This was an amazing use of space. It really does have all the comforts of home. They thought of everything. People who can do a DIY build like this always impress us. Thanks for sharing this rig tour with us!
The truck had custom coils & springs made after it was weighed. It rides beautifully with the tune and 5.29 gearing it can go over passes at speed limit easily.
@@OpenRoad4Two Gotcha, that's what I figured. Mine is consistently 12mpg, city or highway. It's a 2nd gen with the Habitat as well with 34 mud tires and 4.10 gearing. Looking to boost it a little bit, would love to get it to 14-15, probably will be in the tires is my guess. Thanks for the reply!
Awesome rig! We had the pleasure to see this amazing well built rig. Definitely a survival vehicle!

We 💯 agree!
Rad build! And you even went to Garage 79!!!
Nice setup. I have been thinking about using the fender space on my truck. Would love to see how things were mounted up in there.
Pumps and filters mounted to fiberglass bed.
Definitely taking some inspiration in the use of space for my rig! The definition of dialed! Very curious on the weight? And if it's tuned aswell?
Yes, he had it tuned. With the Tacoma fully loaded with passengers and all its 7,400lbs.

Do we know how much this rig weighs fully loaded?
Fully loaded with everything and it’s two passengers, 7,400. Had custom springs and coils made after it was weighed and it rides amazing.
Dream vehicle right there, what kind of gas mileage do they get with it that loaded down?
It is an awesome rig!!! We would say probably similar to ours between 12-15.
