    you basically soft washed that pool deck...all it would need is a nice ball valve rinse and its like new money! this is the same concept I was telling you before about concrete....5-6% on concrete, dwell and heavy rinse makes most look brand new in much less time and never have to worry about lines...biggest worry with this process is burning the edges of the grass in which they get heavy rinsed before and after treatment..this is how I do all my annual customers concrete, I only surface clean my first trip if its bad, if its just full of lines from their last pressure washing guy I can come in and soft wash it, heavy rinse and its poppin like new again...plus I get to guarantee there will be no lines returning that when it returns it will be uniform in appearance but when they allow me to take care of it annually they will always have a clean driveway! nice work nevertheless..wash on!

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I've only been able to away doing that on maybe 5% of the driveways I clean. When I do come accross it it's magical. That deck wasn't bad really except the low spots. I like how clean it comes out every time.

It would have been impossible to service this medal roof with my other shoes..what I also learn it’s better to use water only old school super nozzle. Pink Flamingo good job on that house greeting from TN. Where do you get your SH from? And any tips on pressure washing in the winter besides making a hotter sauce mix? Some customers salt the driveways now been having a little snow here and there and icing. Will the SH make a negative reaction? And any tips on washing a stained deck without removing the stain just clean?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey thanks for the comment. If you're washing below 40 degrees a hotter mix works better cause it reacts faster. I'm in Florida so I have no experience in snowy washing states lol I've never even seen snow 😅 yes washing a stained deck will remove the stain especially if you use SH. I stay away from those cause I don't stain decks. There are some wood cleaners out there you may be able to get away with.

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash

      The chemical thats being used is sodium hypochlorite aka chlorine. Which is the same chemical that's in the pool. 😀😀 so no its not hazardous to the pool. As you can tell the pool isn't dirty when I was done. I keep 95% out of dirty water out of the pools. And the little bit that gets into a 7-8k water in a pool won't even be noticeable cause it'll be diluted.

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      When you're rinsing. Rinse sideways instead of straight on or up. That cause water to get behind the siding that in turn makes the weep holes drain dirty water.

    Got those who are ignorant about chemicals like I was. Sodium hypochlorite is the chemical name for chlorine. It’s the same stuff you put in your pool to kill algae. Only problem is it does not come in 5% concentrate, 10% is the lowest I’ve seen so I’m assuming you add 50% water to get to the 5%. My question is I have a screen enclosure that has algae really bad and I’m wondering if I can get away with using the 10% without diluting it?

    • @PinkFlamingoPowerWash
      @PinkFlamingoPowerWash  ปีที่แล้ว

      No don't use 10% straight. 1st its going to be more expensive to do a whole cage depending on the size and 2nd that 10% strength will kills all plant life if you aren't careful. Just dilute it down with water

    Nice job but a couple things. Slow your surface cleaning to prevent lines. Also, whenever cleaning lanai’s with SH we always rollout a pool cover to prevent chemicals falling into the pool. When applying SH to a lanai, use a soft brush to penetrate the solution and let sit for approximately 20mins to kill all the algae. We also apply a screen sealer to prolong screen strength.
