- CHICKEN FRANCESE
6 pieces Chicken Breast, sliced thin
1 Lemon, cut ½ lemon into slices, reserve remaining ½ for juice
2 extra large Eggs
2 Tbsp Water
1-2 Tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
1 cup All Purpose Flour, sifted
Olive Oil
3 cloves Garlic, minced
½ cup White Wine
14 oz Chicken Broth
2 Tbsp Butter mixed with 2 Tbsp Flour
Salt & Pepper to taste

Who is this lady?
Gina Petitti was born in 1935 in Faeto, Italy. Her family ran a farm in Italy and she met her husband, Vito, in the same town. In 1970 Gina, Vito, and her 4 children immigrated to America. Gina’s husband passed away in 2012, but she is surrounded by a large family, which includes 9 grandchildren, and lives 5 minutes away from her eldest daughter in New Jersey. Gina spends her time cooking, gardening, and being an active member of her local Church.
Where does Gina get her recipes?
Most of these recipes are from what she learned growing up in Italy, but some of them have evolved over time. She has also learned new recipes from friends and family in America. She is always eager to try new things.
Why is no one helping her in the video?
Grandma Gina doesn’t want help! Usually, it’s because we will slow her down or not do it “her way.” For the videos we only show her, but when the camera cuts we jump in and help form the cookies or prep for the next step.
Why don’t we buy her a new...?
Grandma Gina has a closet and garage full of new gadgets, spoons, forks, pots, etc… but she doesn’t like them because she is used to doing it with her old tools. She has fun getting her hands dirty!
Who is behind the camera?
Her retired son-in-law films, her daughter helps her prep, and she usually has one or two grandkids in the kitchen.
Does Gina read the comments?
We print out and show her how much love she gets from all her viewers, and she is very thankful and hopes you enjoy her cooking! Your comments bring her lots of joy, laughter, and inspiration to make more videos to share with you.

I agree also !!! I have cooked for 40 years , from scratch like Gina,,, and her recipes are perfect !!! My grandmother in law spoke like Gina, she was born in Italy. My husband and mother in law and grandmother have all passed on , but I listen to Gina and the memories come back . My 5 year old granddaughter cooks with me and she now asks to cook with Gina , I have to put Gina on everyday !! We love Gina !!! ❤️❤️

Grandma Gina always makes her pastas on a wooden surface... I only have a round glass table top on wicker from Pier One Imports ... I suspect that glass, marble, granite are not the best surfaces... Why?
I'd rather watch Grandma Gina than anything else! I'm totally hooked. Who needs to see the news when we have real, honest life going on in Gina's kitchen? This lovely lady might have cured me of my sweepstakes addiction, haha. I don't have the time for that anymore!

We should all be so lucky to have our families recipes immortalized on film so that they can pass from generation to generation. So many of my families recipes have been lost over time because my grandmother and aunt cooked by feel and memory. Only very rarely writing down one of their amazing recipes. A professional Chef for over fourty years I find that she shows you and tells you correctly. I also like the fact she shows and explains. I teach others to cook and it know those learning to cook appreciate her talent and time. No one cooks the same but the the outcome is what counts!

This is my sister's favorite dish. I want to surprise her by making it next time I visit. Thank you for teaching us to make it. Gina is a wonderful lady I love her genuine personality. She is a good cook and a very humble lady. How someone could make a thumbs down is sad . I guess there are miserable people in the world but this lady is a Saint.
