    Chicken Francaise is also known as "Francese" egg dipped chicken breast in tangy buttery sauce. I believe this dish was created in America by Italian immigrants. As with numerous Italian chicken dishes, they were originally intended for veal which was more expensive. Why an American Italian dish is called "French" ? Beats me, but one thing for sure, the flavours are incredible. This dish has been shared by over 100 million people on Facebook! Wow, hence why it's voted as the best chicken francese recipe ever on Facebook.

    This is one of the food channels here that i love because of the less talking and more on the cooking with exact ingredients and clear demonstration on how to... plus you are a good looking and tidy chef!

    Made this tonight, we loved it. One thing I did when I added chicken back to sauce was add a bit of corn starch and more shredded Parmesan. It created a thicker sauce, almost like a gravy. Was very good! 😊

    Very delicious.
    I added about 1/4 block of Philly Cream cheese to the reduction to make a more creamy sauce.
    Turned out great.

    Just made this. Didn’t have fresh parsley, so I used dried. Didn’t have wine or chicken stock but a bouillon cube did the trick. Didn’t have lemon so I used lime. I double dredged the chicken. Also cut the butter amount in half. It came out SO GOOD.

    I love this great, classic recipe of Chicken Francaise, one of the best of all the chicken pallard dishes one can do...Chicken Kiev, Chicken Piccatta, Chicken Schnitzel, Chicken Marsala, etc. I make one of these dishes at least 3X a month, for many decades, because they taste like an elegant, uptown meal for very little expense.
    This Francaise recipe delivers the most tender chicken of all of them!!! Almost like the "velvetizing" done in many Chinese dishes. I also loved the use of curly parsley, very nostalgic, from the east coast chefs, back in the day, which I still love. Make this. You'll love it.

    This is so close to the way I cook mine.I have been cooking it for 40 years.(I am a retired chef).I never put fresh garlic in mine,just a little granulated garlic.Its still a great receipe

    Yummy.... I make it once a month or so. I add capers to the sauce too. The egg sometimes comes off a bit in the frying process unlike this one, but it's all good!

    This looks wonderful.I love chicken Marsala, and this looks equally, as wonderful. It's whats for dinner Monday evening. Perhaps I'll serve some garlic mashed potatoes, and add some of the pan drippings over the potatoes. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

    I made this for dinner tonight, and it was truly great! The only thing different that I did was after cooking on both sides I put it in the oven for 8 minutes, and added a last sprinkle of parmesan cheese at the last minute. Ooooohhh! Yummy!

    This look very good and tasty there so many way to make Chicken Francaise I do my the same way only different I put my butter in flower to make the wine sauce thinker and litter creamer but over very good.

    One of my favorite dishes ever. I can't get over the lemon, butter, wine sauce. That sauce can be the base for several other chicken dishes that are very similar. Piccata or Florentine are pretty similar too, and I love the capers in Piccata. You could do a kind of pork Milanese with a play on that sauce. I just love pounded out fried meat with butter and lemon.

    I made it tonight and it was delicious. The only suggestion I have is to grate the parmesan cheese over the chicken when you put the chicken Francaise back in the pan with sauce - that way you don't waste any precious parmesan cheese.

    This was good and will try it again! I didn't have freash parsley and I think that would make a big difference! All I had is dryed parsley. I would add more finely grated parmesan cheese in the egg wash. This was really moist!

    Looks so delicious... but unfortunately I am allergic to eggs. Could I use buttermilk to dredge the chicken? Hard to understand why I am allergic to eggs...but once it hatches i.e. Chicken...I can eat it without a problem.
