    Thanks this looks awesome. Would be great to see a tutorial to set this up on an iPad with AUM.

    Would be cool to one day see an iOS version of Dispatch and Receiver… 🤩

    Mind blown. Just started using it with Ableton Live and this answered some questions I had about routing. Thanks for ruining my weekend, John! 😂

    Great video! With the recent updates it’d started feelimg a bit complex. Great to get back to basics, see how simple it is to just play.

    Big thanks for this vid I have been with this from I think first version and never been able to get it to gel for me in Ableton
    So will try some of suggestions/ work flow.
    And keep up the good work we need the tools to keep being
    Creative.

    Hey loving all the Cong Burn apps. Made me use eurorack alot less. One thing, do I need to use a dummy instrument rack?ive been putting the vst synths, operator for example, straight onto the drum rack pads and routing their individual audio via audio tracks. Are the dummy instrument racks better for modulations from Strokes?

    Great stuff. Would also be good to see you using Strokes as a midi fx sequencer in Logic, given the latest update 👍

    THANK YOU for making this video. So great to see the work flow. One question: when you want some velocity variation, do you just put the velocity midi effect on the track in question and modulate it by mapping Matrix channels to it?

    Hey, is it difficult to midi map 3rd part plugins? I'm having a hard time getting some plugins work with Strokes? I'm a bit green with this. Thanks!

      check out configure mode -> www.ableton.com/en/manual/working-with-instruments-and-effects/#plug-in-configure-mode
      it lets you pick out parameters from plugins, then you can assign the horizontal sliders -> help.ableton.com/hc/article_attachments/360000013164/Screen_Shot_2018-01-23_at_14.15.47.png

    Any chance we could get a independent lfo perhaps per track that can be assignable?

    • @cong-burn
      @cong-burn  ปีที่แล้ว

      Would be nice the only issue is where to fit it on the UI ha. You can get LFO type movement from Weights (the env followers on the right of the sequencer page) - the benefit being the movement is influcenced by your rhythms

    Would the same principles apply using the iPad version ??

    • @cong-burn
      @cong-burn  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yep! on iOS, each channel of strokes is sent over a separate MIDI channel so you can sequence the pitch internally without needing the max for live device. also all of the modulation is sent via MIDI CC so you can hook it up to any other apps if you have a host like AUM
