love how homeschooled kids get to learn all the self-sufficiency skills instead of being stuck in schools for 6+ hours a day 5 days a week 180+ days a year. It is such a blessing and I truly believe these kids can save our country. You must know how much that man loves you all that work he just did ;-) I so love watching your videos you family is just so so cute.
And they aren't subjected to TQ+ ideology.
I strongly believe kids need a social interaction and play and learn from their peers in their schools and most importantly structured education.
I really don't think they can succeed in life if they don't go to school. Those sort of practical skills in this video can be easily done in a long summer holiday in a couple of weeks time. What kids do need is a solid education. I don't know these parents education or background but parents need to let professionals do the teaching and they can do lots of practice in the home with their children. I am also worried about what homeschooled kids do in winter time they won't be able to do gardening those kind of buildings or anything....
Professionals these days try to groom our kids into their personal beliefs and sexualize them at a very young age. Its hard to raise good kids that interact with kids who’s parents don’t give a crap about them. Homeschool kids are not socially awkward if they socialize with kids on the regular and actually make better kids in all areas because they get individual attention every step of the way
@@eljefe1813 well I think America is a different world then I think sexual offences are I guess a big issue there but in the UK home schooling is very rare and it is seen as a lazy parenting kind of things also some even thinks parents might cover some child abuse situations in their homes. It is of course parents' responsibility to making sure your kids needs are met and they are happy at school by asking the right questions to the child. I personally think so many TH-camrs who are doing home schooling and documenting it on TH-cam is not a good example to young parents especially who watch them. I still feel like it is parents responsibility that making sure those sexual abuse are not happening in the first place etc. Thanks god where we live is safe and my kids get to socialize happily with after school clubs so many beautiful school trips also at the weekends they have their bales and a Spanish soccer and a family time mainly. I think every child deserves that opportunity also think about how much a teacher and a class mate can influence your children's opinions mums.and father's are the most important models in children's lives that they look up to. I don't think kids in this era would let brain washings they are too clever for that 🙏
Kids need human interaction to grow and thrive. Public schools have not always existed and are a fairly recent. In american public schools, they are handed a tablet or chrome book and expected to watch videos almost all day with one 30min recess that is also combined with lunch. Class sizes are also large. 1 teacher to around 35+ children. There is a reason our statistics show a drastic decline in educational performance. As a result, many parents opt for private school if they can afford it or homeschool. Because of the millions of children being homeschooled, resources have popped up everywhere. In just my local community on tuesdays my kids go to a class with peers half of the day with like minded families. And another option in my local town on fridays at the nature center is an all day life skills class- quilting, composting. gardening, nature, music, art, woodworking, blacksmithing, etc. Local libraries offer homeschool science experiments weekly, local karate studios offering inexpensive homeschool classes, lots of co ops offering field trips, child led book clubs, science clubs, lego clubs, chess clubs, and park playdates. Thousands of different curriculum choices to choose from specifically for homeschoolers, but peer reviewed consistentnly show that 78% of homeschooled children significantly outperform public schools. In peer reviewed studies on the social development, 87% homeschooled children performed significantly better than public school kids. They get WAY more human interaction than they would sitting in a classroom quietly in front of a tablet like the public schools offer. In fact many of the other parents in my local co ops were public school teachers but didnt like the way american schools are trending.

My grandfather had a shallow pan with oily sand stored in it. When his tools were clean and dry, he would push them around in the oily sand, wipe them off, and hang them up. He only had a handful of tools during the Depression. Hubby has been saving drain oil so that I can replicate my Gramps. You have a beautiful shed and a patient mate. 😊

At 5:44, that's a B-29 Superfortress. The same type of World War II bomber that dropped the Atomic bombs. There are only two flyable in the world, one in Kansas and one in Texas. Pretty rare honor to have that fly over.

Where I live, not far from East Midlands Airport, we used to have the Antonov 225 (that was destroyed), fly to the airport every few years. I remember the first time I heard it, it was 2014 and dark. It sounded like it was only a few hundred feet above the bungalow it was that loud. I miss it now. We also have vintage aircraft fly by every year as there's an annual show somewhere close.
I love the fact that your kids are helping build out this project. so many kids today don’t know how to do anything outdoors. The parents don’t even make them. These are life skills that both your boys and your daughter are learning and it’s awesome that you and your husband decided to do in that fashion.
Baby boy is wonderful. But each of your children is. I could live in the shed. Its beautiful.

Beautiful shed. You are going to be so happy. The chicken vane on top is the best. I know Cam said no more, but later, you might add gutters to drain into a square water tank at the back. It's helpful when you just need a water can full to water your sweet window boxes, add water to soil or wash hands. Baby Riggs is beautiful. Cam, you are a humble servant to Becky, bless you.

In our workshop we reused the old kitchen units and worktops until we installed rack shelving units. I like to screw jar lids on the underside of a unit or shelf and store different size screws and bits and bobs in the jars. Makes it much easier to find the little things you need. If you have a drip system you can also store the small drip connector parts.

A dry erase board and a few markers will do you wonders too. For inventory lists and to do lists, amd what needs picked, etc.

Agreed!! Skills that can hardly be taught elsewhere. Kids working with their parents used to be commonplace, until commuting to an office became the norm. Guess we should have been born in the 1800’s 😁

another thing that could work for your floor is garage floor paint. I'm going to be coating the floor in the grow room with it. There are some that you can pick the color and the options are many! I can't find the fold-out at the moment to give more precise information... but look into it if you are in need of durable flooring in the future and really don't want a shiny finish.

Great, looking shed. Fantastic addition to the property.. love the finish, you gave it. I can see the advantages of their shed kit. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was some of the material they used in the shed kit not the biggest fan of MDF and chipboard. Looking how good this is and where it sits for its practicality it’s pretty awesome. You only need to build another one now and you can use it as a seed and potting shed. Where you can start your plant starters for your garden. Jobs half done, get that man and kids out there to build the next one lol. Your family did a great job.
