Fantastic review and another great piece of artwork, I didn't know you had an identical twin Rob so is he your apprentice as he looks like he's got a lot to learn plus I think he has some anger management issues 🤷😂
Got the heater installed and running, had the booth up to 36C yesterday with a panel temp of 42C as the hot air is blowing on the panel bit to hot for painting but was great as a test, used it today for some clear work and it was so much better than my gas one plus it was nice to have it on while painting, so far it seems a great little heater 👍

Yeah I can imagine that was a lot of work but it was spot on mate, the timing of the edits and you talking to your double was hilarious 😂 well done mate 👌👍
Fricken awesome vid Rob! I really like the FK50, had a lot of fun playing with it. With the portrait, did you paper cut a mask and paint a white background for her before the artwork? I really like the end result Mate, really great work.
Thanks Simon I started with a white board projected her up to size penciled round her then put a peice of paper on the board with the projector
Still running went round her head on the paper in pencil cut that bit out and used it as a mask glad you like the video tomorrow's one is better

Good review. Did you find issues with that regulator? Mine seemed to not allow me to dial it in to get good results so I swapped it. Also, I couldn't really get mine to "swing" like it should even with screw loose and I found I really have to shove my airbrush hard into the plastic adapter to get it to fit. Lastly, I thought the larger jar felt cheap since it's plastic not glass and I thought the flight case was cheaply built. Mine came with the hinges all wonkey and case dented. My experience was this could be an excellent product, but they chinsed out on some details. Excellent paint work though!!!
Yes I understand regulator I use my own one now which works better the case it came in was OK worked but I know what you mean 👍thank you for the feedback on the video much appreciated 👍
Did you notice with the 1000.You have to keep the jar pretty full to keep a good quantity of flake coming out? Did 2-3 psi work best?
Hi Dyna as I did a small pannel with the 1000 yes 2/3psi worked OK so didn't use much flake I have some bigger projects coming up
So will do another video o the 1000

Hi William the binder is very thick you can thin it down with a drop of water 💧

Can the gun be used without the pick-up tube?
What needle size did you use to spray the surface binder? Thanks
Hi the surface binder is very thick I had to thin it down with water for the 1.3mm but when I use it again I would go with my devilbiss set up and use

Would the FK500 be good for a beginner?
@@The_Bearded_B hi yes all you have to keep in mind when it comes to flaking is keep the air pressure low around 5psi when you flake and make sure you put a nice wet bed down first of the binder so the flake has something to stick to
