Great stuff. Bonus tip, if you want to go from a synced arp into one with a free rate seamlessly, just highlight a 16th note (or whatever) on the grid in arrangement view, and Ableton will show exactly how many milliseconds that is in the bottom left of your screen. Put that into the min/max of your mapped free rate.
Holy balls, the chording arpegiator tip, GOLDEN, thank you Yalcin, as always, you keep delivering the highest quality content out there, please don't change and please don't stop, you really do influence and help so many people every day to get closer to their dream! Love you bro
im producing professionally for 8 years now and I already use all that stuff, its about to get creative with your tools to learn new personal sercet techniques u never gonna share...keep up the good work man! much love
That last one... with the chord trigger... thank you so much for showing this! I tried to automate this stuff manually and switching chords was such a fiddle without it.
The best music producer teacher on YT by far. Top-quality explanations and information delivery. Straight to the point, Really great tips in this video mate :)
That last tip the chord arp was something I always wondered how the pros do it!! Thank you so much for helping us little guys out! I hope you’re channel continues to grow!
As a logic user I still love your tutorials because your concepts and step-by-step processed reveals ways for me to experiment in my DAW. I can't thank you enough.
I’m creating music for a year with ableton, I learn so much with you. Your tutos are excellent and well explained . A big big thank you and big big respect to you .
Alice, we think you fricking rock! I think so because I really like these tips and tricks as a hobbyist ableton enjoyer, and my gf thinks so because she is a (new) big fan of your music. (and is currently learning DJ-ing) We only recently discovered your channel (and music) and in a short period of time we have seen many of the videos you created over the years. Its been an amazing transition, so to speak! Keep it up, and keep smiling like you do whenever you find that beat or melody that gives you goosebumps :) Sincerely, two fans!
1 simple trick I dont see anyone doing is automating the arp style, over a basic chord progression instead of it been a simple arp , it completely changes the feel and makes it feel absolutely human
Arpeggiators are AWESOME. I use them with SIMPLER ALL THE TIME to create Beat Chops, and AUTOMATING the Various Parameters on the Arpeggiator makes things even MORE Interesting 😎👍
Efe your channel is totally an online pro hand book of every musician should have. Thank you for your selections of the content , as always, its very productive !
@@Alice-Efe Im already automating my 3rd and 4th arpeggio! I had no idea you could stack them, its too much fun. You should do a video on other stackable or "unconventional" things you can do with ableton!
Pure Gold bro i am really glad i found this. Thanks for sharing and spreading your knowledge throughout the world. Can´t wait top get my hands on the arp ! Liked and subscribed.
Thank you for this video! There's so many amazing tips in here. Just the humanizing the hit hats is such a cool technique. I cannot wait to play with some of the stuff in here and create!
Yalcin you inspired me for create business for producers , and help in my dream of producer / DJ in Brazil , you are so amazing man , this 4 remember vintage culture drop
Hah, so cool of you to slip that Yngwie moment in the intro. No doubt a music genius, fitting this amazing content. Hope the universe will give back 10x of all that you're gifting to us, Yalcin!
One quote always sticks out when I think of Yngwie. “Less isn’t more. More is more.” Makes sense coming from him, considering he’s got like 5 red Ferraris.
@@lowfrequency1180 Hahaha, that's true, he is quite the character. Back in his days, everything just had to be faster and bigger sounding. Today, I think all of us internally are struggling with the modern amount of information and capabilities, and as producers we thrive on some amount of minimalism even when creating full sounding tracks.
Very cool. Reason has a "Dual Arppegiator" player that introduced me to the concept of two arpeggiators. GAME CHANGER!!! You're an Ableton pro but would be cool to see you try reason out for a vid or two.
great editing, and keeping things concise! The little arrows you put in really help for someone like me, unfamiliar with the software you're using. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration!
Hey Man... I've subscribed to you for a few months now... Thanks A Lot! You've really made my Production Way Better ♥️ I'm was an amateur... Rather I still am 😅 But Thanks to you I'm getting really good at this
Wish so hard you also used FL sometimes, I need someone with tips like this in FL! That last one was amazing, but it's like translating to another language to do the same in a different DAW!
Thank you so much for your tips and techings, the way you do it is exquisite... Inspired me to make muisc rigth away! Im subscribed from the first video. ;)
combine arp with velocities random function (in ablerton) and add and make synth react to velocity in a certain manner (most obvious choice is the filter here, on envelopes (release/decay) also interesting) to create organic arp sequences which stay interesting for a longer time. enjoy!!!

oh you have no idea that just helped me! was literally trying to achieve this in a song the other day
Yooo! Thanks for telling me thay3
Excellent! Thanks for sharing. Always found this to be a frustrating limitation
wow, great tip. I have always used online calculators but that is so clunky.
That is exactly the problem I couldn't find a solution for, thanks man❤

The video production with this channel is exceptional. Holds my attention even when I'm not in a learning mood.

Aww thanks a ton! Really appreciate it. Cheers
Best production channel over YT, period.
You're a G od... I've learned more from watching your videos than anywhere else, and any other method (other than personal practice)... Legend!
The arp for the hats is so simple, so smart. never thought to do that. thank you. brilliant.

I’ve watched hundreds of hours of music tutorials on you tube and learn more in 5 minutes watching this!
Every single time I come to your channel I learn something new 🎉
Wow! That last one was amazing 👏
Great tips man! Clear, concise, no time wasted! Number 2 and 3 were great additions to my ”toolkit”, thank you so much!
Cheers Alex, happy to help!

Buddy is an experimental and creative genius machine. I also love how you say "synch"
Damn, the result of the last tip was freaking amazing!
this was borderline genius and definitely inspiring!
💚🎶
All 4 methods made sense to me the way you explained them and they seem like really good additions to a producers toolkit. Thank you!
They are in core a bit unortodox but simple tricks. Hope they help you with your workflow as well. 😊✌

The loops you create for examples are sick!! I'd listen to them as full tracks
So good, the next generation of producers will give you so much credit. Thank you!!
And that is all I can ask for. A lot of new awesome producers making community even better
