Job looks great man. I own a paver company on the space coast and we offer sealing at the time of installation. I've been in the game for 16 years now. My only suggestion is to invest in a better sprayer. SMK and Seal-n-Lock makes one that fits on top of a 5 gallon bucket, 25ft hose and 20v dewalt battery. Game changer. Keep up with the good work man.
Hey thanks brother. Yea I made a 12v pump cart for sealing. Haven't had the chance to make the video of it. I've seen those lids too I think I may build one cause of the storage advantage of them.

As far as the sealing goes does a regular pump sprayer from ace work and also do I need to look into getting a specific tip to attach to the pump sprayer wand? Good question! What will happen with deck silicast sealer is that it will turn white but when the sun comes back out it will dry it back up and look normal.
I'm in Tampa near Brandon. Working on my 1st brick paver small area next to drive way. Lowe's and Home Depot seem to have limited selection of stones, where are good landscape supplies in the area. New to brick pavers.
Very easy brother. I was afraid of doing it in the beginning but it's quite simple as you see. Minimal equipment is needed and the water based sealer is easy to handle.
It's all about GPM. Higher GPM bigger surface cleaner it will operate. If u get a little home depot 2.5gpm you'll be able to use a 12" 16" surface cleaner. If you have a 8gpm you can push a 32" surface cleaner
I see people using spraying technique and I see some people using a roller technique when applying sealant. What's the difference? Is one technique better than the other or are the results essentially the same? TIA! 👍
I think it's a preference. I don't like the rolling technique as 1. Sand gets onto the roller and 2. You won't get as much sealer into the pavers cause you can't flood them.

Yes you certainly can do it yourself. You wouldn't need to clean the pavers since they'll be new. Just use a blower go get the dust and anything on top of the pavers. They're already sanded so that's an added bonus for you. For sealer I'd suggest a eater based sealer so you're able to spray it with a pump up sprayer. I have two questions- You don’t use a surface cleaner on your pressure washer on the pavers? How would someone apply cleaner solution as a home owner? Pump sprayer?
Whats your best technique for removing triangles? day 2 day we use the broom to sweep it into the joints and remove most of the sand then come with the blower.... the only thing with the blower is that you sometimes blow to much out and then you blow some sand into another part and form triangles on another part of the driveway... Ive sealed, and have seen brick pavers sealed with sand on top of the pavers and its a headache...
How do you keep the sealer spray out of a pool when the deck is pavers? Our pool and pavers were completed in September, but the pavers have not been sealed.
It's not going to hurt the pool. The sealer isn't being sprayed in the pool. A little overspray may get in there but it's so small that a pool with thousands of chlorinated water won't be affected.
A real good degreaser but usually an oil stain won't lift up 100% sometimes if it's been there for a while there will be a shadow remaining. So always let the customers know that
I just dry fit the pavers to see how it looks. I'll have to pull them up and add more paver base. (my 1st brick task) so after sand just get the wet look with sealer let it dry ?
Yes after sanding the pavers just seal them with 2 coats. Idk which sealer you're using I can't speak for other brands as I've only used the brand you see on the video.
Thank you brother. I dont have the links for those cause i buy them locally. Best thing is to reach out to florida silica sand company to see where they are sold near you, and same goes for the deco products silicast since they only have a select few distributors.

is the process the same for flagstone pathways
Pretty much yes
You didn't explain the buffer that you used. Is there a special pad that is used for the pavers? Thanks!
The surface cleaner is an attachment that connects to the pressure washers hose. It has a 2 nozzle bar that spins to clean the pavers evenly.
Thank you for taking the time out to explain that, I appreciate it !
Great video bro👍🏾💯⭐
Thanks JJ! My man.
Where are you out of
Tampa Bay area
@ hey i know you probably get this a lot but do you have any need for some help email me
@ it would be a honor to come down there
Thanks for the offer@CarsenCulp
Does it make a pool deck slippery
If done incorrectly it can.
How are you I’m just getting into the business
How do I price a job like this? Pressure washing and the sealer? I would appreciate the help thank you
You price it per sq ft. And it's all inclusive. You're charging for the whole process, not separately. Price per sq ft varies per market
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash thank you I’m in the central Florida area what’s a good price to start at? Per square foot
@@therealcomdyguy2822 I'm in west coast of Florida. The average price starts at $1
what is that attachment your using on your hose
The DN10 ball valve?
Nice,Cliff can i use SH on red brick wall?
Thanks Sir
Yes of course.
Very timely Sir!
Thank you for the knowledge Cliff 😎
Whats your best technique for removing triangles? day 2 day we use the broom to sweep it into the joints and remove most of the sand then come with the blower.... the only thing with the blower is that you sometimes blow to much out and then you blow some sand into another part and form triangles on another part of the driveway... Ive sealed, and have seen brick pavers sealed with sand on top of the pavers and its a headache...
Your 2nd house is usually the houses we clean on a daily basis.
I've never gotten that honestly
How do you keep the sealer spray out of a pool when the deck is pavers? Our pool and pavers were completed in September, but the pavers have not been sealed.
It's not going to hurt the pool. The sealer isn't being sprayed in the pool. A little overspray may get in there but it's so small that a pool with thousands of chlorinated water won't be affected.
Go Work! What would you recommend for removing oil stains
A real good degreaser but usually an oil stain won't lift up 100% sometimes if it's been there for a while there will be a shadow remaining. So always let the customers know that
Great video. Is pretreatment always needed? I have already power washed pavers.
No it doesn't. If it's cleaned already just sand , blow off and seal
How much did that job pay. I need to get familiar with the price to charge
Each area/market prices are different and of course experience/influence has an effect on it too. I priced this job at $1.50 a sq ft.
hola bro, vivo en las vegas a como puedo cobrar ese trabajo o a como lo cobra usted y disculpe lo indicrcreto .y de hacerlo en tejado
It really depends on the size of the project. I recommend charging by the square foot.
@PinkFlamingoPowerWash ,,,I understand, I would like to know how much it costs per foot or the usual amount in an outside part of a garage. Thanks
@ASMR1977. that will depend on your local area. So anywhere from $1-4 a sq ft
I have a new patio and the sand keeps washing out. Very frustrating. Didn’t know it had to be sealed. What type of sealer do you use? Thanks.
Deco products silicast
Do you do work in Winter Garden Florida?
unfortunately I do not travel out that far. But Jose is out there in Orlando area.
Awesome video, great crew, thanks for your help, can u please leave a link to the sand and sealer you used
Thank you brother. I dont have the links for those cause i buy them locally. Best thing is to reach out to florida silica sand company to see where they are sold near you, and same goes for the deco products silicast since they only have a select few distributors.
@@PinkFlamingoPowerWash no worries, thanks for the videos,
Is there any alternative to SH when cleaning the pavers? I have a potential job that's next to a river
Maybe a peroxide derived cleaner. I don't ever use that stuff though.
Where you get those blue water shoes
Amazion. There's a link I'm the description for them.
