    Looks very good Chef like a spring roll but this recipe is very crispy. Almost like fried chicken lol. Those wrappers are not available in my area but have seen them in Asian supermarkets. Me and the girlfriend plan to go there sometime this summer. My Chinese dish was a success as always. Pork colored peppers with pineapple and celery in hoisin sauce. Always served with fried rice. The family loved it and we have enough food for 2-3 days. I decide my dishes of vegetables based on food flyer sales as the cost of it has gone up. With that, I can continue to make specialty Chinese home cooked meals. Your help with ideas made it possible. Thanks Chef and see you in your next video.

      @@HAPPYWOK The closest Asian grocery is in Barrie, Ontario which is 3 hours away. It's a huge Chinese atmosphere. I love going there. Won't go to Toronto anytime soon cuz the pandemic is brutal over there.

      I see. I just happen to google map " Barrie, Ontario" It is north of Toronto. So, you live way north of Barrie?

    • @metalandy
      @metalandy 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I do. Three hours north of it. Centra is the name of the Asian supermarket. Great selections for all my wok needs.

    What I found most interesting was the seasoning profile for the dipping sauce is the same as the filing. Thanks for that technique.

    I’m eaten tofu skins in different dishes but never deep fried. Just wondering if you can buy in Asian markets in the states or do I need to go back with my dad to China just to eat LOL. Looks delicious. Btw just wondering if you’re in China or the states. I want to take my dad back but wasn’t sure if international travel was open yet. Thank you

      I have immigrated now in USA. Tofu skin aka bean curd skin fresh ( not dried type ) are available here in the USA and Canada. Check local asian groceries. That is nice of you to help your Dad travel and visit China. I believed it is not time yet to travel international, due to pandemic still not under control. Maybe next year, hopefully. Thanks for watching.
