    I've been looking for this this will save me sooooo much time. I'm orchestrating a string section, generally I want the expression to be the same, now I can program this with one envelope instead of a dozen. Thank you for sharing this.

    Also very useful when the parameter modulation option is smoother than controlling the knob directly, like those plugins that separate pitch controls by fine, semitone and octave.

    Hi, off topic, How can i do mpe in reaper? individual note pitch bend and volume like Ableton live 11 and Bitwig studio. Thanks

    Oh nice! It's so easy to setup, I remember trying to figure out how to get the enveloppe for parameters in Amplitube 4 a few months back and couldn't make it work, I'll start implementing that solution. Thanks!

    Is there a tutorial for recording midi keyboard events (vol, pitch wheel) for reacontrollermidi so that the movement of the vol fader/pitch bend can be recorded in reaper automation? I cant find a way to record these movements

    Do you know an alternative plugin to this to use in Ableton?

    Thanks! Hey, at 3:46 when you move the automation point, the fade shape isn't linear, it's curved. How do you do that? I tried 'Default envelope point shape' but that wasn't it.

      my default point shape is slow start/end.

    is it possible to output this via physical MIDI output? if yes, then Reaper can become replacement for entire QLab show automation O.o

    • @TheREAPERBlog
      @TheREAPERBlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      yeah you can output MIDI to hardware. I've seen people doing camera and lighting switches from reaper with MIDI.

    Nice! I've never seen the "Show MIDI track control panel" menu entry, awesome! A question, does Reaper have an Envelope generator triggered by midi to assign to parameters? Thanks!

    • @TheREAPERBlog
      @TheREAPERBlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Possibly the JS: ReaRack2 - Envelope Multi-Tool
      I haven't played with it yet

    I use the alias functionality instead. It does the same thing, I think.

    • @TheREAPERBlog
      @TheREAPERBlog  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      alias = name of parameter

    • @ivancevich
      @ivancevich 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheREAPERBlog you can alias a MIDI CC parameter. Then just draw an automation curve and finally midi learn within the plug-in itself. I do that instead of using ReaControlMIDI
