Hearing TJ come to terms in his head that he could very well be a quadriplegic hit hard.

Another great episode from Shots Fired Podcast. Matches in drama & jaw dropping acceptance of the power of will to survive like your episode about the deputy severely wounded when his girlfriend was with him on the ‘ride along’. TJ Webb is a classic ‘Phoenix rising from the ashes’. So happy that you included his wife’s perspective.

Amazing story of survival, and what a terrible way for your wife to find out.

Thank you for sharing your story, TJ. You are truly an inspiration. I am glad that you survived that terrible event and that you made the conscious decision to emerge from it better than you were before. May God bless you and Mrs. Webb. Podcast dudes: I nominate you for Greatest Podcasters of the Year. You introduced your guest, then let him tell his story without interruption. Well done, gentlemen. Keep up the great work.

I found inspiration in his message and how he refused to be a victim even in the heat of the moment. Took a tragedy and made it a life lesson for all of us to learn from. I appreciate his vulnerability and willingness to share his story. Very touching as he mentions the family aspects to it but am so very glad he survived. God bless you TJ and thank you wholeheartedly for sharing. Much respect and appreciation for you and all LEO’s. 🫡 ✊

What a great episode. We don't want to think about these moments or eventualities, but it really does make a difference. Also such a great couple, with a truly humble and realistic man and his beautiful, caring, intelligent wife. Really gives me a boost listening to these, I just hope that if my vest needs to be tested I will have the strength of these two. Great job as always, SFP.

What’s crazy is i STILL have a burning desire that I absolutely can’t shake no matter how many horrific videos I see or stories I hear. I just simply can’t get away from this feeling I have to become i police officer. I don’t think I will ever be happy if I don’t

That’s rough having to do all that in front of his daughter. She will be traumatized forever after that.

I don’t know about y’all but this story right here struck me straight to my core. Knowing that you might not make it and making peace with that is hard. As a future recruit, it means even more to wear that badge knowing others wore it with pride.

I am impressed with your episodes, I am still trying to figure out how all the right and relevant things you discuss does not reflect in the services seen in the black community. I want to have faith in the police department but The compassion , empathy, respect and responsibility you represent has never been my experience. All I know is the harassment of my sons and husband, I am grateful that by God’s grace my sons listened to our instructions when pulled over, and are in their forties today and have survived the indignities thrown at them although they were good kids doing everything right. Now my grand kids are my greatest concern, having their parents having to teach them the very lesson We had to teach them growing up. Nothing has changed.
