bad ride by any means, but because of its ride time, it can't be as intense as Velocicoaster.
If the criteria for best is fastest, biggest drops and longest duration then Falcons Flight has that in spades. If you only care about inversions then obviously FF doesn’t do that. We will see about airtime though
@djnfbrhkelkondwvb6853 I care about the G-forces I'll experience on a coaster. Speed, height, and length aren't everything. Falcon's Flight's transitions are so drawn out to dramatically reduce the forces riders will face. Keep in mind that most guests at Quiddya will not have ridden an RMC conversion or a multi-launch Intamin accelerator. This is deliberately designed for an audience that is not accustomed to the world's most forceful coasters and will NOT feature ejector airtime. There might be a couple surprising pops of it, but the coaster is clearly NOT designed around it.
Yea, it’s cool and all, just not a realistic part of the world for most people to travel to. Good thing I have lots of other options to put on my actual bucket list 🤣
Why, looking at the original Falcon' Flight photos, do I have the impression that the drop and the highest point on the cliff, SUPPOSEDLY 195 meters high, seem almost half smaller height of the 545ft or 166m tall Cammelback Hill?
The distance to the moon is 1.26 billion ft. vs. 13,943 ft. in track length for falcons flight. Just about as useful as the other comparisons you made! It’s also as long as 13,943 rulers, (assuming they’re 12in.) which would be enough for 13,943 school children! 😆 I love the videos sincerely lol
This coaster is a joke, the money and government behind it, are a joke, and i highly doubt it will run frequently like a CP or Kings Island roller coaster! Also, build the coaster without utilizing the environment! Build the lift hill and drop that high, like a typical roller coaster.
If Qiddiya eventually gets an RMC ibox coaster (like an iron gwazee or steel vengeance, zadra etc) it's over. It will be the best park on the planet with half the rollercoasters.... and nobody would ever stand a chance!
A rollback off that cliff climb would be crazy.
I would absolutely love to ride it, but I am not sure on planning a trip that far to get there and have it closed for technical difficulties. The immense size of this coaster is unreal
I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction of humans on this insane coaster 🎢
Great video Brandon. I'd love to ride this but seriously doubt I ever get a chance. I can't wait for the first pov to appear

I really cannot wait for that park to open.
A park designed for enthusiasts, I couldn’t ask for anything more
Who dey!

If you go to Saudi you don't go cheap. You need to have money if you want to enjoy yourself.

Aghhh makes sense thanks Robert
Agreed.
Flying turtles?!?!?!?
Frr I was thinking that too!!
I love the stats but it also makes me fee like can a coaster be too long? Maybe not but we will see how it goes

I already know that when this park opens, it’s gonna be PACKED… with people who live in Saudi Arabia.
😂🎉
Hands up all the way
100% with my hands up!
just don't get why it is built in the desert, gunna be a nightmare to upkeep.
Didn’t we already know all of this information 😭
sucks to see and learn about a coaster i will never be able to ride but get to watch all the fortunate enthusiast ride it and im going to be jealous and sad
just another short lived coaster tbh
Im a Steelers fan… Tell Zac Taylor to not improve your defense please.
I know right lol
Wheel killing heat and blowing sand will be a maintenance nightmare. Falcons Flight will be the king of downtime. Saudi Arabian eye candy
It will be down on the first day and many after. Riyadh gets hotter than hell in the summer, not to mention the sandstorms. I'll wait for a miracle to have something better come to the U.S. Not worth taking the chance to spend thousands just for a ride.
What are the NON full circuit height and speed records if you don’t mind me asking I’m curious, I know moonsault beat magnum XL and scream machine
WHO DEY!

I'd have a hard enough time in the UAE, going to Saudi Arabia is just not an option for me.
It looks so amazing. Based on park progress and Six Flags presentations, the park may have a soft opening hopefully by the end of 2025, with full opening hopefully sometime in early to mid 2026.

What do you mean? I'm riding hands up forever! 🤣😈
I'd be skeered shiotless...I would be holding on!
Falcon's Flight: The World's Tallest, Fastest, Longest, Most Extreme Roller Coaster Ever Built
1:35 4? I only know 2 (.5) Ka, Dragster, Superman

I would love to see flying turtles in Saudi Arabia LOL.
99.9 percent of people will never get to ride this.
Are you gonna travel all the way there to ride it?
Yes one day!
Yea, it’s cool and all, just not a realistic part of the world for most people to travel to. Good thing I have lots of other options to put on my actual bucket list 🤣
Good luck to the bengals in the playoffs😂
Still questioning if this can successfully run. Time will tell
SssOOOOooo what youre saying is this coaster is big.
As in BIG.
Why, looking at the original Falcon' Flight photos, do I have the impression that the drop and the highest point on the cliff, SUPPOSEDLY 195 meters high, seem almost half smaller height of the 545ft or 166m tall Cammelback Hill?

lol
What is the actual, practical point of giving so many of these measurements in inches?
I wont be riding falcons flight at all. It would be different if it were located in Ohio or Florida but the desert of Arabia? Not happening.....
This feels very anti American
too bad it's in saudi arabia. and that's bad because of reasons.
This coaster is a joke, the money and government behind it, are a joke, and i highly doubt it will run frequently like a CP or Kings Island roller coaster!
Also, build the coaster without utilizing the environment! Build the lift hill and drop that high, like a typical roller coaster.
You’re clearly jealous, and arguably racist
Then Orion is a hyper coaster. Happy now?

Your video is great and all but, EXPLAIN FLYING TURTLES 🐢🪽
