I watch u from germany trying to find a solution how to do food storage cause the relief society here dont gather together often.
Sounds wonderful but I am allergic to wool...so wonder how that would work? I know I would out a sheet on it...but??
First time stumbling on the channel and I am amazed and impressed and speechless. There’s farming, preserving, cooking AND raising 4 (5 - congratulations) kids! Then you homeschool the kids while running a successful YT channel. Just raising kids alone is a lot but you have all these other fulfilling things going on. My goodness, talk about busy and talented! You guys are amazing! It’s beautiful to see.

😮 Wow what a lovely home! Love how you made it your own! Not so cookie cutter and just made it real…. Beautiful home and family! My husband and I recently started canning 😅 still learning…. It’s fun and a lot of work… he’s been an avid hunter all his life, so we’ve always had freezer meat of all kinds but we found out how to can meat and it’s nice to have ready made meats at your fingertips for quick meals and stock for the year! So delicious! Have a blessed day!
I'm an old country gal that's spent a lifetime fighting ADHD, depression, etc. Your intentionality in having enough storage, open spaces, minimal decor, no shoes indoors, etc is so very very wise. The overwhelm of modern lifestyles with too much stuff in too little space (and the unending battle against country dirt coming in the door) truly effects our thinking and quality of life. Beautiful home!
One thing I love about this family and this home is that nothing is pretentious. You are all humble and kind and grateful. You are clearly excellent stewards over what you have. I'm always inspired after watching your videos!
Thank you. My husband and I have 4 kids under 5, a new small business enterprise, and living in a fixer upper home. We have so many balls in the air, and I get so stressed out just with the daily to-dos- never seem to stay on top of anything. At least to me, Your personalities are peaceful, quiet, positive, zen; your home is minimalist, functional, peaceful, healthful. In my current world of (beautiful) chaos, your videos give me some peace. I love what you’re doing and love the logic.

We're about to build a house this year and I feel SO VALIDATED by you including huge spaces for household tasks- the mud room and laundry are such stuff as housewife/homestead dreams are made of! I've included them in our house plans and seeing yours makes me feel so confident I won't regret it. Your house is definitely #goals for me! Congrats on baby #5! We just welcomed #4 and it's amazing to see the love grow among all the kids :)
Oh AND the homeschooling room- YES! We homeschool too and having a dedicated space must make all the difference. Including that in my checklist to be sure!
We had a bonus room growing up and Daddy bought us a pool table. All the kids loved hanging out at our house!

Yes, we haven’t figured it out yet! I think baby will definitely be in our room for a little longer than we’ve usually done because the kids rooms are on the opposite side of the house. Might turn part of our closet into a sleeping area after we move baby out of our room.

I was able to purchase 2 7 cubic foot freezers for less than 1/2 the cost of one that was less than 14 cubic feet it made a lot of sense both financially and the ability to organize the contents of the freezers. I have 3 of the same freezers and they are so work so well. You home is beautiful. I can imagine how much easier it is to clean and take care because it is all one level. I have had multi level homes and they seem to be impossible to keep each floor clean at the same time and carting laundry up and down stairs along with the vacuum and everything else is a pain.

I started watching your channel just as you purchased your land so it was so lovely to see inside your beautiful home. You have done a great job. It is so purpose built, homely and whilst spacious its only what you need. We built our own home on 70 acres here in Australia several years ago and have included many of the same features-as yours. I just don't have that wonderful food producing garden!! Just a small scale one which is why I enjoy watching yours so much!

Binge watching .. love love .. simple life The growing of vegetables and everything else is amazing . The most impressed was the linen closet . Very few things and you have 4 kids . It’s only me and my 23 year old daughter and I need 2 lines closets ..Your closet being small and a small amount of clothes is really what is impressive . The home schooling 4 kids .. I couldn’t do my one .. I have the same cafe appliances in white with gold . Love the black . I can keep going with everything I love of yours . It’s refreshing and calming to watch your videos . Beautiful home! I took some notes because we are in the dreaming/planning process for land and a house to build. Some of my requirements are a big pantry, kitchen island, and a lot of windows. I completely agree with the master closet- some of the house plans I see have the master closet big enough to be a bedroom! I take a bath almost every day. That is a lovely tub. Ours is almost a garden tub but short somehow. The great thing is we just got a new water heater and the water is so hot... it makes me so happy!!! Your home is beautiful.
